Ritsuka turned his head, scanning the room he had been assigned. It was a humble yet clean space, a single bedroom attached to a compact kitchen and a bathroom. A small table with a laptop rested in the corner, completing the room's modest setup. He flipped the light switch, illuminating the area in a soft glow.
He removed his school uniform and rummaged through his bag for casual clothes. Slipping into a white T-shirt and black shorts, he let out a sigh and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.
After drying off with a towel, Ritsuka sat on the edge of the bed, his mind preoccupied with thoughts about the differences between his old world and this new one. Here, there were no magic circuits. Everything depended on one's body and spirit or soul.
"It's not just about being born with a powerful Gift," Ritsuka mused aloud. "Strength comes from effort, knowledge, and experience. You can't rely on innate power alone. Thats what Grandma told us in orphanage."
He remembered his famous shadow servants ability.
It's been many years, he use that ability again now.
Curious to test his abilities, he raised his hand, focusing on summoning his shadow servants. He felt the familiar flow of magic circulating within him, but nothing materialized. A sharp pang of shock hit him.
"Why…? Why can't I summon them?" he whispered, his voice laced with disbelief.
He considered the possibility that this body wasn't his own, but quickly dismissed it. His bonds with his servants were tied to his soul, not his physical form. It didn't make sense for them not to respond.
Determined, Ritsuka closed his eyes and tried again. He pushed his magic to circulate more intensely, sweat forming on his brow. The strain grew unbearable, his head pounding and blood trickling from his nose. Just as he was about to fall, faint particles of light began to form before him.
His eyes flew open as the glowing particles coalesced into a screen floating in midair. He shielded his face from the brilliance as the light intensified, only to gape at what appeared before him. He wiped the blood.

Ritsuka held his breath, staring at the screen in disbelief.
"What… what is this?" he stammered, his voice trembling.
His heart pounded as sweat trickled down his temple. He couldn't process what he was seeing. The stats, the descriptions—everything felt surreal.
At that moment, a realization struck Ritsuka like a bolt of lightning.
"D-Did I just get... enlightenment?" he stammered, his voice trembling with disbelief.
In this world, enlightenment was a phenomenon of awakening—a personal insight attained when someone surpassed their limits. It was considered the first step toward becoming a true Hero.
"Just like in anime," Ritsuka muttered to himself, his thoughts racing. "Characters suddenly gain new powers when they reach their breaking point. A sudden power-up, just like that."
He thought of the stories he had heard. Active-duty Heroes were all enlightened, but reaching this state required numerous experiences and relentless training. Most cadets spent years striving for enlightenment without success.
The Hero Association called this phenomenon the 'status window.' It was an established fact that a status window could only be seen by its owner.
"I heard Shirou achieved enlightenment at a young age, even as a commoner," he mused. "And of course, Olga and Manaka—they were naturals."
But rather than being happy, analyzing the situation came first.
Suddenly, the air around him changed. It grew thick and heavy, imbued with a mysterious energy that seemed to press against his very being. The atmosphere itself felt alive, pulsing with an unexplainable force.
A whisper reached his ears—soft at first, then rising and falling unpredictably. The sound was strange, a blend of the real and surreal. It was sharp yet alluring, sane yet maniacal. The more he listened, the harder it became to resist its pull.
He didn't understand the words, but they tugged at him, urging him to decipher their meaning.
A sharp pain tore through his head, as though a steel drill had been driven into his skull. Ritsuka gasped, clutching at his temples. The world around him seemed to spin, awash in a psychedelic storm of colors that threatened to overwhelm his senses.
His thoughts became fragmented, a chaotic whirlwind of sensations and emotions. He knew something was terribly wrong and tried to open his eyes, but even that simple action seemed impossible.
His body felt tighter and tighter, as if it were on the verge of shattering.
Summoning every ounce of his will, Ritsuka tried again, forcing his eyes open. This time, he succeeded.
Gray fog stretched before him—vast, hazy, and unending. It seemed to flow like a river, dotted with countless stars that shimmered and pulsed faintly. Some stars were immense and radiant, while others were small and hidden, veiled within the fog's depths.
