In the weight room, Josh is lifting weights while Trisha is on the treadmill are seen spotting each other while lifting weights. Dominic is punching a punching bag. Eva and Arianna are doing their curl ups and sit ups. Trisha is giving a disappointed look as she joins the woman in sits ups and curls. Charles is hanging upside down while lifting himself in the air.
Arianna: You all right, love? You look like you've got a sad face.
Trisha: Not sad....just disappointed.
Eva: Hey, Trisha, do not worry, honey. My father isn't upset with you. No one is.....Everyone has destroyed the Grid in their first test as well.
Dominic: but that was a very big blast, man. What did you do?
Trisha: To be honest, I have no friggin clue I could do that!
Josh: Well, at least now we can definitely have our light show. (laughs)
Trisha gives a look.
Josh: I'm not making fun of you.
Trisha: I tried to apologize to Mr. Parker for all the damage I did.
Josh: Hey, Trisha. All seriousness; don't feel too bad. Like Eva said, we've all destroyed the Grid in some worst manner....shit, you should've seen what Dominic and I did.
Dominic: Hey! I bet Parker was much worse than mine!
James walks in.
James: Oh, he was.
Dominic: I knew it! See; he's the one with laser beam energy, superstrength and flight! He's bound to put a dent in the Grid more than all of us!
James: (laughs) I won't confirm or deny if my Dad has destroyed the Grid once or twice.
Charles: Oh, god....don't remind me....I scratched up the Grid and tore apart a few drones with my first time. Anyways, least this gives me an excuse to replace the projector inducers and realign the holographic image projections.
Josh walks over to Trisha, who is still disappointed in herself.
Josh: Hey, Trisha.....don't feel too down, okay? We've all been through this.
Trisha: What if I never learn to control my powers?
Josh: Dude, that's crazy. Of course, you can. You simply need to preserve your training.
Trisha: These powers I have. They sure as hell scare me.
Josh: Every Super has felt that way initially. Some of us are still struggling to control them.
Trisha: Don't kid me. I can see it's all a cake walk for all you guys. You guys don't have any problems.
A moment as the team remains silent for a moment.
Trisha: Oh, uh....
James: I beg to differ. We've all had our mishaps.
Trisha: Well.....what'd you all do?
James: (sighs)
Trisha: Seriously?
James: When I was a kid, I was bullied.....I just was so angry at my bully.....I was pushed....I disfigured my bully with my powers.....destroyed half my school....after that, I felt guilty....I ran.....I ran away from home....was homeless for a while...but then my Dad gave me a chance.
Dominic: I..uh....I...when I was a junkie.....I was basically a wreck....after my parents died, I was sent to a foster home. It was crap so I...uh...took off with my brother....we looked after each other....My brother was my best friend....these human dealers came after us....and my powers came in....I just went ballistic....I ended up killing them....and I stabbed him with a smoke blade by accident.....
Trisha: I-Jesus, Dominic....I'm so sorry.
Dominic: Parker found me
Charles: I was born like this....branded a freak of nature....then there's John.
Trisha: What about Mr. Parker?
Charles: Uh.....James? Eva?
James: It's okay. I'll explain. My Dad killed an human terrorist because he killed our mom.
Trisha: My God.....what?
James: My Dad..... It was the last time he killed; it's one of the reasons why he instructs the Supers not to kill....so he doesn't have to again.
Trisha: My God.....that's so horrible. I'm truly sorry for your family.
James leaves the gym.
Trisha: Must've been hard for you guys....
Later, Trisha is drawing in her notepad with Josh and Dominic sitting in the dayroom, before she notices The Owl and Dragonfly taking the Eagle jet soaring off into the sky.
Trisha: Hey, are the Supers always jetting off to stop trouble?
Dominic: No, but there are times when trouble seeks us out, right here at the tower.
Trisha: So it's just tending that you guys run into trouble?
Dominic: Dude, we're not the Avengers or the X-men. The last thing you'd expect is a dude with metal claws or a scientist that turns into a big raging green beast. Hey, I heard the story of the Brute, Mammoth paid the Supers Alpha a visit...it was less sociable.
Trisha: What happened?
Josh: Let's just say; it was more than a five-minute redecoration of the house....
Trisha: Dang!
