Chapter 1 - Second Chance

Liu Fei Yang stood at the edge of his life's abyss, unaware of the astonishing but tragic turn of events that awaited him.

At 17, his life had been a difficult journey of loss, love, and unshakable determination. Every moment leading to this point had shaped him, leaving behind scars he bore with quiet strength.

For three long years, Liu Fei Yang had been out of school, forced to leave due to the tragedy that struck his family. A devastating car accident had claimed the lives of his parents, leaving his younger sister, Liu Yan, in a coma with severe head injuries.

At just 14, he had taken on the role of her protector and sole hope. Though still a teenager himself, he worked grueling hours at low-paying jobs in factories and shops. Despite the calluses on his hands and the aching in his body, he held onto hope, his sister's recovery driving him forward.

Whenever he wasn't working, he escaped into the world of manhuas. He imagined himself as a protagonist, someone who could rewrite his fate and carve a brighter future.

Today, the unthinkable happened. His phone buzzed with news that shattered the monotony of his daily struggles. The doctor's voice trembled with excitement: Liu Yan had woken up.

Joy surged through him, an emotion he hadn't felt in years. Without a second thought, he sprinted through crowded streets, hopped on a bus, and ran again as soon as he got off. His heart pounded with a mix of excitement and relief.

Along with the jobs, he had also been attending a small technical school, hoping to get a real job to support himself and his sister better.

He might have had many dreams as a kid but ever since their parents passed away, his only dream is to live with his sister as a family again.

Even though physical labour at such a young age has caused a huge toll on his body, it was still bearable but what he could not bear was the toll on his heart from the sadness he felt every time he opened the door to his empty house, the regret that trapped his heart whenever he ate his meal alone at the table which reminded of the times with his family which he didn't cherish.

It has been and incredibly lonely and depressing for him all this time.

As he approached a crosswalk, the signal turned green. Lost in thoughts of reuniting with his sister, he stepped onto the street.

Suddenly, a truck barreled through, ignoring the signal. It slammed into him with devastating force, sending his body flying across the pavement. Pain erupted through him, but it was fleeting. Lying in a growing pool of his blood, Liu Fei Yang knew his end was near.

"Why?" he whispered, tears streaming down his face. " After all i have..... done? I couldn't even see her for one.... last... time. Yan'er… I'm sorry. Live a happy life… without me."

Darkness claimed him.

---

When Liu Fei Yang opened his eyes, he found himself in a place unlike anything he had known.

The space was an endless expanse of pure white, neither warm nor cold. He felt weightless, as though he no longer had a body.

"Where the hell is this place? and where am I?" he murmured, his voice echoing.

"Hello, poor soul," a soft, familiar voice replied. He turned quickly, his heart skipping a beat.

"Yan'er?" he gasped. His sister stood before him, smiling gently. Overcome with emotion, he rushed toward her, but something felt… off.

"I'm not your sister," the figure said, her voice tinged with sadness. "I appear as the one you love most. Your bond with your family is truly remarkable."

Liu Fei Yang froze, confusion clouding his face. "Then… who are you?"

The figure smiled faintly. "You may think of me as an administrator, who sees over the worlds

"Then are you God?" he asked.

"No, I'm not God, though I have some powers.."

"Am I dead?" he asked hesitantly.

The administrator nodded. "Yes, Liu Fei Yang. But your death was a mistake. You were destined for greatness, yet through an error in the threads of fate, your journey ended prematurely."

The words of this unknown figure hit Liu Fei Yang with around the same force as did the truck.

"Y-You are kidding, right?" His voice trembled with confusion and shock.

"It's unfortunate but its true. Sometimes there are conflict between the laws of the world which causes such incidents. Even the world itself can sometimes make mistakes."

Liu Fei Yang's fists clenched. "A mistake? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH? I lost my parents, fought to keep my sister alive, and now I don't even get to see her one last time?"

The administrator's expression softened. "Your anger is justified. That's why I'm here. I want to offer you a second chance."

Liu Fei Yang's eyes widened. "A second chance?"

"You cannot return to your old life," the administrator explained. "But I can send you to another world of your choice with 3 wishes, one where you have live a good life like you were always meant to and more."

He hesitated, his thoughts filled with memories of his sister. "What about Liu Yan? She's all I have left. Take this second chance including all the wishes back if it means she can live a better life."

"There is no need for you give up everything. Your first wish can ensure her recovery and happiness," the administrator offered. "She will live a full life, cared for by a loving family. I'll even let you see her one last time."

A screen appeared beside them, showing Liu Yan laughing with a new family. Tears streamed down Liu Fei Yang's face as he watched her happiness. "Thank you," he whispered. "If she's safe, I can let go."

"Because of your selflessness, I won't count this as one of your wishes," the administrator said. "You have three more. Choose wisely."

Liu Fei Yang thought carefully. His mind wandered to the worlds of manhuas he loved, full of adventure and power. "I want to transmigrate to the Martial Peak world," he said. "With powers like Ichigo Kurosaki and the ocular abilities of the Otsutsuki bloodline. Also, I'd like a system to guide me."

The administrator considered his request. "Those powers are not fully compatible with world of Martial Peak. However, I can modify them. Your Zanpakuto will balance Yin and Yang energies like Ichigo's zanpakuto as well as other abilities to enhance your cultivation and ocular powers suited for the world. The system will assist you in ways that does not damage the balance of the world too much. Does that work for you?"

"Yes, I am satisfied." Liu Fei Yang said, excitement growing.

"Then, I wish you luck, Liu Fei Yang" everything slowly went blank as Liu Feiyang heard those last words.

"I really hope this one can be worthy of master's legacy."
