Liam POV
We followed Klinton and JC until we stopped in front of a man. I came to a halt beside Klinton, my eyes locking on the figure before us. He was tall, broad-shouldered, with sharp, commanding features that gave him an air of authority.
"Liam, I want you to meet my dad," Klinton said, his voice steady. "He's the Thief of the Spirit World."
My lips parted slightly in surprise, and I swallowed hard, trying to push down the nervousness creeping up my throat. The tall man's intense, deep brown eyes bore into me, making me feel as though he could see every secret I'd ever tried to keep.
"Liam Berkley of the Cress Moon Pack," the man said, his voice rich and authoritative. "Your father is one of the bravest men I've heard of—a strong Alpha."
How does he know my father? I thought my father had no connections to them. A knot of unease settled in my chest as questions swirled in my mind.
