Knock knock
Selene was jolted from her thoughts by the sound of someone knocking on her door . She could not stop thinking about what Levina had told her .
Was she really a bad wife to Damon if she had not yet given herself to him .
Knock knock.
Come in . She had completely forgotten that Damon would come to her room .
Are you okay Selene. You look pale. She looked pretty okay when he left her in the hallway.
Unless something happened between her and Levina . He knew the two did not get along but he would prefer for Levina to stop bothering his wife .
He would be a fool to say that he did not see the kind of feelings that Levina had for him . He had long known about it but he just took it lightly knowing that one day she would get over it . Damon thought.
Am fine . It's just the weather that's all . Selene realized that this was the only time she would get to spend with Damon before he gets busy again.
May l sit . Damon asked and looked up to his wife .
Yes you may , Damon's noticed the blush on his wife's face. He really did not need to ask for permission to sit on the bed since it was his bed.
Damon made himself comfortable on the bed and covered himself with a blanket since he had no intentions of sleeping away from his wife tonight.
He had given her enough time to adjust . Damon thought.

Her name came softly and smoothly from Damon's mouth.
Selene was nervous because she had never shared a bed with Damon. She knew the time would come for them to share the same bed but now that they were doing it , she was nervous.
I want to talk about us . Our relationship. Damon began .
Look at me when l talk to you Selene. He used a commanding voice that made her heart skip a beat.
My mother is visiting but believe me when l say she will ask everyone in this house about our relationship.
And she will bug you about having a child with me . Damon began to lovingly caress Selene's hands to ease her tension. He needed to tell her the truth about his mother.
I don't mind what she says but l don't want her to ruin your happiness by forcing you to do anything that you do not want.
So what should we do now. Selene finally spoke up.
It's been a month now since you moved in and l agreed to give you some time to adjust but l guess it's time we get to know each other better.
The way Damon said the last words sent a shiver down Selene's spine . She knew he meant the physical part of knowing each other.
She was very grateful that he never tried to force himself on her but instead gave her all the time in the world to adjust.
Selene felt like beating up all the fools who called her husband a devil . How was this sweet man a devil .

Ohhh the way he called her again. Selene always feels excited when Damon calls her his wife .

Are you sure wife . Damon said kissing the back of her palm and then the center of her palm .
The sensation of his lips on her skin was driving her insane . It was taking every bone in the body not to jerk her hands away .
What she was feeling was strange and foreign and she could not explain.
Come here. Damon gestured towards Selene to come closer to him .
Will l survive this . Selene was not mentally ready for what Damon wanted to do . She moved to where Damon was and he gently pulled her into his chest .
She could hear his heart beats and feel the warmth radiating from his body .
Seconds later , a kiss landed on her forehead.