Josh: Hey, Trisha....do you want to see something?
Trisha: Sure...
Later, during the sunset, Josh and Trisha are watching the sunset on the roof of Parker Tower.
Trisha: Wow.....back home, I don't even have a view like this of the sun going down.
Josh: Where did you say you were from?
Trisha: Owego....It's a little small town a few miles from New York.....
Josh: You were originally born from there?
Trisha: Uh...yeah.....it's me, my sister and Dad....both of them are Sheriffs.
Josh: what about your Mom?
A moment as Josh indicates Trisha's mother is gone.
Josh: Oh.....I'm sorry.
Trisha: I miss her.....a lot...
Josh: If you don't mind my asking, what happened?
Trisha: Car crash. Drunk driver collided with her....(presenting tattoo of crane of her back) She was a fan of cranes.
Josh: Wow...you're tatted, too, huh?
Josh presents a tattoo of an eagle on his back.
Trisha: Damn.
Josh: What about art? It's just Eva said you like to draw a lot..
Trisha: Uh...yeah...I started off when I was about eight....and I've been going at it ever since. I guess art is a way to tell poetry....a story....my story I guess....(presenting neon powers in her hand) these powers.....they sure are weird.....I still can't believe this...
Josh: They're a gift.....it's a gift....not a curse.....
Trisha: What about you? Do you have any family?
Josh: (laughs) my parents and I.....we really don't talk much after they discovered I'm an Enhuman.....Dad said "a freak has no place in his family"...I was fortunately caught by W.R.E.X and taken to a facility where Enhumans were nothing but lab rats.
Trisha: My god....I-I'm sorry.....I can't imagine what that was like...
Josh: My mom passed too.....my dad a year after....It's just me now....
Trisha: That's not true....I mean you have friends.....you have a family here....
Josh: Yeah, I do...you likin it so far?
Trisha: Being an Enhuman? I don't know, but it gave me the chance to meet some great people.
Josh: Am I one of those great people?
Trisha: More or less. (laughs)
Josh and Trisha smile at each other. Meanwhile, John is using the Chronicle and notices something that horrifies him.
John: No...
In the war room, Dragonfly, Quantum, Sun Sorceress, Mother Nature, Power Surge, Ember, The Owl and Trisha are attending a meeting.
Power Surge: What's up, boss? You sounded worried.
Quantum: And I am....but with the help of the Chronicle, I believe I've determined where the Purifiers will strike next.
Dragonfly: Is this the location Scarlett was so interested in?
Quantum: Yes, son and that location is the U.S.S Raven.
The Owl: Isn't that the new submersible aircraft carrier?
Quantum: Indeed. The coordinates are being uploaded now. You must get there....for what the ship holds....could mean all-out war between humanity and the Enhumans....
Mother Nature: (quietly) John, you don't suppose the Raven is where they're keeping-
Quantum: Arianna, I pray that it is not, but you must proceed there immediately and stop our foes before they achieve their goal.
Ember: Don't worry, Doc. We'll stop them all dead in their tracks. Well, not dead, but stunned in their tracks.
Power Surge: Yeah, I think we get it, dude.
Quantum: I have the upmost confidence you will, Donald. Good luck team.
The Supers leave as Trisha and John remain for a moment.
Trisha: Mr. Parker, what's so dangerous that's on the U.S.S Raven?
A moment.
John: In 1998, the Supers Alpha were a team of just three. Myself...the Gold Spectra.....and Genesis....who was my closest friend....during a mission, we found something....it was called the Xenon Crystal....it had the means to destroy humanity....Genesis....who had a deep hateful grudge against humanity for the murder of his wife sought to take it and use its power...but the rest of us would not...I stopped Genesis and hide the Xenon Crystal....Genesis was trapped in a cocoon stasis...I heard the humans may have found his cocooned body....if they have and if he is awakened, it will mean humanity will be in grave danger...
The Eagle is flying in the sky with Ember and Power Surge piloting. Quantum, Sun Sorceress, Mother Nature, are as passengers and Dragonfly and the Owl flying in the sky.
Dragonfly: Charles, I'm tracking the U.S.S Raven on my hub now....looks like the Purifiers are really starting to tear up the place.
