Tanya is a girl born out of wedlock she has never experience love since birth she was brought up by her step mother and her father was always at the mountain. Her stepmother Rosa was well known as the wife of the famous doctor Julia that can heal any form of sickness without stress. Rosa never liked Tanya because she don't want her(Tanya) to share from her husband inheritance. Rosa gave birth to a girl call Kayla, but Kayla was not as bright as Tanya so Rosa decided to kill Tanya so that her husband will notice only Kayla her daughter. She never knew that Tanya was the one that carries her husband's ability and will be the next of kin no matter what she do. Tanya and Kayla grew up together as sisters but not as normal sisters . They grew up in hatred instead of love which brought competition between the two sisters. They never liked each other because Rosa was always creating hatred between them which made the sisters never to like each other.
When Tanya got to the age of 15, Kayla was 14 and you will never noticed that fact cause even if Tanya was better than Kayla , Rosa will treat Tanya as a maid in present of other maids. She even went as far as calling Tanya a less privilege in her father's house which made Tanya angry at same time sad but choose to be quiet. Tanya's father William was always at the mountain but has eyes and ears from which he is always updated about the happenings of his family which Rosa never know about. William was calm and never reacted cause he was testing both of his daughters to know who will be able to takeover from him.
There was a incident that happened that left everyone in shock including William her dad. Tanya was at the garden when kayla came looking for her bodyguard so she saw Tanya and felt like troubling her but never knew that Tanya was not in a good mood. Tanya's court maid were looking for her and just noticed that she was in the garden and was about to go meet her when they saw Kayla giving Tanya a dirty slap, they thought that Tanya will not retaliate and truly she did not but her emotions did which left everyone in shock coz only the legendary Lanre was able to fight using his emotions. A maid was forced to ask did her emotion just pushed Kayla and left a scratch on her face.
