The morning classes nearly sent Akira into a deep sleep, but he was finally jolted awake by the bell signaling the last class before lunch.
His heavy eyelids were finally lifted.
"It's still the same old hypnosis!" Akira yawned, rubbing his eyes.
He had thought that after coming to this world, that sensation would be gone for good, but to his surprise, it started again the very next day.
However, Akira didn't exactly dislike this feeling—he even missed it a bit.
Before his transmigration, when he left school, he never imagined he'd return to the classroom. Although this was a campus in a superhuman society, the feeling was oddly familiar.
Soon, it was time for lunch, and Akira made his way to the cafeteria at U.A., where he could enjoy affordable yet high-quality meals. After finishing his meal, he sat alone at an empty table.
A moment later, Midoriya Izuku appeared and sat beside him, holding a tray of food.
"This afternoon is the Hero(es) Basics class I'm looking forward to," Midoriya Izuku said excitedly.
"Isn't it going to be as boring as yesterday?" Akira replied casually.
"Of course not! Yesterday was just for the teacher to assess how well we know our Quirks," Midoriya Izuku explained eagerly.
"I see, that's not bad," Akira said with a nod.
"By the way, are you still training?" Midoriya Izuku asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Huh?" Akira turned to look at him.
"You're a genius," Midoriya Izuku said with admiration. "Of course, geniuses work hard too, right?"
Akira smiled but didn't respond in the way Izuku expected. He spent nearly half of his time training, ever since he gained the Sand Sand Fruit. But compared to Izuku, who worked tirelessly, Akira worked even harder.
"Of course, geniuses work hard," Akira said lightly, not elaborating further. "But you should do your best too."

The afternoon came quickly, and the Hero(es) Basics class was about to begin.
"Tap, tap, tap!" The sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the hallway outside the classroom. Then, with a sudden "click," the door swung open, and All Might entered with his usual broad smile.
"I'm here, I walked in through the door very normally!" All Might boomed, striking a dramatic pose as he entered the classroom.
The students of Class 1-A couldn't help but react with excitement.
"It's... it's All Might!" one of them exclaimed.
"He's really a teacher at U.A.!" another added in awe.
"That costume! It's from the Silver Age of American comics!" one student gushed.
"He's so cool!" said another, clearly impressed.
The exaggerated way All Might walked to the podium in slow motion, coupled with his over-the-top costume, made Akira comment dryly, "I also... got goosebumps."
All Might reached the podium, hands on his hips, and declared, "The course I'm responsible for is Hero(es) Basics. This is a class that builds the foundation of being a Hero, including various training sessions. It's also the class with the most credits." He paused before adding, "And now, without further ado, let's get started. Combat training."
The moment Bakugo Katsuki heard those words, his eyes lit up, and he jumped to his feet, grinning wildly.
"Combat?" Bakugo's grin widened, and he cast a glance at Akira.
"That's right!" All Might said, pointing toward the wall. "Look here, everyone!"
With a mechanical whir, the wall opened up to reveal a series of battle suits, each labeled with a number corresponding to the students.
"This is a customized battle suit based on the Quirks you submitted and your individual needs."
"But Akira-kun," All Might added, glancing at Akira, "you didn't submit a Quirk report. Why is that?"
Akira paused, then replied, "My Quirk is a bit special. The battle suits can't assist me, so customizing one would just make me uncomfortable."
All Might fell silent for a moment, processing Akira's explanation. Finally, he nodded, understanding. "I see, I understand. Alright then."
He turned to the rest of the class. "Now, everyone, change into your battle suits and meet at Playground B."
Akira didn't need a battle suit, so he threw on a simple sports uniform and followed All Might to the arena.
After waiting about 10 minutes, the students began to emerge from the hallway, each in their respective battle gear.
Akira couldn't hold back his laughter when he saw the various costumes. If not for his strength, he would've been the target of a lot of ridicule.
"Alright, alright, Akira-kun, be polite to your classmates," All Might said, trying to suppress his own laughter.
Akira managed to stifle his amusement and nodded. "Okay, okay."
"Not bad. Everyone looks very handsome," All Might continued, though it was clear he was also holding back laughter, influenced by Akira's own mirth.
The students all gave him a skeptical look.
"Ahem!" All Might cleared his throat. "Is everyone ready?"
They exchanged looks, and in unison, they replied, "We're here!"
Just as they finished speaking, Midoriya Izuku came rushing from the hallway, breathless.
"Sorry, I'm late!" he called out.
Akira couldn't help himself and burst into laughter again. Midoriya Izuku's battle suit looked more like a cosplay costume than anything else.
Even All Might, unable to hold it in any longer, quickly raised a hand to cover his mouth, trying to stifle his laughter.
Midoriya Izuku's outfit was so plainly based on his general appearance that it was almost too easy to recognize.
"It's so easy to understand!" Akira said, laughing harder.
