Flying out over the city next to Jean I see the Hulk jumping through the city below me. At the moment this version of the Hulk seems to have the intelligence of a toddler, so thinking of future scenarios it's probably better to be friends with him now.
After a short flight Jean and I have finally left the city limits and split up, Jean heads back to the house and I follow the Hulk. Diving into the ocean I catch up to the Hulk, the Hulk when I catch up is looking through a sunken shipwreck.
Extending a tendril I gently tap the Hulk's shoulder and motion for him to follow me. Swimming through the ocean for a few kilometres we eventually surface just outside of my house. Jumping to the top of the cliff I take a seat in my garden.
Following me Hulk also takes a seat before blankly staring at me. For a few minutes after that the Hulk and I had a small conversation before he fully calmed down. Soon the now calm Hulk began to rapidly shrink before only Bruce Banner was left.
Bruce for the most part looked immensely confused about where he was, looking around for a bit Bruce's gaze finally fell on me. For a few seconds quiet reined across the garden before Bruce screamed and fell backwards off the chair.
Chuckling at the scared scientist I stand up and return to my human form, extending my hand I grab him by the shoulder to pull him back up onto the seat. Seeing he doesn't seem to want to talk I start the conversation.
"Good Evening Mr. Banner, I've previously sent you a few emails regarding offering you a job." – Morgan
"Wha.. What are you?" – Bruce
Shivering in fear Bruce doesn't seem to listen to anything I say, sitting back down I notice Jean walking out with a tray of drinks. Happily taking a drink from Jean she sits down next to us.
"Who's this guy?" – Jean
"This is Dr. Banner; you've seen his alternate persona the Hulk. I was in the process of offering Mr. Banner a job but it seems he is mildly distracted." – Morgan
Looking over at Bruce who's now shakily drinking one of Jean's offered drinks whilst never taking his eyes off us. Chatting with Jean for a few minutes Bruce finally seems to calm down and regain his composure.
"So… You mentioned a job?" – Bruce
Exasperated I turn my focus from Jean to Bruce.
"Yes I offered you a job. I want to hire you to work as a nuclear physicist in my company" – Morgan
Pondering it Bruce seemed to give my offer a lot of thought, I though am starting to regret my offer because he's acting pretty dumb. After a few seconds of thinking Bruce agrees to my offer, sceptical I was expecting more questions from him.
"You're going about this weirdly, you're either incredibly desperate or trying to screw me" – Morgan
Considering the two options I scan Bruce's surface thoughts, confirming he's not trying to screw me over. I also notice a lot of overlap between Bruce's and Hulk's emotions, I guess making a good impression with Hulk was worth it.
Smiling at Bruce I conjure a contract and place it in front of him. The contract basically states he will stay in accommodations provided by my company till he gets his own place, it also states his work hours, conditions, and payment.
Placing it on the table in front of him along with a pen I give him the chance to read it over. Whilst he does that I go over a basic introduction to investing with Jean, after a few minutes Bruce signs the contract and I send him off in a taxi with a copy of his contract and my number in case he goes green.
Once Bruce left Jean and I spent a few more minutes enjoying the sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below. Heading inside Jean went to bed and I returned to my workshop. Taking out the completed project from the atomic printer I gave it a look over before putting it in my inventory.
Over the next month and a half, I knuckled down and got to work. During the weekdays Jean spent most of her time at university completing her degree, on the weekends Jean and I went on a few more dates and caught up with the Meta's.
In this time Eric was able to make lots of progress with Meta-human rights and had established the now renamed Meta manor as a front for Meta learning. He also converted part of the manor into a boarding school for those with difficult powers.
With the combined efforts of Beast, Forge, and I we were able to make a bracelet that suppressed a Meta's power to a level they could control. Using this new bracelet young kids were able to learn how to control their abilities without accidentally hurting people.
Away from the meta-human's I had made massive progress with my technology. Now after weeks of effort I was able to make a few more small quantum chip fabricators and another atomic printer. Now below my house was a vast sprawling machine facility extending kilometres under the ground.
After creating two more Big Buravs during this time I was able to begin massively expanding my mining operation and reach. Now down in my extensive facility I had one crucible from the Horizon universe constantly making more machines and another in construction.
