Hearing this, Tada's father frowned, his expression stern. It was one thing to confront someone and demand an explanation, but threatening to kill Kitagawa Akira felt excessive, even absurd.
More importantly, Akira wasn't just any ordinary boy. His parents were professional Heroes, and he was an apprentice to All Might himself. Any harm to him would invite trouble of unimaginable proportions.
"You must not go this far. I believe we can just write this off as a misunderstanding," Tada's father said firmly.
"Write it off? With what exactly?" the woman snapped back, her tone icy.
"For years, Tada bullied Akira relentlessly. You remember how the old man came by frequently to complain about it. And today, it's the same story. Tada caused trouble again, and Akira simply retaliated. The fault isn't Akira's," Tada's father said, trying to remain composed.
Hearing this, Tada's face turned pale as his father shifted the blame squarely onto him. He quickly blurted, "Dad… Dad, I was wrong! I'll stay out of trouble! I'll keep to myself!"
"Shut up!" his mother barked, glaring at him.
Turning back to her husband, she pressed, "So, you're just going to let this go? Let them humiliate our family?"
"Yes," Tada's father replied, unwavering.
The woman's fury erupted. "You'd let our family lose face? Our son was made to kneel! I won't let this slide. I'm not asking for his death, but I want Akira's legs broken. If he's so bold, let's see how he walks then!"
Tada's father sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. "I think you've lost your mind."
"No, you've lost yours!" the woman countered angrily. "Tada's behavior is a product of your indulgence. Your so-called 'family rules' have twisted him into what he is now. Do you even realize that?"
"You can destroy one child with your madness, but are you so eager to destroy this family too?" Tada's father retorted, his voice rising.
Undeterred, the woman grabbed Tada's arm. "If you're too scared to act, fine. But I'm not. Tada, let's go."
With that, she stormed off with Tada in tow.
Tada's father simply sank into the sofa, letting them go. As much as he wanted to prevent this madness, he had grown weary of fighting battles he felt were already lost.

At Akira's Side
Kyoko Sato had taken Akira to their childhood hideout—a "secret base" where they used to play when they were kids. However, it had changed drastically over the years.
The once-clear area was now overrun with weeds, and the wooden house they had built to escape Akira's grandfather's wrath had collapsed into a pile of rotting wood.
"This is the place you wanted to show me?" Akira asked, raising an eyebrow as he surveyed the overgrown area.
"Don't you remember it?" Kyoko asked with a teasing smile.
Akira rolled his eyes. "Of course I do. My memory isn't that bad."
"I thought you might've forgotten, seeing how it looks now," Kyoko said with a chuckle.
Akira smirked. "Forget this place? I practically lived here to avoid my grandfather when I messed up as a kid."
"Yes! I still remember how he'd go looking for you, furious. He always found you hiding here," Kyoko said, laughing at the memory.
Akira joined in her laughter. After cleaning up the area a bit, they sat on the remains of the wooden structure, reminiscing about their childhood adventures.

Trouble Arrives
An hour had passed when a cold, mocking voice called out from behind them.
"Mom! He's right here!"
Akira turned to see Tada standing there, smug and emboldened, with his mother by his side.
"So, you're back already? Did you forget what happened this morning?" Akira asked flatly, his eyes narrowing.
Tada grinned maliciously. With his mother present, he was full of confidence. "My mom said she'd break your legs. Let's see you act tough now."
Akira scoffed. "Oh, so you can't fight your battles and have to bring your mom? Pathetic."
Kyoko stepped forward, trying to mediate. "Auntie, this morning Tada attacked Akira first. He was just—"
Akira stopped her, raising a hand. "Kyoko, reasoning with people like this is pointless. If they cared about fairness, they wouldn't be here in the first place."
Turning to Tada's mother, Akira's voice turned cold. "So, what do you want?"
"I want you to pay for humiliating my son," the woman said. "You have two choices: break your own legs or let me do it for you."
"And what if I choose neither?" Akira challenged.
"Then I'll decide for you!" she snapped.
With a wave of her hand, an invisible force surged toward Akira and Kyoko. Though unseen to most, Akira could feel its presence as it hurtled toward them.
"Move!" Akira yelled, grabbing Kyoko and leaping to the side just in time to avoid the attack.
The woman's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "What… how did you dodge that?"
Kyoko, shaken, turned to Akira. "What just happened? What was that?"
"She's using some sort of psychic Quirk," Akira said grimly. "It's an attack that can't normally be seen. But…"
He paused, his gaze sharpening. "...I can see it."
The woman's Quirk, *Peepers*, allowed her to launch psychic attacks invisible to most. However, Akira's sharp senses, bolstered by his Conqueror's Haki, revealed their presence.
"Psychic attacks?" Kyoko murmured, still processing.
"Exactly," Akira confirmed. "But they won't work if your mental strength is stronger than hers."
The woman sneered. "You're clever, I'll give you that. But cleverness won't save you from what's coming next."
Akira's lips curled into a smirk. "Bring it on."
