Haylie POV
I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach as Liam's lips pressed against mine. His kiss was magnetic, igniting a fire within me that I couldn't resist. It was as though my body responded to him instinctively, surrendering to a pull I hadn't felt before.
When we finally broke the kiss, both of us were left breathless, our eyes locked on each other. Liam's gaze didn't waver, and I felt a shiver as his fingertips traced softly down my neckline.
"I'm sorry about the marks I left on your neck," Liam murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.
A teasing smile tugged at my lips as I looked at him. "It's not all bad," I replied. "But some of your kisses do leave me feeling raw the next day."
