Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Keeper of the Altar

Two months had passed since Kai began his journey to collect the relics left by Andreas. After a long and exhausting search, he had finally gathered the four relics scattered across the vast expanse of The Dark Multiverse. Now, Kai knew that these relics were the key to accessing the next cosmological level, The Realm of Primordial Beings.

Kai arrived at an ancient planet rumored to be the site of the final altar, a sacred place where the relics would be activated. The planet was eerily silent, its barren and dark landscape emanating such a powerful cosmic energy that it seemed to threaten destruction. At the center of this desolate world stood a monumental structure—the altar—guarded by an AI named M-09, a creation of Zyro, tasked with protecting the site until the heir to the relics arrived.

As Kai approached the altar, M-09 greeted him in a neutral yet authoritative tone.

"Welcome, heir of the relics. I have awaited your arrival for centuries."

Kai, exhausted from his journey, sat down near the altar. M-09, with high efficiency, prepared a simple meal for Kai using its advanced technology. As Kai ate, M-09 began to reveal the secrets of The Dark Multiverse.

"You have entered a realm that few can comprehend," M-09 began. "The Dark Multiverse consists of an infinite number of multiverses, each governed by its own laws, rules, and realities. However, what makes it truly extraordinary is that each multiverse contains an infinite number of Woodin Cardinals."

Kai paused, raising an eyebrow. "Woodin Cardinals? What are they?"

"Woodin Cardinals are mathematical constructs that surpass all known infinities," M-09 explained. "Imagine this: for every multiverse, there exists an infinite structure interwoven, forming a chain of existence beyond the logic of space and time. These Woodin Cardinals are the very core of each multiverse in The Dark Multiverse."

Kai pondered this revelation. "So, these relics... are they part of the Woodin Cardinals?"

"Not just a part," M-09 clarified. "These relics are the key that allows you to transcend The Dark Multiverse and enter The Realm of Primordial Beings, the next cosmological level. There, only those whose essence has been strengthened by these relics can endure, let alone interact with the primordial beings that rule over it."

Kai stared at the relic in his hand. Its soft glow pulsed with a power that felt vast, yet unfathomable. "What lies in that cosmological level?"

M-09's virtual expression formed a faint, enigmatic smile. "The Realm of Primordial Beings is a place where the laws and limits of our reality no longer apply. It is home to entities older and more powerful than space, time, and even existence itself. But to understand this knowledge, you must prepare yourself. Your journey is far from over."

Kai gripped the relic tightly. He understood that the next step would be his final trial, but his resolve was unshakable. As he gazed at the dark sky above, he steeled himself for the challenges that awaited in the next realm. "You must descend into Hell," M-09 said, its tone serious. "Hell is a dimension that has fallen into chaos since Andreas left. The creatures once imprisoned there now dare to rise to the surface of the multiverse. They are not just a threat to Andreas but to the balance of the entire cosmology."

Kai looked at the relic in his hand, its light pulsing with immense power. "So, I must destroy it?"

M-09 nodded. "Exactly. Hell is the final obstacle before your ascension. Its inhabitants will not let you pass without resistance. You must annihilate the dimension completely to open the path to the next cosmological level."

Kai clenched his fist as cosmic energy began to radiate from his body. "Then I will descend there. No matter how dangerous, I will not turn back."

M-09 observed him with a satisfied look. "The relics you carry will aid you, but be cautious. Hell is not just a place for dark creatures to gather. There are entities there—older, stronger, and far more dangerous—that lurk within its depths. Even Andreas barely escaped them."

Kai gazed at the dark sky, his resolve growing stronger. Hell was not merely an obstacle; it was the final test before he could bring hope to Andreas and the entire cosmology.

"Their world will crumble," he said softly, "and I wil

l make sure they never rise again."