The Owl: I see it. You got that, Josh?
Power Surge: Got it, Charlie.....I see the ship on the GPS, taking her in now.
The Eagle swoops down from the sky as it flies near the burning U.S.S Aircraft on the sea.
Power Surge: My god.....
Sonic: Josh, land us on the helipad.
The Eagle lands on the helipad while inside the team puts their mask back on. Dragonfly and the Owl land hard on the ships surface while the rest of the team exits from the hatch, before they notice many crewmen running from the fires or trying to put out separate fires.
Quantum: We have to stop this, but the safety of the Raven crew is our main priority.
Dragonfly: (looking inside helmet computer and scanning the crew) Quantum, I'm seeing that half the crew will see us as enemies to their levels of stress and fear. We should keep our guard up.
The team walks up to the crewman trying to put out the fires.
Sun Sorceress: Excuse me, sir?
The crewman turns around.
Crewman: Ah! Who are you?!
Sun Sorceress: Relax, it's okay. We're not here to hurt you.
Dragonfly uses his ice suppressors on his suit to take out the fires while The Owl flaps his wings to create powerful to die the fires down and Ember uses a smoke cloud to contain the fires as the crewmen of the U.S.S Raven stares at this with amazed looks. Mother Nature uses her powers to control the water as she uses the water to put out the fire, before Quantum creates an energetic clap with his powers to take out the fires.
Crewman: Oh, my god. You're Enhumans!
Sun Sorceress: Yes, but we're not here to hurt you. We're here to help. Can you tell us what happened?
Crewman: Okay.....there was another group of Enhumans. It happened so fast. They just attacked us out of the blue.
Sun Sorceress: What did they look like?
Crewman: Uh....red samurai lookin dude....a kid with a red hat and jacket....and a woman with pink hair....she had some kind of energy blade.
Quantum: No doubt the Purifiers....
Dragonfly: (taping on his wrist computer) I'm tracking them now...and they're still on the ship!
Quantum: What's your name, soldier?
Crewman: It's Private Greg Neville, sir.
Quantum: Neville, who's the captain of the Raven?
Crewman: That would be Captain Hoover, sir!
The Owl: We have to get down there and stop them from---
Suddenly, an explosion knocks away the crewman over by the metal containers, separating Quantum, Sun Sorceress, Dragonfly, and Ember from The Owl, Mother Nature and Power Surge.
Dragonfly: Damn! You guys alright?!
The Owl: Yeah, we're good!
The fire on the ship begins to spread.
Power Surge: These fires are going crazy, man! We have to contain this!
Quantum: Go! Find the Captain!
Mother Nature: We got this!
Quantum, Dragonfly, Sun Sorceress and Power Surge disperse from the group as The Owl, Ember and Mother Nature attempt to contain the fires from spreading. Sonic, Dragonfly, Power Surge and Sun Sorceress continue walking through the deck, until two soldiers pop up from cover with their weapons aimed at them.
U.S.S Raven Soldier: Freeze, freaks! Get your hands in the air! All of you!
Dragonfly: (looking at the computer inside his helmet) U.S.S Raven Soldiers. Great.
Sun Sorceress: Please, be calm. We're not with the Enhumans that atta-
One of the soldier's fires as the bullets deflects off of an sun shield developed by Sun Sorceress.
Power Surge: Really?
The Owl swoops in and screeches a sonic blast that temporarily deafens the soldiers uses his powers as Power Surge punches the floor, creating a blast of electricity at the soldier, knocking him into the wall and unconscious. The other soldier begins to shake as he drops his rifle and runs away.
Quantum: Nice....
The Owl: Well, teamwork is the most essential thing right now.
Dragonfly: and to be fair, he did fire on us.
Quantum: Still. We want them to know we're here to help, not finish what the Purifiers started....
Sun Sorceress: Let's keep moving. The crew needs us and the ship won't last much longer.
The team continues as Sonic stares at Sun Sorceress.
Quantum: When did you become the leader?
The team travels to the flight deck as Red Dragon, drops down in front of them.
Dragonfly: Red Dragon!
Red Dragon stands up and laughs.
Red Dragon: It's a shame that you human lovers won't be able to save this ship.
