Running to Elias shop it was about a 15 minute walk and a 8 minute run for me.
As I was running I bumped into an older man. He had dark grey hair and his teeth were dirty.
"Sorry about that" I said running off.
"Don't worry about it" he smiled.
I finally made it back to the shop and once I entered the shop Elias was standing there.
"Hey Elias," I said with a smile.
"Sorry I left you all evening I was busy with Elara" I continued.
"I see your wearing a new outfit" He sounded annoyed.
"Yeah Elara picked it out for me"
"Oh she did?" He suddenly crossed his arms.
"Elias I'm really really sorry for leaving you all day please forgive me" I begged.
"Ill allow it this one time" he said reluctantly.
"Kain there was something I wanted to talk to you about" he continued.
"Oh is this about yesterday?" I replied.
"Yeah it's about your powers"
"Really! I wanted to know more about it"
"Well I only know a little about it but I can explain how it should work"
"It works like this. You summon the shadows around you and it causes the shadows to disappear from the stuff you take it from. Let's say you decide to summon a shadow weapon like the one you summoned last night, it will take the shadow from something nearby. Let's say it decides to make my shadow then I will effectively disappear so you will have to be careful on what you take the shadows from last night we got lucky it was night. You powers are improved amazingly at night probably times 2 your regular amount"
So what I'm getting is that I can summon a weapon of my choice or anything in general in shadow form as long as it takes a shadow that's nearby and that fits the design and my power is in times 2 at night? That's amazing!
"Thank you so much! With this information I will be trying to use my powers for good reason"
I of course had other ideas because this is something I'm not used to or anything like this in general.
"I don't see promise in your words Kain"
"Yeah yeah" I started looking at my hands. "Elias how do you know about my powers?" I asked.
"Well that's because I'm a long distant relative of Gylor, one of the ten who defeated the queen of darkness"
"What! What do you mean your related to him? Does that mean you also wield the same power?"
"No I don't my family lost the powers after Gylor he was the last person who had that power but… I'm not sure how it's in your hands?"
"I'm not sure myself but I'm always ready to help you Elias"
"Yes I know Kain and that's what I really wanted to talk to you about"
"Huh? I thought you wanted to talk about my powers specifically? Is that not what you meant?"
Elias stood up and walked towards me.
"Kain…"
"Yes?"
He started getting closer to me causing me to turn my head away.
He suddenly punched me in the arm hard.
"Damn it Kain! Why did you leave me today"
He was suddenly crying.
"Ow" I said while holding where he hurt me.
"I'm sorry Elias! I really am"
"If you really are then I'm going with you and Hikari to Aeloria"
"Wait what? You want to go with us?"
"Want? No it's I'm going! This is a way for you to repay me for not working here for long and I can help you with your powers on the way to Aeloria, do you know how long it will take to travel there?"
I never realized it but trasportation here will take FOREVER.
"Fine fine you can come along. So that means you, me, Elara, and Hikari are going to be traveling together. This should be fun"
"Good! I already have my bag packed so when Hikari and Elara come by we can leave!"
"Bag? Packed? I'm supposed to pack something? I don't have anything worth bringing with me"
Elias started to burst out laughing.
"This isn't funny! Hikari and Elara are going to think I'm just a trashy guy who doesn't have anything!"
"No I think your fine. They aren't those type of people you know that so just calm down" he was still laughing while he said that.
I felt like I was mocked by him.
"It's fine they know what happened to you last night and they were there so your fine don't worry" Elias said.
Suddenly Hikari and Elara come running in the shop.
"Hey move out the way Hikari!"
"No can do"
They both come crashing on the floor.
"Hikari? Elara?" I was surprised.
Elara looked the exact same as I seen her earlier that day.
Hikari on the other hand was wearing something different it was like casual clothes compared to her armor yesterday.
"So are we going to leave or what?" Hikari said.
