Denzal and Devonte searched relentlessly across the entire Shadowvale kingdom, yet there was no sign of Zara. Each passing second gnawed at their patience, the silence suffocating their senses. Her scent was gone, vanished as if swallowed by the shadows. Panic clawed at them as they wrestled with the haunting possibility that she was lost.
"Denzal! We're wasting time! She's not at this border. she's not here!" Devonte's voice rang out in frustration, his fists clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. The madness of Zara's absence threatened to consume him entirely.
Denzal's jaw tightened. "There's no other option," he said at last, his voice low and resolute. "We must summon them."