Quantum laser blasts at Red Dragon, who blocks the beam with his sword, before Dragonfly flies at him and engages Red Dragon in martial arts combat.
Dragonfly: Go! I got this!
The rest of the team runs off while Dragonfly punches and roundhouse kicks Red Dragon, before Red Dragon blocks a strike with his sword. Red Dragon then powers up his hand and punches Dragonfly, who retaliates by activating his boosters and kicking Red Dragon in the chest. Meanwhile, the team runs through the ship until they run into a group of soldiers carrying regular or electric staffs.
Quantum: These humans are persistent.
The team and the soldiers begin fighting as Quantum dodges the soldier's attacks. Quantum punches one soldier and backhands another. Power Surge is using his bolt speed to knock down several soldiers, before shooting a electric bolt to stun a few soldiers. The Owl uses his sonic screech and flight to counter attack several soldiers. Sun Sorceress is using her sun rays to knock down a few soldiers, before she blasts away another group of soldiers. She then roundhouse kicks an attacking soldier, before she punches another in the chest. Power Surge knocks out a soldier with one punch, before of the soldiers zaps him with his electric staff as he is temporarily stunned. A soldier then hits Power Surge in the head with the staff, before knocking him into another soldier. With the other soldier restraining him, and the other punching him in the stomach, Power Surge then uses his powers to shock the soldier and knock the soldier out with a punch. Ember appears, using his smoke dash through a vent and overpowers the soldiers, before another soldier attempts to stun Ember with his stun baton. Shadow then turns as the soldier attempts to attack, but Ember maneuvers and begins to use his powers to smother the soldier. After a few tense moments, the soldier begin to suffocate.
Sun Sorceress: Ember, that's enough! Ember!
The Owl: Ember!
Quantum: Ember! Ember! Stand down! Stand the hell down!
Ember continues to smother the soldier, before Power Surge shoots Ember in the back with a electric bolt, temporarily stunning him long enough for the soldier to get free.
The Owl: (to soldier) Go on! Get out of here!
The soldier runs off as Ember stands up.
Ember: What? I was eventually going to let him go!
Power Surge: You were freakin chokin him out, man! What the hell?
Ember: He shot at us!
Sun Sorceress: Still. That doesn't excuse us to harass the humans and remember.....we don't kill.
Ember: Right...
Quantum: Hey, we don't have time to discuss what just happened! We still have people to save! Let's move!
Meanwhile, Red Dragon roundhouses Dragonfly in the chest, before Dragonfly activates his boosters and grabs Red Dragon, leading to a struggle in mid-air. In the battle, Dragonfly overpowers and grabs Red Dragon by the throat.
Dragonfly: Enough, Axel! Tell me what you're planning.
After some tension, Red Dragon equips his fire cannon, before he aims and shoots at the U.S Raven, causing critical damage as the ship starts sinking.
Red Dragon: Ashes! Ashes! The ship falls down!
Red Dragon activates his stunner and shocks Dragonfly, causing him to release Red Dragon, who free falls into the ocean.
Dragonfly: Shit! V.O.X, scan for Axel!
Inside his helmet, V.O.X attempts to scan for Axel, but is unsuccessful.
V.O.X: I'm sorry, sir, but it appears he's has escaped.
Dragonfly: Damn it! All right, forget him! I need to get back to the ship to help the others!
Dragonfly flies towards the U.S.S Raven. Meanwhile, Quantum, Sun Sorceress, Power Surge, The Owl, Mother Nature and Ember are fighting off the soldiers and evacuating the sailors. In the ship quarters where the team is fighting off the soldiers, Dragonfly flies in and begins fighting off soldiers.
Quantum: Well, you took your sweet time, boy!
Dragonfly: What? You looked like you handled it.
Quantum: Where's Red Dragon?
Dragonfly: Escaped!
Dragonfly uses his energized hands to knock out an attacking soldier, only to get his armored hand stuck in the metal wall.
Dragonfly: Crap.
Dragonfly attempts to get his hand out as a soldier with an electric staff sneaks up to him and attempts to stun Dragonfly, but the suit is impervious to electric as the electricity bounces off the suit and shocks the soldier instead, causing him to ground into unconscious. Dragonfly then looks at the unconscious soldier as he gets his hand out of the metal wall.
Dragonfly: Well, then....
