Chapter 1 - The Darkness and the Light

The southern direction of the Earth is a dense forest where humans cannot enter, known as the Black Forest. It serves as a fortress for evil forces, densely filled with trees and shrubs, where everywhere you look seems like night even during the day.

Only ferocious beasts, evil jinn spirits, poisonous snakes, and hunting birds can survive here. The forest is surrounded by mountains on all sides, and beyond them were lands inhabited by people.

No one dares to enter this forest, as the creatures, burrows, bushes, and evil forces inside are feared. Anyone who ventures in meets a dreadful death. Their bodies are never found, and no one has ever dared to enter the forest to search for the deceased.

The only people who venture near the forest are woodcutters, herbal gatherers, and healers collecting fruits and herbs, all of whom stay close to the mountain peaks, but they never go beyond.

On the night of the full moon, the moonlight shone above the trees, piercing through the branches and illuminating a fearsome figure meditating in deep worship.

Though the figure resembled a human, it had two horns on its head, adorned with a crown, and its body was dark with a bulging belly. Its arms and legs were elongated, and it sat in a massive lotus posture, silently worshiping.

The silence of the forest was disturbed only by the breathing of this figure, which resonated powerfully through the forest.

Upon hearing the breath, the nocturnal birds and hunting animals froze in fear, hiding silently in their hiding spots.

The creature appeared to be a manifestation of evil power, as its very presence caused all the creatures within the forest to lose their sense of reason and flee.

The small insects, birds, and animals near the figure burned into ashes upon touching it, as its breath spread through the forest.

As the sound of the worship grew louder, the forest itself began to tremble.

In the sky, heavenly beings in white robes circled, observing the full moon's light, while the influence of the worshipping figure even affected them.

The four deities named Mangala, Kalik, Maula, and Salum flew through the sky. These deities were known to bring blessings on both the full moon and new moon days, granting siddhi to those who worshiped with mantras.

Mangala, noticing that they could not fly beyond the forest, remarked, "What is this? We can't even fly above this forest. Something strange is happening here. It seems like the work of an evil force. But how did such a vast power get here? Let's go down, friends, and see what is going on."

Maula, the leader among them, cautioned, "Mangala, this place seems to be full of danger. From what the heavenly leader Gabriel said, it appears that an heir of evil forces is going to be born on Earth."

Salum added, "If we can't even fly above it, how can we go down? Think carefully. There might be even greater dangers waiting below. If things are this bad for us, then imagine how worse it is for humans and other creatures."

Kalik, undeterred by the warnings, said, "Are we going to run away in fear? We are the guardians of the full moon light. We have authority on Earth. It is our duty to destroy evil forces and protect the good. Let's go and see for ourselves."

Maula responded, "No, Kalik. I've heard about this before. Gabriel himself mentioned that if anyone could stop it, he would have told us. Whatever happens here is according to fate. No one can stop it."

Kalik, however, remained determined, saying, "I cannot stand by and do nothing. I will descend and use my powers to destroy this evil force." Without hesitation, she descended, followed by the others.

Unable to fly over the forest, the four deities landed on its edge and began walking into the forest.

As Maula placed her hand on the earth to try to understand what was happening, she looked up in her divine vision and saw the terrifying figure still meditating. She was overwhelmed with fear and could not speak.

The other deities asked, "What did you see, Maula?" But Maula was too frightened to speak. The three deities, following her lead, used their divine vision to sense the same presence.

The four deities were shocked, but Kalik was not ready to give up. She wanted to confront the terrifying figure and see what it was capable of. Maula tried to stop her, but Kalik was resolute, and the others followed reluctantly.

At the edge of the forest, the four deities were surrounded by ferocious beasts. With a chant, they enchanted the animals, causing them to fall unconscious and move away, allowing the deities to proceed.

The leader of the beasts, a lion named Palvada, along with an eagle named Pazuvana, observed the deities' movements from afar.

As the deities advanced, the forest was filled with silence, only the sound of the wind could be heard. The deities' glowing forms provided the only light, cutting through the dense darkness.

This light was a rarity in a forest that never saw daylight, awakening the attention of all creatures, both animal and supernatural.

The evil jinn spirits buried deep within the earth began to emerge. The evil servants, who had been protecting the boundaries of the forest, remained hidden, ensuring no one entered.

The power of the worshipping figure kept growing, strengthening the evil forces in the forest. They prepared to attack, awaiting the arrival of the deities.

The leader of the evil spirits, Bakar Jinn, commanded, "Do not interfere. They cannot destroy this worship. They don't even know what they are dealing with."

The other spirits, heeding his command, buried themselves back into the earth, waiting for the deities to approach.

The deities, though filled with fear, increased their own powers, preparing for battle. As they advanced, Kalik, in the lead, felt the full force of the evil figure's breath. It was so overwhelming that it caused her to stumble.

Kalik fell to her knees, overwhelmed by the power, and the others stopped, realizing the danger they were in.

As they tried to call Kalik back, they too felt the oppressive force of the breath and were unable to move forward.

Only Kalik, with her immense willpower, continued toward the figure.

The other three deities pleaded with her to stop, but Kalik was determined. The wind carried the overwhelming force of the evil, but Kalik pressed on.
