Chapter 1 - The Gateway

Episode 1: The Gateway

Scene 1: The Beauty of Bihar

Bihar, a land of ancient wonders and timeless beauty, sprawled under the golden embrace of the morning sun. The Ganga river shimmered like liquid gold, cutting through vast green fields dotted with farmers tending to their crops. Majestic temples and ruins whispered tales of a bygone era, their stones etched with stories of kings and sages.

The air carried the earthy scent of freshly tilled soil, mingling with the aroma of spices wafting from roadside stalls. Life bustled in the streets, a cacophony of bicycle bells, vendors' calls, and laughter from children playing by the ghats.

But amidst this vibrant land, in a forgotten corner of the state, lay an orphanage—humble, crumbling, and almost invisible to the world. This was Denver's home.

---

Scene 2: Introducing Denver

Denver sat on the edge of the orphanage's dilapidated courtyard, staring at the horizon. His thin frame leaned against the peeling wall, his eyes reflecting both resilience and longing.

From the moment he could remember, life had been a struggle. Food was scarce, education was a luxury, and the concept of family was a dream. Yet, Denver never allowed bitterness to take root. He helped the younger kids, shared what little he had, and carried an unshakable kindness in his heart.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Denver whispered to himself:

Denver (to himself): "I wonder if I'll ever leave this place. Will I ever know where I came from? Who I really am?"

---

Scene 3: Discovery of the Book

Late one evening, while helping clear the backyard of the orphanage, Denver's foot struck something hard buried in the ground. Curious, he knelt and brushed the dirt away, revealing an old wooden box.

Denver (to himself): "What's this doing here? Doesn't look like anyone's touched it in years."

Inside the box was a book, its leather cover cracked with age. The pages were yellowed, and there were only five of them intact. Strange symbols, almost like runes, filled the pages. They shimmered faintly under the moonlight, as if alive.

Denver squinted at the symbols.

Denver: "Weird... This doesn't make any sense. Just some old scribbles. Probably junk."

But something about the book intrigued him. He decided to keep it.

---

Scene 4: The Mystery Deepens

Over the next few days, Denver couldn't shake the feeling that the book was calling to him. One night, under the light of a flickering lamp, he ran his fingers over the symbols.

Suddenly, the lines began to shift. The strange runes transformed into words he could read:

"Perform the steps, and the gate shall reveal itself."

His heart raced. Was this real? Or just his imagination playing tricks on him? He decided to test it.

---

Scene 5: The Gate Appears

Under the full moon, Denver followed the book's instructions in a secluded field near the orphanage. He drew a circle in the dirt, muttered the words written on the pages, and waited.

For a moment, nothing happened. Disappointment washed over him.

Denver: "Of course... I'm such an idiot. Why did I even—"

Before he could finish, the air shimmered. A faint hum filled the night, and a glowing oval began to form in the circle. Denver stumbled back, his eyes wide.

Denver: "No way... This can't be real."

The gate pulsated with light, its surface rippling like water. Denver's panic was matched only by his curiosity.

---

Scene 6: Sharing the Secret

The next morning, Denver couldn't keep the discovery to himself. He approached his closest friends: Kartik, Priyanshu, Sandya, and Sam.

They gathered in their usual spot, an abandoned shed on the outskirts of the orphanage. Denver tried to explain, but skepticism filled the air.

Kartik (crossing his arms): "So, let me get this straight. You found a magical book that opened a... gate? Denver, come on."

Sandya (grinning): "Sounds like you've been watching too many movies. What's next? Dragons?"

Sam (teasing): "Show us the gate, magician. Or are you just making this up for fun?"

Priyanshu (calmly): "Wait. Denver doesn't usually lie. Maybe we should at least hear him out."

---

Scene 7: The Gate Reappears

That evening, Denver led them to the field. With the book in hand, he performed the ritual again. For a moment, nothing happened, and the others smirked.

Kartik: "See? Just as I thought—"

But before he could finish, the gate reappeared, its light cutting through the darkness. The group froze.

Sandya (stammering): "Oh my god... What is that?"

Priyanshu (in awe): "Denver... How did you do this?"

Sam (excited): "This is insane! What's on the other side?"

Denver: "I don't know. But I think we need to find out."

---

Scene 8: The Decision

They stood before the gate, its glow casting their faces in an ethereal light.

Kartik (hesitant): "What if this is dangerous? What if we can't come back?"

Sandya: "Denver, are you sure about this? We don't even know what's waiting for us."

Sam (grinning): "Come on! What's life without a little risk?"

Denver took a deep breath.

Denver: "I'm going in. You don't have to follow me, but I can't turn back now."

One by one, they stepped into the light, the gate swallowing them whole. As the last of them crossed, the gate vanished, leaving only silence.