In the captain's deck, Captain Hoover is searching his gun for his drawer, before two soldiers enter the room.
U.S.S Raven Soldier # 1: Sir, we have some Enhumans in costumes here trying to help the crew!
Captain Hoover: well, hell, let the freaks try and help, so we can get out of here!
U.S.S Raven Soldier # 2: Sir, what about the prisoner?
Captain Hoover: Leave him! He's too dangerous! If he's off the ship, who knows what could happen.
Suddenly, U.S.S Raven Soldier # 1 is impaled by an energetic blade. U.S.S Raven Soldier # 1 falls dead as Scarlett enters the room.
Scarlett: Evening, boys.
U.S.S Soldier # 2 attempts to shoot Scarlett, who blocks the shot with her energetic blade, before slitting his throat off screen with her blade. Captain Hoover turns his head.
Captain Hoover: What the hell?!
Hoover tries to shoot at Scarlett, but she grabs the gun and roundhouse kicks him twice, before she presses her hand into his head, knocking him into computer.
Scarlett: Captain Hoover. It's an honor. I need your access card. (produces energetic blade) Also a helpful hand....literally...
Off-screen, Scarlett severs Hoovers hand with Hoover letting out a painful scream. Meanwhile, Quantum, Dragonfly, Power Surge, Sun Sorceress, Mother Nature, the Owl and Ember enter the brig as the ship starts shaking and rumbling.
Quantum: What is that?
Dragonfly: hang on. V.O.X, scan the ship's entire structure.
V.O.X: Yes, sir.
Inside the Dragonfly's helmet, V.O.X scans the entire structure of the ship, detecting a giant hole through the ship's hull that is causing water to burst in and flood the ship.
V.O.X: James! The ship has many breaches that is causing water to flood the ship!
Quantum: We have to save the crew! Arianna!
Mother Nature: We saved everyone on deck, but the Ship's starting to go down!
Quantum: Good! Listen! We need seal the ships breaches!
Ember: You think we'll have time to save the crew?
Sun Sorceress: I don't know, but we'll try!
Quantum: Okay, Sun Sorceress, Mother Nature, Power Surge! Help me seal the breaches! Ember, Owl, Dragonfly, you three try to save as many crewmen as possible!
The U.S.S Raven begins to shake as more water begins to burst in.
Ember: Jeez! From the sound of things, we only have a few minutes! I ask again; you think we'll have time?!
Quantum: We'll make time! Now go!
The team splits into two teams as Quantum, Mother Nature, Sun Sorceress and Power Surge use their powers to seal the ship's hull from flooding anymore. Meanwhile, Ember, Dragonfly and Owl help crewmen aboard the Eagle.
Ember : C'mon! C'mon! Move!
The Owl: One at a time! One at a time!
Dragonfly is saving crewman from either falling off the edge or drowning. When one of the brig levels begins taking on water, the crewmen in that level begin screaming as it floods. The crewmen are trying to swim under the water. Dragonfly dives into the water. In his helmet hub, Dragonfly looks at how many crewmen there are under the water as V.O.X scans the area.
Dragonfly: V.O.X?
V.O.X: About ten men are still trapped in the bottom level. Water is rising.
Dragonfly: Piece of cake.
Dragonfly uses the power in his armored hand to create a shield that lifts up all the crewmen from the water. The wet and shaken crewmen look at Dragonfly.
Dragonfly: It's not a diving suit, but it'll do, guys. At least, you're alive.
The team leads the crewmen to the evacuation chamber. Quantum, Sun Sorceress, Mother Nature and Power Surge arrive with the other crewmen, escorting them into the escape chambers.
Quantum: Is that all of them?!
Dragonfly: All survivors accounted for, cept the captain!
Suddenly, water bursts in as Ember shoots a smoke ball that molds the breaches.
Ember: Quantum, I'm trying to hold it together, but it would really help if you could seal the hatches.
Quantum: Hold on!
Quantum and Dragonfly uses their powers to seal up the hatches. Power Surge looks at a breach and attempts to seal it, before he manages to seal a breach, but another one bursts as water sprays all over him, just as Power Surge is blasted into another level. He is then swimming as Quantum and Dragonfly appear.
Quantum: Power Surge!
