Chapter 32 - Chapter 32

Tea stopped in front of a store to buy clothes, "You refused to wear my jacket, so at least accept this dress," Samuel spoke. I looked at him angrily. If I hadn't found Alexander's phone turned off, I wouldn't have accepted his offer to go to this store.

"You are beautiful and you deserve better than Alexander," I pulled the collar of his shirt and said to him, "What makes me put up with your foolishness and nonsense is the information you have about my father. Otherwise, believe me, I will become your worst nightmare," I said to him in a sharp tone, his facial features changed, as I let go of his collar and walked out of the store, while he followed me.

I came across several journalists who had started taking lots of pictures, "Miss Teal Evik are you really dating the famous billionaire Samuel?"

I stared at him thinking, 'Is he behind this drama to arrange this scoop? I don't trust him anymore, damn him he's using me as a pawn,'

I thought to myself after she made her way to me without making any statement.

From Alexander's point of view:

"Alexander I know for sure that you've started messing with Ork, do you want to drag our mafia into an open-front war?"

I don't remember giving the order to mess with Ork yet, I was so shocked that I didn't react properly, what is this uncle talking about, has he lost his mind?

"The enmity with Orc is eternal, who recently joined the list," I spoke in a sleepy voice, even though it was a peaceful night I felt sleepy, that reaction of Teel's was cute, the sound of my uncle's hand hitting the table woke me up from my slumber.

"I'm talking about Samuel and his family, you can't just suddenly sabotage my projects based on a baseless relationship, we both know very well why I married Teel in the first place,"

I hate it when he speaks in that arrogant tone, I know exactly what he's getting at, "Her father is the former mafia boss of the Orc men…"

I quickly got up from my chair, approached him and said, "Didn't you promise me that you'll overlook all of my actions for the next three years,"

I threw the black bag in front of him, it had a number of files and papers, "It's about your new job at the university,"

I adjusted my suit, I don't do anything without having a thousand and one plans for my next move.

I sat in the car after buying myself another phone, I had returned to the university, Max told me that Teel wanted to talk to me, it's true that she wanted to talk about something regarding Samuel.

I was busy with some professors and researchers in particular and my uncle Edward had attended with me, this attendance had caused a huge uproar, I left him and headed to the hall, everything was in place, except for everyone's glances that every now and then stole at Teal, 'Wait did she change her dress,' I thought before I started narrating the lecture, that young man Samuel was sitting in the back seat, my glances and facial features were still the same, they hadn't changed.

"Does anyone have any questions about the previous lecture," I asked while checking my other phone's mail, there were a number of videos sent to me by my other assistants.

It's Teal with Samuel, she doesn't kiss him, does she? Of course she won't kiss him, she's my wife, but does she love me, I felt my veins burning with anger at the thought that this man had taken advantage of her, I warned her about him, he's a manipulative person, she can't trust him.

When I didn't get any response from the students, I rushed outside, feeling so upset that the ground couldn't hold me, as if I was going to kill him and drink his blood, "Teal is mine alone," I sent her a message to come and meet me immediately.

...

From Teal's perspective:

"Wait, I need your contact info to add you to our class chat," one of the girls from our hall said, breaking the silence. I was about to leave; the day had been exhausting, and my nerves were frayed.

"Okay, just a minute," I replied, pulling out my phone. That's when I saw Alexander's message. My body shivered. I had to leave immediately; I wasn't sure what he was capable of. I ignored the poor girl calling out to me.

I rushed downstairs to the intersection, where Alexander's car reappeared. My heart pounded, and my palms sweated. I had avoided his gaze during class; he seemed colder and more austere.

Within three minutes, a yellow Limousine stopped in front of me. Malika stepped out with her friends and some boys. "Who's the beauty waiting for?" one of them asked.

Malika whispered, "Hey, darling, Samuel won't date someone like you." She fanned herself, tapping my shoulder. I rolled my eyes, annoyed.

"Don't even think about Samuel; you'll be the sole of my shoe," she hissed, grasping my neck tightly. I twisted her arm, forcing her to kneel. "You're messing with the wrong person; no games." The boys backed off, intimidated.

"Let go!" Malika shrieked. I released her, noticing the commotion.

A shadow loomed behind me – Max. "Ma'am, Mr. Alexander requests your immediate presence," he said calmly.

I gazed down the road, responding to my mom's belated texts. "Mom, I was worried. Why'd you ignore my calls?" I sent voice messages, slowly turning my neck as Samita opened the door.

Inside, I ended the call and tossed my phone onto the bed. A strong presence sat behind me – Alexander.

"Sit," he commanded, his voice firm, gesturing to his thigh. His gaze dared me to defy him. I approached, executing his demand. His warm breath whispered against my neck: "Whose wife are you, Teal?" This time, his touch held a hint of force.