Ritsuka floated on the edge of this strange, star-filled expanse, a solitary figure in an infinite sea.
"What's... what's going on?" he murmured, his voice barely audible.
Suddenly, one of the stars burst. A brilliant flash of light consumed his vision, illuminating the fog for a fleeting moment before darkness swept over everything.
The sheer beauty of the phenomenon took Ritsuka's breath away. It was mesmerizing, even as it overwhelmed him.
One by one, more stars burst, each releasing a splendor of light before being swallowed by the consuming darkness.
Ritsuka's mind emptied, his thoughts scattered. His spirit seemed to dissolve into the vastness, becoming one with the endless expanse.
And then, he was alone in the void.
Darkness surrounded him, deep and impenetrable. There was no sound, no sensation—just the still, eternal quiet of the abyss.
Ritsuka blinked, trying to ground himself in the surreal scene before him.
"Where am I? What do I plan to do in darkness?" he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "What's going on...?"
Repeating the questions silently to calm his nerves, he felt the gray fog around him stir.
The fog churned violently, sending a shock through Ritsuka.
In an instant, the scenery shifted. Towering stone pillars surrounded him, their grandeur rising into a vast dome overhead. The structure was magnificent—grand and imposing, reminiscent of a mythical palace fit for giants.
Under the dome, where the gray fog gathered thickest, a long bronze table appeared. It stretched endlessly, flanked by twenty high-back chairs—ten on each side, arranged in perfect symmetry. The backs of the chairs shimmered faintly with stars, forming constellations that seemed eerily alien.
At the head of the table, a pitch-black figure sat in an imposing high-back chair engraved with ancient patterns. The figure radiated an overwhelming presence, silently observing him.
Ritsuka's gaze locked onto the figure, unable to break away.
A voice came from behind him, smooth yet sharp. "If you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you. If I were you, I'd stop staring at the Goddess' eyes."
Startled, Ritsuka spun around to see a man emerging from the fog. Or at least, a form resembling a man—his face was obscured, covered entirely in darkness. Yet, from his tone, Ritsuka could tell he was likely in his mid-thirties.
"Wait... Goddess? But Your face" Ritsuka asked, confusion and alarm creeping into his voice.
The figure chuckled lightly. "Who I am is irrelevant. You cannot see my face, nor can I see yours. Not without the Goddess' permission."
'So my identity is safe '
Ritsuka frowned. "Who are you then? And why are you hiding behind this mask of shadows?"
"I am the avatar and servant of Lord Hypnos," the figure replied calmly. "As for the shadows on our faces, it is the will of the Goddess. Only by her grace can we reveal ourselves fully."
Ritsuka's mind raced, piecing together the puzzle. The figure sitting at the head of the table... the overwhelming presence... the mention of a Goddess. It clicked.
He turned back toward the seated figure, bowing his head deeply. "It's my honor to meet you, Goddess Nyx, Goddess of Darkness and the Void."
Despite the surreal situation, Ritsuka's instincts told him to tread carefully. One wrong word, one sign of disrespect, and his life could end here.
The avatar of Hypnos stepped beside the Goddess, his movements precise and deferential. "You are quick to assess the situation and recognize the Goddess' identity," he remarked, his tone tinged with approval.
Nyx tilted her head slightly, as if acknowledging Ritsuka's deference. The avatar spoke again. "The Goddess is pleased with your manners and grants you permission to sit."
Ritsuka observed the sky above. Stars blinked out of existence, replaced by the formation of black holes, yet he felt no effect on him which means Goddess NYX control this place. The spectacle was strangely calming, like watching the rhythm of a universe being born and destroyed.
He extended his hand, running his fingers along the edge of the bronze table. It was cold and ancient, resonating faintly with power. Sitting down, Ritsuka maintained an air of calm despite the situation.
The avatar spoke again, his voice solemn. "Goddess Nyx has chosen you to be her avatar. For thirty years, she has waited for someone suitable to take on this position and help mankind."
Ritsuka raised an eyebrow. "Straight to the point, huh? You mean she wants to take over my body?"
