"Hey, Little AI, do you have the detailed blueprints and manufacturing methods for the Iron Man armor?"
Ned stared at the ceiling, suddenly breaking the silence with a question.
"Due to the immense destructive potential of the Iron Man armor, the cautious Mr. Stark didn't upload the designs for the advanced suits to my database," Little AI replied. "However, I do have the blueprints for the Mark V armor, which the brilliant Mr. Stark labeled as a harmless, bulletproof vest."
"Oh?"
Ned, initially disappointed by the first part of her reply, was suddenly surprised by the unexpected turn. His eyes lit up with excitement. "Do you have the technology for a miniature Arc Reactor?"
"No."
Little AI's sweet voice sounded again, but to Ned, it felt like a crushing blow.
"Are you sure, Little AI?" Ned asked, unwilling to give up, though he suspected Stark wouldn't let the core technology of his Iron Man suits—the Arc Reactor—be leaked.
"Yes, sir. Little AI doesn't possess the latest safe and harmless miniature Arc Reactor technology," she confirmed.
"'Latest'? 'Safe and harmless'?"
Ned picked up on the keywords in her reply, and his mind raced. He recalled that the "latest, safe, and harmless" reactor must be the triangular one Stark developed after deciphering his father's clues. That reactor not only saved Stark's life but also significantly outperformed the previous palladium-based reactor.
But even the older model wasn't something Ned would dismiss!
" Little AI, does that mean you have the technology for the original reactor?" Ned asked tentatively.
"Yes."
"Perfect!"
Ned leaped up in excitement. Turning toward the door, he commanded, "Let's head to Oscorp. Little AI, I need you to rush-build the Mark V armor before sunrise. You have full clearance to utilize all of Oscorp's energy and laboratories."
"I'll ensure no one disturbs us before morning."
"Understood, sir," Little AI replied confidently. With the vast resources of Oscorp at her disposal, creating a Mark V armor would be no problem.
Ned, equally confident, added, "Make sure the suit fits Xiwen. In fact, make a few sizes—she's still in high school, so she's likely to grow."
"Sir, I can complete a maximum of two suits by sunrise," Little AI said.
"No problem. We'll make more trips if needed," Ned replied nonchalantly. "For tonight, prioritize completing one suit and dedicating the rest of the time to producing Arc Reactors. Energy is the key issue."
"Understood, sir."
"And don't forget to recharge yourself. The nanotech armor has been activated multiple times without being recharged."
"Got it, sir."
Ravencroft Psychiatric Hospital
"We're here to take this man."
Members of a mysterious organization handed over Electro's file to the administrator.
"Oh?"
The administrator glanced at the file and immediately refused. "No, that's not possible."
"Alright then."
The lead member of the group shrugged nonchalantly. A dagger slid from his sleeve into his hand, and without hesitation, he plunged it into the administrator's chest.
"Ugh... ugh..."
The administrator struggled briefly before collapsing lifelessly. He never imagined that these supposed "officials" would be so ruthless, killing him over a simple refusal.
"Bang!"
"Shhh!"
"Shhh!"
The group didn't come alone. As soon as the leader acted, the others swiftly followed suit, eliminating the guards stationed nearby with ruthless efficiency.
"Leave no one alive. Dahl and Ram, come with me to meet our new friend," the leader commanded coldly, ignoring the blood staining his clothes.
"Yes!"
"Bang!"
"Shhh!"
Electro's cell was also guarded, but before the guards could react, they were swiftly overpowered and killed by the assassins.
"Who are you people?"
Despite the torment he had endured in the asylum, Electro's psyche had been sharpened by the experience. Watching someone die right in front of him didn't faze him in the slightest.
"Max, we're here to save you," the leader said, stepping into the room after his team neutralized the guards.
"Save me? Why?"
"We need you to help us save the world," the leader replied, his tone slightly manic.
"You need me?... You need me?" Electro murmured, repeating the words to himself.
"That's right. I need you," the leader affirmed, smiling faintly as if amused by the mental state of these "enhanced" individuals. The Green Goblin was unstable, and now Electro seemed no different.
"Alright. Let's go," Electro finally said after a brief pause.
"Where is this place?"
Electro looked around the underground base curiously.
"This is our home," the leader replied with a smile. Turning to a man in a sharp suit approaching them, he said, "Boss, I've brought our new friend."
"Friend? I once had a friend, but he betrayed me," Electro said, his gaze locking onto the man in the suit.
"Is that so? Trust me, we're true friends. True friends never betray each other," the man replied with a mysterious smile. "Come with me, my friend. I'll show you to your room."
"...Alright."
Electro hesitated but followed the man.
Soon, they arrived at a simple yet comfortable bedroom.
"Rest here, my friend. You've been through a lot," the man said before stepping out.
Electro remained silent, watching him leave.
"Bang!"
The moment the door closed, the walls of the room shifted, revealing a screen displaying the man's face alongside Dr. Octopus.
"Argh!" Electro roared in fury, unleashing a surge of electricity toward the door. But the attack had no effect.
"Don't bother resisting. This room was specially designed for you by Dr. Otto himself," the man said with a smirk.
