Chapter 1 - Does fate really exist?

It was raining heavily, the bus stops at the traffic lights on the bridge next to a girl

.... Boom, a kick in the bus door ...

WANTS TO JUMP! (a frightened woman screams),

I run as fast as I can and pull her hand. She falls into my arms, her eyes have lost all trace of life. She looks at me blankly and says nothing, her eyes begin to fill with tears, she trembles and digs her nails into my arm:

" Why? Why have you dragged me, who are you to force me to live (only one emotion could be read on her face, suffering) in a society where life has no value. The only people who really cared for me had to abandon me. Is it wrong that I want to see them? TELL ME!" ...

I took her in my arms and she started to cry. We cried together, the bus passengers watch us as if we were in a play.

We cried together, and the people on the bus looked at us as if we were in a theatre. The bus driver stopped and called 112, after 15 minutes an ambulance and police arrived. The paramedic from the ambulance came and took us both inside, they gave her some painkillers and started disinfecting her fingernail marks from my flesh.

Then we went to the police station with the officers. They took me to make a statement:

"Do you want to make a complaint? The girl is pretty, I think you can make a deal."..... "There's no need for that!"

I reply, slightly irritated, and another officer appears:

"I'd like to inform you that a criminal file has been opened against you for destruction of property," so I end up paying 1000 euro/ 3000 lei, 3 months' salary, for a bus door. After an hour they were done with me. Meanwhile they interrogated her and made her do a quick drug test. In that moment I became furious.

(her side of view)

-Would you like to come with me? he asked me tenderly.

-Yes, please! I replied, exhausted from what had happened.

A few hours earlier, I thought I was going to end it all, that nobody was interested in me as a person and that I was totally useless. Everyone around me treated me as a tool for their own purposes. He shows up, a stranger, and looks at me as if I'm priceless.

Remembering what happened after I climbed the bridge and how I was treated at the station, I let go of his hand, fell down on my knees and cried, covering my face with my hands. He came and stood beside me and took me in his arms, arms in which I felt safe. a few minutes passed. He helps me to stand up. When I do, I realise I'm standing on a dog turd that we've both stepped in.

- hahaha..... HAHaha

- Why are you laughing? (I guess he hasn't noticed yet, we were both standing in a rain soaked dog turd with a fresh smell ;) )

- I think we're going to get lucky  (*Romanian superstition)... I look down and back at him, he looks me in the eye and starts laughing hysterically. The whole place had taken on an atmosphere of melodramatic comedy.

I walked over to the nearest puddle and lipped my boots a little, and he came up to me and pretended to splash me with water. I instinctively dodge and splash him.

- Sorry, but you asked for it! he says.

-Ah. And I start to run, I see he's coming after me, so I run through the puddles to stop him.

- Ha! Gotcha.

He caught me again in his arms and I looked at his injured arm.

- Sorry about the wounds! I didn't mean to... (tearful) Sobbing Sobbing

-For these wounds, which are a total loss to me, will you give me the pleasure of having tea with me?
