( in the afternoon, still in Siri's mom's hospital, on their way to Wit's ward ):;
( Inside the hospital):;
The principal's words hung in the air, her venomous tone making everyone uncomfortable. Siri, a member of The Elite, smirked slightly, her expression calm but condescending.
"I'm not trying to fix everything, principal," Siri said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm just trying to support my friends and family."
The principal snorted, her expression disdainful. "Save it, Siri," she said. "We all know how things work around here. Your family's influence gets you special treatment, no matter what."
Wut, a member of The Tops, sneered, his eyes flashing with contempt. "That's not fair, principal," he said. "We've worked hard to get where we are. It's not just about Siri's family name."
The principal raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "Oh, really?" she said. "Then why are you all getting to go to university, while my son has to fight for his place?"
Chan, another member of The Elite, spoke up, his voice dripping with arrogance. "Principal, that's not a fair comparison. We're the best of the best. We deserve to be at the top."
The principal's face turned red with rage, her eyes blazing with fury. "You think you're so clever, don't you?" she spat. "Well, let me tell you something, kids. The real world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It's hard, and it's cruel. And if you think you can just waltz in here and expect special treatment, you're sadly mistaken."
The Elite and The Tops exchanged smirks, their faces reflecting their amusement at the principal's outburst.
Siri took a deep breath, her expression calm. "Principal, I understand that you're upset, but—"
The principal cut her off, her voice rising. "Upset? You think I'm just upset? You have no idea what it's like to see my son struggling, to see him in pain every day. You have no idea what it's like to feel helpless, to feel like you can't do anything to make it better."
The Elite and The Tops shifted uncomfortably, their faces reflecting their annoyance.
Wut spoke up, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Principal, we're sorry. We know that what happened to your son was... unfortunate."
The principal's face turned cold, her eyes flashing with anger. "Unfortunate?" she repeated. "Unfortunate is when you spill coffee on your shirt. Unfortunate is when you get a flat tire. What happened to my son was not unfortunate. It was a tragedy. And it was all because of your carelessness."
The Elite and The Tops looked down, their faces reflecting their annoyance.
Siri took a deep breath, her expression calm. "Principal, we know that we made a mistake. And we're truly sorry for what happened. But we're not going to apologize for something that wasn't entirely our fault."
The principal's expression turned icy, her eyes blazing with fury. "You're not even sorry," she spat. "You're not even remorseful for what you did."
Chan spoke up, his voice dripping with arrogance. "And we've all had to repeat a grade at some point because of your unfair policies, principal."
Siri added, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Yeah, and we all had to deal with your constant nagging and complaining."
Wut chimed in, his voice cold. "And also, it's not like your son is the only one affected, principal. So, please, don't do too much."
The principal's face turned red with rage, her eyes flashing with fury.
The principal took a deep breath, her expression calm. "I think that's enough for today," she said. "You can all go now."
The Elite and The Tops nodded, their faces reflecting their relief. They turned to leave, their expressions unrepentant...