Overall, my facility was teeming with activity and was home to well over a thousand robots and growing. I also moved my factories down to my facility and exported the finished products out through an extended tunnel that exited over fifty kilometres from my house.
My current daily part output was on average 300,000 parts but I wasn't increasing production for the moment due to already flooding the market.
Another project that had seen considerable progress was the data network, now after over a month of tireless effort the spiderbots were able to extend my data network through the Burav tunnels for over four hundred kilometres in every direction.
This data network was part of a long term project I was working on that would massively improve the internet and act as a planetary information network for my machines.
At the moment the data network was useless though as every cable was over two kilometres deep at the minimum to shield them. Each data cable was 30 centimetres in diameter and surrounded by a metal compound used in the Horizon universe.
During this time, I was able to complete a few projects and had now launched a series of new phones equal to the most up to date phones from 2025 for a cheap price.
The goal of releasing the new phones was to increase my revenue, give me access to free data and finally increase my public presence as a company.
During this time I had proceeded and launched a new game console better than the highest end computers in 2025 along with over fifty new games. Thanks to that my reputation was at an all time high and my companies net worth had jumped to the billions.
I had also brought out 26% of Stark Industries stock and had to deflect government spies multiple times. For my actual company I had continued my efforts to buy up small business's and had moved on to medium business's now.
My work force had seen a considerable increase with notable names such as Bruce Banner, Helen Sho, Maya Hansen, Quinten Beck, and Otto Octavius now part of my RnD department. And through these people I was able to begin progressing into both the medical and entertainment industries.
To further improve my public reputation, I had started construction on a project to clean up New York and was as such now making a third less advanced crucible in the New York subway system.
Finally, I was at the moment standing in my largest construction bay to date deep underneath the ocean. Infront of me were two projects, one completed and the other barely started. The barely started project was a modified Horus I was currently making.
The finished project on the other hand was a 300 metre long slick and shiny rocket. Built using technology from the No Mans Sky universe the ship was capable of repeated earth to space flights. Inside the ship the majority of the space was taken up by a compressed storage system.
The ship had no life support or crew cabins and was designed solely to be either remotely piloted or controlled via its simple onboard Ai. Within the half of the ship not dedicated to storage I installed the delicate parts for the thrusters and the pulse engine.
Once in space and in position the top half of the ship would fold out to release the construction drones and satellites. Overall, this ship was only really intended to get to the outer edges of the solar system before being repurposed.
Connecting to the construction bays systems I activate a preprogrammed protocol. Echoing across the construction bay large doors open up in front of the ship and it slowly begins moving. This protocol was designed to move the ship into a proper launch position.
Leaving the construction bay whilst the ship moves, I head to my underground training bay. There had been something I've wanted to try for a while but hadn't until now because it hadn't felt right. Sitting in the centre of my training room I focus on myself.
Looking into my typhon instincts deep in my mind I focus on what I want. Since the moment I was first reborn in this universe I could feel instincts from all my races at the back of my mind, though with my immunity to control I never had to worry about losing myself to them and put it out of mind.
Focusing on a specific feeling from my typhon instincts I remember a scene from the game Prey. In the game Prey humans only ever contacted one typhon, after meeting the first typhon it was able to feast on matter and replicate.
Now trying this I attempt to trigger my instincts, shuddering I feel my body vibrate before two small pieces break off me. Mentally these pieces feel just like my limbs but at the same time the same as a full body.
Shifting these parts they violently move and take a small 60 centimetre tall form almost identical to the mimics in the series. The only notable difference with my mimics is the light crimson and purple energy floating around them when they move.
Curious I attempt to use my matter manipulation through one of the mimics but find I can't, feeling something from my instincts I get the feeling I must specialise these parts of me to use my powers through them.
Trying a different power, I attempt to use my technopathy but can't. Focusing on my instincts again I get a vague picture of what I must do and follow it. Focusing on one of my mimics I feel my energy transfer into it as it begins to vibrate.
Twisting and stretching the mimic continues to grow until it turns into a technopath, similar to when it was a mimic the only difference between the game version and my version is the crimson and purple energy lightly coursing around it.
