The rain had cleared, leaving the camp quiet under the weight of damp air. Klinton sat by the campfire, his silhouette flickering in the firelight, unaware of my presence. With a subtle spell, I ensured his eyes would only see me and no one else. It was time to make my move.
After seeing Liam I decided to chance into some jeans and shirt with boots. I need some dried clothes before visit Klinton.
As I approached the camp, my boots crunching softly on the wet ground, Klinton looked up. His eyes widened in shock, and I couldn't help but let a smile curve my lips.
"Why do you look so surprised to see me?" I asked, my tone laced with mockery.
"You're supposed to be dead," Klinton said, his voice low and wary, though his expression betrayed his disbelief.
