Liam POV
I had spent the previous day meticulously arranging every detail for Haylie's birthday. I wanted it to be perfect, a day she would remember forever.
As the sun broke through the horizon, casting its warm, golden glow, I was already up and ready, my excitement pushing me forward.
In my hands, I carried the black mini dress what my mother had given her as a gift, along with a pair of stunning black high heels and a delicate silver diamond bracelet. I headed straight to Haylie's house, where Aunt Camelia had promised to leave the door unlocked so I could carry out my plan without waking anyone.
Quietly, I entered the house, careful not to make a sound, and made my way up to Haylie's room.
Pushing the door open as silently as I could, I stepped inside, the faint scent of her lingering in the air.