Happy with my little experiment I do a few more tests before moving on, after a brief test I can conclude my connection between parts is supraliminal meaning each thought travelling between my parts is instantaneous and completely ignores the speed of light.
Seeing how useful this is I split off another mimic and send it to my labs for study, as the mimic is part of me I never have to worry about them going rogue which is amazing. Happy with my discoveries I mentally send the Technopath to my rocket.
By having my Technopath on the rocket I can instantly control all the systems no matter how far from Earth they get. Meaning I can easily update the ship's fabrication plans and assembly catalogue however I please.
Finally turning to the last mimic left I attempt to test another signature typhon move, channelling my energy I start to get the hang of my instincts. Twisting and stretching this mimic continues to grow before stopping at 2 metres tall.
What I created now is a weaver. In the Prey universe, Weavers, which are a subspecies of typhon are capable of creating Coral. Coral in simple turns is the Typhon's psychic brain matter extended onto reality.
By creating Coral, typhon are able to increase both their psionic might and brain power. Testing my control of the weaver it still feels exactly like any other part of me. Moving out of the room I teleport the short distance to my deepest tunnels.
These tunnels are well over 20 kilometres under the surface and are part of my effort to slowly extend my reach across all points of the planet. Moving into an unused tunnel with the weaver, I brace myself.
Using a few thought trains, I begin controlling the weaver to produce Coral. Instantly my energy begins to plummet as a crimson and purple energy begins to form between the weavers manipulators.
As my energy plunges and the Coral increases I can feel a slight increase in my energy pools and brainpower. Stopping the weaver after it goes through over 200,000 pts of energy I look at my creation.
Before me floating peacefully in mid air is a basketball sized mass of crimson and purple energy, as I think parts of the Coral light up and flicker before shutting off just as quickly. Extending my hand I'm able to move the Coral just as easily as with my weaver part.
Smiling widely, I continue to poke the Coral for a bit, realising how useful this discovery is I set a few of my construction hives to begin reinforcing this area. Teleporting away I leave the weaver in the deepest tunnels and move instead to my rocket launch site.
From now on I plan to use a small part of my passive energy generation to produce Coral, by producing more Coral it indirectly gives me more intelligence and increases both my energy recovery and energy pool.
Turning my main thought channel back to the rocket launch I quickly check the technopath, seeing the technopath was able to access the central computer through the access hatches I prepare for take-off.
Slowly the rocket tilts up till it's at its full height, easily dwarfing most skyscrapers. Sealing the launch chamber, thick doors move into position. Moving on to the next step water begins to flood in through pumps into the launch bay.
Waiting a few minutes for the chamber to fill fully and pressurise I move to the next step. Quickly checking over all my sensors in or on the rocket I confirm nothing is going wrong. Opening the colossal door at the top of the launch chamber the pressure continues to increase as more water floods in.
Looking through my reinforced window I look down at my colossal ship currently fully submerged. Waiting for the doors to fully open I do another system check. In order to not wreck the area around my house I had opted for an ocean based launch.
At the moment the hatch for my launch chamber was over a thousand metres under water, the high depth both shielded from most radars and lowered the chance the rockets launch would devastate the surrounding ecosystem.
Checking the final measures were in place I activate the hard light based stealth technology. By emulating the background colour my stealth technology is able to perfectly hide from nearly all wavelengths of light.
The only thing my stealth tech couldn't hide from at the moment was energy detection. Releasing the holding clasps around the rocket it began to rise. Another bonus with launching deep under water.
By fastening artificial buoyancy devices to the outside of my rocket it's able to pick up speed during it's trip to the water's surface. Then when the rocket reaches the surface the buoyancy devices detach and sink, the rocket on the other hand continues its momentum and activates it's thruster once it breaches the water.
Watching the rocket through my remote cameras, I could see its shape rapidly rising through the water. Reaching the surface the water bursts away, whilst the rocket's not visible the displaced water is.
Then with a massive roar the ocean burns as the engines activate and the ship tears from the water, checking the internal systems everything is working to plan. Continuing into the sky my rocket easily breaches the atmosphere and takes to space.
Happy with the successful launch I reseal the launch chamber and begin it's draining process. Then as if I were never there I teleport out, I have a date with Jean soon after all. As I leave I quickly check my notifications.
