Chapter 9 - Chapter Nine: Disappearance

As the night wore on, the parents of Abraham's friends gathered at the police station, desperate for any news about their missing children. The tension in the air was palpable, with worried glances and hushed conversations filling the room.

Maya's father, a tall, imposing man with a quick temper, was particularly agitated. "This is all Abraham's fault," he growled, his face red with anger. "If he hadn't been so reckless, our kids would be safe at home right now."

Abraham's mother, a calm and gentle woman, tried to intervene. "Please, Mr. Patel, let's not jump to conclusions. We don't know what happened to the kids yet."

But Maya's father would not be placated. "I know exactly what happened," he snarled. " irresponsible behavior put our kids in danger. He's always been a bit of a wild card, that one."

Abraham's father, a tall, imposing man with a calm and authoritative demeanor, stepped forward. "That's not fair, Mr. Patel," he said. "We don't know what happened to the kids yet. Let's focus on finding them, rather than assigning blame."

Rachel's mother, a petite, anxious-looking woman, nodded in agreement. "Yes, let's please just focus on finding the kids. We can sort out what happened later."

Just then, the police officer in charge of the case, a no-nonsense woman with a kind face, walked into the room. "I have some news," she said, her expression serious. "We've found a piece of paper near an abandoned house on the outskirts of town. It had Abraham's name on it, along with a cryptic message."

The room fell silent, with all eyes on the officer. "Yes, we were aware of that but you said you have to investigate further have you figured out?, what did the message say?" Abraham's father asked, his voice tight with worry.

The officer hesitated before answering. "It said, 'Meet me at the old oak tree at midnight. Come alone.' The message was unsigned, but it seems to suggest that Abraham may have been lured to the abandoned house voluntarily."

Maya's father's face turned red with rage. "I knew it," he shouted. "Abraham's been acting strangely for weeks. He's been getting these weird messages and having these bizarre dreams. He's been drawn into some kind of cult or something."

Abraham's mother stood up, her eyes flashing with anger. "That's not true," she said. "Abraham's just a normal teenager. He's not involved in any cults or anything like that."

The officer intervened, her voice calm and authoritative. "Let's not speculate about what may or may not have happened. We need to focus on finding the kids and bringing them home safely. I'll need to ask you all some more questions, and then we'll start canvassing the area and searching for any leads."

As the officer began to question the parents, Abraham's father couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. What had really happened to their son? And what did the cryptic message on the piece of paper mean?

Meanwhile, back in the dream world, Abraham and his friends were facing their own challenges.

"We have find our way out of this cave," Abraham said, his voice low and urgent. "We have to find a way back home."

Together, they went through the twisting corridor of the cave, they could hear roaring sound that was like thunder coming from behind them.

They felt fear, covered with goosebumps they scrambled to the cave's entrance, when they got outside the cave they discovered that they were now in a vast, open plain. The sky above was a deep, burning crimson and the air was filled with an otherworldly energy.

Meanwhile this shadow watched them from within the cave, it's eyes blazing with a desire for revenge. The battle between Abraham and the shadow was far from over, and the next round was just around the corner.
