Ricardo sits relaxed on his sofa in his office at Elmer Group. From morning to evening, he as CEO, from evening to night sells chicken sempol while inspecting the company's business units.
In his hands, he currently held two frames containing newly printed photos. He seemed to smile looking at the photo which was of him holding Bella and Wyne.
Before leaving GE Hospital, he asked Wyne to take a picture with him and Bella. He wanted to have a souvenir with the two women who had captivated his heart.
Wyne, to appreciate the CEO's sincerity, fulfilled the request, on the condition that the photo was only for Ricardo, not uploaded to the timeline. The young master agreed and then asked Matt to take a picture. In the first photo, the three of them were standing in front of the chicken sempol motorbike cart. In the second photo, they were sitting on the motorbike saddle with Bella in front, Ricardo in the middle and Wyne behind.
Matt smiled with emotion, as if he were seeing a harmonious underprivileged family.
Last night upon arriving at Gordon's luxurious house, Ricardo immediately printed the two photos and in the morning before going to Elmer Group, he stopped by a frame seller's shop and bought two beautiful frames for the two photos.
Now he looked at the photos alternately with a smiling face, looking happy. Unexpectedly, because of Wyne's incident being dumped by Arifin, he was struck by love at first sight for Bella's mother. He even fell in love with the adorable Bella.
Knock, knock!!
Matt knocked on the wide-open workroom door.
"Come in, Matt!" Ricardo already knew the sound of Matt knocking on the door, telling the assistant to come in and meet him.
Matt came in and approached while holding several folders.
"What report did you bring?" the CEO asked immediately, without turning his eyes to Matt. He was content to stare at Wyne and Bella's beautiful faces.
"Sir-" Matt spoke, "I'm sorry, I couldn't get any information about who Mrs. Wina David is."
Hearing this, Ricardo turned his eyes to Matt.
"I'm sorry, sir-" Matt took a deep breath, "None of the guards at the house knew Wina David. They just said the house belonged to Mrs. Kate Wilson."
"Kate Wilson?" Ricardo called out the name, "Kate Wilson, Kate Wilson." While thinking, "Is Kate Wilson the wife of the late Carter Wilson, Opa's best friend?"
"It's not clear about that, sir." Matt sighed again, "The guards only said the house belongs to Kate Wilson. Then, the name Kate Wilson is a common name for many women in this world."
"Yes, that's true." Ricardo understood, "It's strange, last night Wina went to that house, but the guard said he didn't know Wina David."
"Sir, I think, madam's identity is kept secret."
"Indeed." Ricardo sighed, "So, have you investigated who the cluster house belongs to?" The conversation was changed.
Matt took a file folder from his hand and placed it on the table.
"Please, sir, look at the files in the folder."
Ricardo took a folder from the table, took out an important document and studied it for a moment, then looked at Matt.
"From Mr. Danu-" Matt spoke, "The house was purchased by Ms. Wyne Wilson, CEO of Wilson Group, for Mr. Arifin Cahyadi." He began to explain the document Ricardo was reading, "As a gift for Mr. Arifin Cahyadi's graduation from Dallas University in England. Mr. Arifin Cahyadi successfully earned a master's degree in marketing research."
Ricardo listened to this explanation, then, "Wina's husband studied at Dallas University in England?"
"Yes, sir." Matt nodded, then handed him another folder, "Sir, this is a copy of the file regarding his studies at Dallas University in England."
Ricardo took the folder from Matt's hand, and read the files in the folder for a moment. Only after that, threw it on the table with an annoyed face.
"What a bastard master's degree!" from his mouth came out a curse, "Abandoning his wife and child for a night woman!" he remembered seeing Susan with Arifin and had a strong feeling that Susan was a night butterfly.
Matt sighed, he had the same feeling when he saw Susan.
"You-" Ricardo's voice was heard reprimanding Matt, "Why did the Wilson Group give such a luxurious gift to a bastard?" he called Arifin bastard.
"Because Wilson Group gave a scholarship to Mr. Arifin to study for a master's degree in England."
"Giving scholarships to asshole students?"
"Sir, what a big company like Wilson Group values is academic achievement."
"Indeed!" Ricardo snorted in annoyance, "You continue reporting on that house."
"Sir, the house certificate is still in the process of being made at the BPN Jakarta."
"Made in whose name?"
"Mr. Arifin, sir."
Ricardo sighed, then took his cell phone out of his trouser pocket, then dialed someone's number for a video call.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Wilson." It didn't take long to greet Kate who appeared on the phone screen at this time.
"Good afternoon, Ricardo." Kate replied politely, "Hi, I've told you many times," the grandmother sighed, "Don't call me Mrs. Wilson, because you are the grandson of Gordon, my husband's best friend, and have known me for a very long time."
"Hehehe-" Ricardo chuckled, "Okay, Oma, okay." He knew what Kate meant. The lady didn't want to be called Mrs. Wilson, but Oma. Because Gordon had told Kate to call Oma and Opa to Carter.
"Good boy-" Kate smiled, "How are you and Gordon?"
