Andreas and Kai, after destroying countless worlds, realized that defeating the Supreme Author by dismantling each fiction individually was an impossible task. They needed a more efficient method—one that directly targeted the core weaknesses of the Supreme Authors.
Andreas conceived a daring, highly risky plan.
"Kai, listen to this," Andreas began with a serious tone. "Imagine this: Supreme Authors never truly interact directly with their creations. They create worlds and let them run, observing from the outside. But what if we design a story that forces them to enter it? A world so intricate and challenging that they can't resist stepping in."
Kai nodded, his eyes gleaming. "Alright, but how do we ensure they get trapped?"
"Here's how," Andreas explained, his hands moving as though sketching in the air. "Imagine we create a fiction that directly involves them—a story that seems crafted to destroy us, not them. We'll fake our vulnerabilities, creating situations that force them to intervene. But once they enter, they'll become part of the story, and the rules that bind us will also bind them."
Kai frowned. "But they're Supreme Authors. Can't they rewrite the rules?"
"That's the trick," Andreas smirked. "Imagine this story as a narrative labyrinth, a world caught in an endless loop. Even if they try to rewrite the rules, they'll only create new loops that still trap them. They'll be stuck in this story forever—or at least long enough for us to take them down."
Building the Trap
Andreas and Kai set out to create the story they needed. They designed a world that would compel the Supreme Author to intervene. The story revolved around two characters, closely resembling Andreas and Kai, approaching a level of power capable of annihilating the entire multiverse.
"Imagine this," Andreas explained to Kai while sketching plans in the dirt. "We make it seem like they're an uncontrollable threat—a creation that wasn't supposed to exist. We let the Supreme Author think this story is an anomaly beyond their control."
Kai added, "And we make it seem like only they can stop it."
"Exactly!" Andreas exclaimed. "But once they enter, they'll be caught in an endless loop. This world will constantly shift and adapt to their every move, ensuring they never truly escape."
To guarantee the trap worked, Andreas embedded intricate narrative rules. Any Supreme Author entering the story would lose most of their control, becoming subject to the story's structure. The rules of the story would continuously present challenges, forcing the Supreme Author to play by its narrative.
The Trap Is Set
Finally, the targeted Supreme Author noticed the anomaly they had created. Believing the story had the potential to disrupt the cosmic balance, the Supreme Author decided to intervene personally.
As the Supreme Author entered the story, Andreas and Kai knew their plan had succeeded. The Supreme Author began to act, attempting to neutralize the "threat" carefully crafted within the narrative. But each time they tried, the narrative shifted, binding them further into the story.
At this point, Andreas and Kai revealed themselves to the Supreme Author. The entity looked both furious and impressed.
"Remarkable," the Supreme Author said, their voice echoing throughout the fictional world. "You've created something extraordinary. No fiction has ever managed to imprison an entity like me—and yet, here you are."
The Supreme Author continued, "You've even accessed realms beyond what any fiction can reach. A place where all collapses into absolute zero, beyond the bounds of transfinite numbers or any conceivable concept."
Andreas stared at the Supreme Author without flinching. "That's exactly what we intended. Now, you are part of this story, and we'll make sure you never escape."
In one swift motion, Andreas and Kai attacked the trapped Supreme Author, absorbing their immense power. The overwhelming energy surged through them, granting them access to the realm of the Supreme Authors—a dimension far greater than any fiction that had ever existed.
With their newfound power, Andreas whispered to Kai, "This is just the beginning."