The avatar shook his head. "No, you misunderstand. Even I, the avatar of Lord Hypnos, am not possessed by my god. I serve as his representative, aiding humanity under his guidance. You would do the same for Goddess Nyx. My presence here is merely to convey her words to you for now, so this is her clone not her real body. We can't stand infront of her body."
'For a clone to have much power ' he glanced at the black holes in the sky.
Ritsuka leaned back slightly, his mind processing the revelation. "So, if I agree, I'll work for her—not lose myself to her?"
The avatar nodded. "Precisely. The choice is yours, Ritsuka Fujimaru. But understand, once you accept, this responsibility is eternal."
The room fell silent as the weight of the decision settled over Ritsuka.
Ritsuka's gaze never wavered as he listened carefully to the mysterious figure. The fog in the room seemed to press in around him, thickening with every word spoken. A strange weight settled in his chest, but his mind remained sharp. The more he heard, the more the puzzle pieces seemed to fall into place, even if the full picture remained unclear.
"How can I trust you? With no disrespect to Goddess Nyx, but I've never heard of any god's representative in this world, nor from the Hero Association. I don't know you, avatar of Hypnos." Ritsuka's suspicion was clear, his voice tinged with wariness.
The avatar of Hypnos didn't flinch. "You're right. But think for a moment. Why do you think no one reveals themselves as gods' representatives?"
Ritsuka's brow furrowed, and after a brief pause, he answered slowly, piecing things together. "Once anyone becomes a representative, they can't reveal themselves."
"Correct," the figure acknowledged with a slight nod. "I know you have many questions, but you should stop asking them for now. Once you accept, you will find the answers yourself."
Ritsuka processed the words, a heavy sense of doubt gnawing at him. "Can't I at least know why other avatars reveal themselves to each other? Are gods and goddesses enemies to each other?"
The avatar of Hypnos turned his gaze to Nyx before replying. "Yes, but it depends on the gods and goddesses. If you become Goddess Nyx's avatar, then you will be targeted by many, and one of them is Zeus, the Olympian ruler. Many of them fear you. That's all."
The simplicity of the answer hung in the air, a lingering weight in the grand hall, before the voice continued to echo in Ritsuka's mind.
"I don't understand. Why fight among themselves when humanity is in such a crisis?" Ritsuka questioned, frustration evident in his voice.
The avatar raised a finger to his lips. "Shhh. Didn't I tell you? Once you become the representative, you'll get the answers to most of your questions."
"Why me?" Ritsuka's voice was firm, but tinged with disbelief.
The figure paused, a shift in his stance revealing the gravity of the next words. He turned to Goddess Nyx, who made no move but acknowledged his request with a subtle nod. The avatar then spoke again, his tone betraying a hint of surprise.
"Goddess Nyx says your soul has met all the conditions. And she can sense the death of another Zeus in your hands."
Ritsuka's heart skipped a beat. His expression hardened. "Yes, I killed Zeus once, but I did so with my friends. Even though I delivered the final blow, without my friends I couldn't killed him. I understand why Goddess Nyx would want me as her avatar."
The avatar of Hypnos nodded gravely. "That's the reason Zeus wants you dead. He will send his representative after you."
Ritsuka's thoughts swirled. He had already known that Zeus had been a threat in his past life in lostbelt 5, but hearing this so bluntly made it hit home. "Right now, many gods and goddesses have their eyes on you. If not for Goddess Nyx, you would already be in great danger. But once you accept her protection, they will not dare to harm you. Goddess Nyx has also made agreements with a few others who are ready to offer their protection."
Ritsuka stood still for a moment, absorbing the weight of what was being said. His mind was in turmoil, weighing the pros and cons, calculating the risks and benefits.
"Thanks for saving me, but who are these others?" Ritsuka asked, the weight of his decision pressing on him, though his voice remained steady.
The avatar answered without hesitation. "God Shiva, the god of destruction and time. God Vishnu, the god of preservation. And Morrígan, the Celtic goddess of fate."
Ritsuka's expression didn't change, but internally he took note. This wasn't just about protecting humanity; it was about becoming entangled in a cosmic web of divine politics. As he processed the names, his mind sharpened, but a wave of dizziness suddenly washed over him.
The pain in his head intensified, forcing him to close his eyes briefly. "Why? What do all of you gain from doing this? Going this far?" His voice was strained, still searching for the true reason behind all these gods' interest in him.
