ONE YEAR LATER…
As I looked out the window, I couldn't help but think of my family. My father, who had always been a pillar of strength for me, was now living in a different city, rebuilding his life with my stepmother and stepbrother. We had all been through so much together, and I was grateful that they had found happiness again. I knew that I would always carry the scars of my past with me, but with the support of my loved ones, I was ready to face whatever the future held.
