Audrey and Edith heads to the carriage their mother Elenour following close behind. It was a gloomy day and to the left side of the girls there were landscapers planting flowers.
"I wonder what this surprise is I'm so excited I could eat a whole pork joint but that wouldn't be ladylike" Edith says tapping her chin.
"Well if it's something for you it's probably something wonderful showing that she favors you." Audrey says looking at the garden and admiring the flowers.
"I hope it's something tasty my stomach is practically touching my back" Edith says holding her stomach.
The coachman opens the door for the girls and they step inside, Elenour who caught up to them whispers to the coachman where to go and he nods. Elenour steps inside the carriage looking at the girls and smiling ear to ear you could tell she was planning something.
"Mother where are we going exactly?" Edith says locking eyes with her mother.
"Oh you will see" Elenour says and without losing her composure she tells the coach man to drive.
"Ugh mother it's always something with you" Audrey says scoffing and staring at her dress fidgeting with her hands.
"Oh hold you tongue you are just mad because a man won't look at you like they do Edith-...Oh" Elenour says stopping because she's realized she had said to much.
"Mother" Edith says with a stern expression "Are you taking me to see a man?" Edith looks at her with a serious-like expression.
"Oh no Edith sweety just to see a friend of mine" Elenour says with a clear expression of knowing she was caught but tried to play it off.
Edith and Audrey both realizes that she was lying and motions to the coachman to stop. Edith gets out the carriage and tells the coachman to turn back and go home the coachman nods once again and Edith turns and gets back in the carriage.
"Mother I am not your toy to play around with and use to gain men's satisfaction I am not about to put up with it!" Edith says her voice raising a bit.
Audrey smirking a bit and laughs and looks at Edith "Oh Edith you should have knew sooner it was obvious I mean she said she had a surprise for you and literally laughed I knew something was up".
"And you didn't tell me...you know what it's fine" Edith says gritting her teeth angrily.
The carriage stops at the stairs and Edith gets out and slams the carriage door and runs in to the house and leaves the door open.
Audrey getting out the car laughs then gets serious "You should have known better mother, this isn't right on your hand you are a bad mother you know" Audrey gets out the carriage and walks up the stairs staring back.
"Mother come on you need to apologize to Edith"