"We're fine and Opa is still in LA."
"I'm grateful."
"Oma, sorry, can Rick meet Oma at the Wilson Group today?"
"What about now, because after lunch, Oma and Wyne have to go to Pelabuhan Ratu to inspect the goods ordered by Wilson Group."
"Wyne has returned from England, Oma?" Ricardo was surprised to hear that Kate was going to Pelabuhan Ratu with Wyne. From Gordon, he learned that Wyne was flying to England to continue his studies.
Wyne did continue his studies, besides accompanying Arifin. But Arifin never knew that Wyne was attending Dallas University. Then that was the reason Kate used to cancel the matchmaking that she and Gordon did for Wyne and Ricardo.
"Yes, Rick." Kate smiled, "Do you miss her, hmm? That little friend you used to tease when you were kids."
Ricardo gasped, briefly remembering his childhood when he often teased Wyne until Kate's granddaughter was annoyed with him. She even punched him in the face because he put a baby frog into the back of Bella's mother's shirt. Since then, Ricardo knew that Wyne was fierce, but he still teased her.
Kate saw the CEO's gesture and smiled in amusement, "Okay, okay-" she chuckled, "You can meet her later when you meet Oma."
Ricardo swallowed his saliva, then grinned, "Okay, Oma." He said, accepting Kate's explanation, "Rick, go now, so we can chat in Oma's office soon."

Kate looked at Wyne in surprise, because her granddaughter said goodbye because she was going to have lunch outside with Bella, then had other business so she couldn't accompany her to Pelabuhan Ratu, to check on the goods for building the second ring oil refinery in Cilacap.
"Oma-" Wyne reprimanded her grandmother, "After that, Wyn followed you to Pelabuhan Ratu," she promised to follow his grandmother.
Kate just sighed, actually wanting Wyne to meet Ricardo who was on the way to the Wilson Group, so she could make her granddaughter meet the CEO again.
Wyne last met Ricardo at Carter's funeral in Los Angeles, then his granddaughter flew to England to continue his high school studies. Meanwhile, Ricardo, who is five years older than his granddaughter, flew to Washington to continue his undergraduate studies there.
Then five years ago, when Wyne graduated from Dallas University Jakarta and Ricardo graduated from Los Angeles, Gordon asked Kate to realize the agreement between the man and the late Carter to match the two grandchildren in marriage. But it failed because Wyne fell in love with Arifin and flew to England, while Ricardo married Isala in LA.
So, now, Wyne was dumped by Arifin, Ricardo was divorced by Isala, and Kate thought of matching the two of them again. So when Ricardo said he wanted to meet her today at Wilson Group, she wanted the CEO to meet Wyne. Hoping that the two humans would be friends again and Wyne could know that Ricardo was no longer a naughty boy.
"Wyn-" Kate spoke, "Can you have lunch with Oma here?" looking at her granddaughter, "Oma wants to have lunch with you." She wanted to say that Ricardo would come soon, but if she got to the point, her granddaughter would refuse.
For some reason, Wyne didn't like Ricardo because of the man's mischief when they were children. Even though the CEO only wanted them to be good friends, he did it the wrong way. The man was annoyed because Wyne sat reading a book next to Carter. Sometimes doing that on a park bench. Talking to him, ignoring him. Asking him to walk, being pushed aside. So then the young master played a prank so that Wyne would know he wanted to be friends.
But what a shame, the mission was not completed, Wyne considered him naughty and annoying. Carter's granddaughter does not want to meet him until now. He became disgusted with Wyne, thinking Wyne was a stiff and arrogant woman. Even though Gordon said Wyne was soft-hearted, sweet, and sincere. Then the grandfather said, Wyne idolized Carter's figure who treated women sweetly, not bullied.
While Ricardo has a free nature like the late Aldiano Elmer, the CEO's father who is Gordon's only son. Aldiano is also a bit wild, to the point but knows how to protect his beloved woman very well. A nature that is the opposite of Wyne, but that doesn't mean they can't be together. Men with a nature like Ricardo usually end up with women like Wyne.
"Sorry, Oma-" Wyne sighed, "Wyn promised Bella to eat at the Martabak Mesir Restaurant in Tanah Abang because before we went to Jakarta, Wyn told her about the martabak there and would take her to eat there."
Kate listened, Wyne did tell Bella about some delicious cuisine in Jakarta and promised to eat it so that later the great-grandchild would get used to typical Indonesian food. All this because Arifin was sure that if he got the position of marketing research director at Elmer Group Jakarta, he would settle in Jakarta. Wyne and Bella of course followed the man.
"You-" Kate looked at Wyne, "Did you decide to stay in Jakarta, even though Arifin dumped you?"
"Yes, Oma." Wyne nodded, "Yesterday, Oma asked Wyn not to fly again, right?"
Kate smiled, "Okay-" she gave in, after all, there was still plenty of time to introduce her grandson to Ricardo because Gordon's grandson lives in Jakarta. "Let's have lunch together tomorrow."
