Secrets of the Map
Simon stood at the edge of the glowing map, his gaze scanning the illuminated territories marked as zones of the Abyss's intrusion. Inside, his fire stirred — not just his power but a mix of anger, fear, and a desperate desire to understand.
"We can't stop here," he said, clenching his fists.
"You're right," Adelina replied, her voice steady, though her eyes betrayed her worry. "But if we go further, we might not return."
Simon glanced at her, feeling a twinge in his chest.
"You're not afraid, are you?"
"Being afraid is normal," she said, trying to smile. "What matters is what we do with that fear."

The Call of the Abyss
As Simon touched one of the symbols, darkness once again overtook his mind. The voices grew louder, as though speaking directly into his ears.
"Do you think you can change fate, Simon?"
He felt the fire within him struggle to push back the intrusion, but the darkness was overpowering.
"Every step you take leads you closer to us... you're already ours."
"Simon!" Adelina's voice broke through the haze as she shook his shoulders. "Are you okay?"
He opened his eyes, realizing he was standing in the center of the room, his fists clenched so tightly that his nails had left marks on his palms.
"The Abyss... it's trying to break us," he breathed.
"Then don't let it," Adelina said firmly. "We have to keep moving."

The Journey Continues
The corridors grew darker, the air heavier. It felt as though the Abyss was draining their strength, testing their resolve.
"How much longer do we have to endure this?" Adelina asked, her voice tense.
"Until we reach its core," Simon replied.
"And if we don't find it?"
He stopped, turning to her.
"Then it will find us."
Her eyes met his, and she realized he wasn't joking.

Deeper into Shadows
Their path led to another obstacle — massive doors etched with ancient runes.
"What is this?" Simon asked, running his hand over the cold metal.
"Looks like a seal," Adelina replied. "But who put it here?"
The runes glowed faintly as soon as he touched them, and the doors began to creak open. A chilling wind rushed through, carrying a distant roar.
"Get ready," Simon said, flames igniting in his hands. "Something's waiting for us."