Quantum then jumps into the water and uses his agility to swim very fast in order to reach his ally. Quantum then uses his laser vision to blast any barricade in the way. Power Surge is nearly sucked out of the ship as he barely latches on a piece of debris, but his hand starts to slip as Quantum manages to grab him just in time. Quantum and Power Surge swims up from out of the water as Quantum drags Power Surge onto the platform.
Quantum: You okay?
Power Surge nods while on another floor, U.S.S Raven soldiers line up in a hallway.
U.S.S Raven Sergeant: Get ready. Here he comes.
U.S.S Raven Soldier: Yes, sir!
At the end of the hall, gunfire is flashing as soldiers are seen being thrown into the wall or each other.
U.S.S Raven Soldier # 1: Stand your ground men! Stand your ground!
U.S.S Raven Soldier # 2: the frickin bullets are bouncing off his armor!
U.S.S Raven Soldier # 3: Holy shit! This guy's a robotic ninja!
Suddenly, Red Dragon is slicing down soldiers with his sword or powers, before he then punches one soldier into the wall and backhands another, sending him flying over the lined-up soldiers. The soldiers then begin moving on Axel.
U.S.S Raven Sergeant: C'mon! Let's take this freak down!
With the soldiers moving on Red Dragon, two soldiers fall behind as Scarlett snaps ones' neck and impales another with her blade. Scarlett then presses Hoovers sever hand onto the scanner as the door opens. Scarlett notices a giant machine in front of her labeled "caution: extremely dangerous". Scarlett presses Hoover's severed hand onto the scanner as the giant machine opens as electricity is seen surging. Inside the electricity, Genesis is held, still trapped in his cocooned stasis.
Scarlett: Damn them! Goddamn them!
Scarlett, out of rage, smashes the controls, turning off the electricity in the chamber. After a few tense moments, Genesis suddenly begins to free himself from his cocooned stasis, standing partially clothed before Scarlett.
Scarlett: Father...
Scarlett bows as Genesis walks down the giant machine.
Scarlett: Behold! The savior of Enhuman kind is free. Our time is now. Your words will reign to all across the world. For he shall stand and smite our enemies in a river of their own blood. He will be the messiah to those who are feared, rejected and hated.
Red Dragon arrives as his mask automatically unseals his face, before he places his sword in his holster, carrying Genesis' cloak, clothing and mask.
Red Dragon: Master....
Genesis dresses himself, before Scarlett offers Genesis his mask.
Scarlett: It is you, who will lead us to victory in the war.
Genesis takes the mask and places on his face.
Genesis: It's time to show the humans who their masters are...
In the aftermath of the sinking of the U.S.S Raven, at Parker Tower, James, John, Eva, Charles and Arianna are watching the news showing the sinking of the U.S.S Raven.
News Reporter: I'm Keera Chang for RDA World News. Our top story tonight; the attack on the U.S.S Raven. Earlier today, an Enhuman terrorist group known as the Purifiers boarded the military carrier and forced their way into the prisoner decks. Once there, they released an electromagnetic energy burst that severely damaged the ship. Though the arbiter was lost, there was luckily no loss of human life. This event gave General Tarmac more energy for his anti-Enhuman campaign.
In a clip, Tarmac speaks in front of a group of reporters and politicians.
Tarmac: Humanity must open its eyes to the true enemy. Enhumans.....and now, these dangerous freaks of nature have cost our government thousands of hard working tax payers dollars and thousands of human life....and now, should things continue in this-
Suddenly, the news broadcast is interrupted by Genesis.
James: what the hell?
Genesis: My Enhuman children! We stand above slaves! Slaves that build machines and weapons to try and overpower their true masters.....for those, who wish to follow me, join me.....I invite you to take a stand....the humans have built weapons to destroy us, because they are weak....powerless....they're afraid of what we can do...because we are different and more powerful....regardless of race or gender...and now, evolution...we are Gods...to those who wish to fight for the slaves, stay out of our way...and for those who wish to fight with me, join me (during Genesis' speech, several Enhumans across the globe, Dominic seems intrigued and interested) no more hiding in fear....in the shadows...show your colors and stand with me....together, we will make the humans bow to the Enhumans.
The broadcast shuts off.