The avatar of Hypnos remained calm. "Because Goddess Morrígan, the goddess of fate, foretold that your existence is crucial to saving the world in the future. After observing your soul, they understand this. And once you meet Goddess Morrígan, you will find the answers to your existence."
Ritsuka's headache worsened as the weight of this revelation hit him. His fate was tied to some future event, one that could change the course of the world.
Closing his eyes again, Ritsuka tried to steady his thoughts. "Something big is going on... I can feel it." He whispered to himself, realizing that he was more than just an observer in this divine drama.
He was a player. A key figure in a much larger scheme.
His mind processed everything: First he understood that this Goddess Nyx wasn't behind why he came to this world.
Second Goddess Morrígan know about how he came to this world or atleast the reason behind. But he can't keep all of his hope on it.
Thrid he can tell they are hiding something big. But he had two choices, do or not.
After remembering his friend Parvati and Durga words he can atleast Trust God Shiva and God Vishnu even if he won't believe Goddess NYX or Goddess Morrígan.
The more he thought about it, the more he realized he had no choice but to follow this path, at least for now.
"I still feel like you're hiding something, but... I want to trust. I'll agree to this. I guess the process of becoming an avatar isn't simple."
The avatar of Hypnos nodded solemnly. "No, you are not yet strong enough. But you have been chosen as a candidate. Once you qualify, you will undergo trials set by them. If you pass, you will become the avatar and gain the answers you seek."
Ritsuka nodded slowly, his resolve settling like stone. "I understand."
And with that, the path before him was clear.
Goddess Nyx's eyes glowed, two radiant stars appearing on her shadowy face as the avatar spoke.
"The Demon God was almost successful in incarnating two times in the past 30 years. You don't have much time. He is already becoming stronger than before. You need to guide humanity if Goddess Morrígan is telling the truth," the figure's words hung in the air, heavy with meaning.
Ritsuka clenched his fists, but before he could form a response, four stars appeared in the figure's right hand, shining brightly like distant constellations. His mind raced as the figure's cryptic words weighed heavily on him.
"Wait... when am I going to meet Goddess Morrígan?" Ritsuka asked, his voice betraying his confusion and urgency.
But the avatar ignored his question, as if it had already been decided. "Goddess Nyx will wait for your next meeting. She hopes you grow strong by then."
The stars in the figure's hand brightened once more, the blue light shimmering like the ocean's waves. The figure's form blurred before vanishing entirely, leaving Ritsuka alone in the hall, the gray fog dissipating into an eerie silence.
Suddenly, Ritsuka felt the weight of the moment settle over him. His surroundings twisted and shifted, the room around him slowly returning to normal. In an instant, he was standing in the middle of his apartment, as if the events in the grand hall had never happened.
He took a moment to regain his bearings, staring at the familiar surroundings of his apartment. His legs felt heavy, his mind clouded with the weight of everything he had just learned. His eyes were drawn to the desk, where his laptop sat quietly. Moving with difficulty, he walked over to it, his body still heavy from the strange encounter.
Opening the laptop, he checked the time, confirming that nothing had changed outside of his strange experience.
"Time flowed at the same pace," Ritsuka muttered, a grim realization settling in. The disorienting events of the last few moments had not affected the flow of time in his world.
He couldn't endure the sharp headache any longer. He sat down in his chair, his left hand reaching for his temples as he massaged them gently. His mind swirled with questions, each one more complicated than the last. He had learned too much, and yet not enough. The weight of the unknown pressed against him, threatening to drown him in confusion and fear.
After what felt like an eternity, Ritsuka finally let out a deep sigh, his thoughts laced with a mix of frustration and resolve. "From the looks of it, I won't be able to return anytime soon..." He leaned back in his chair, his eyes unfocused as he contemplated the journey ahead.
Only the clueless could be fearless, he thought bitterly. His encounters with NYX, and the information of powerful gods and goddesses had revealed in this world. He knew that the only way to uncover the truth was through Goddess Morrígan, but how? How could he find her, and what would he even say? The silence of the room was suffocating, and the only sound was his own breath.
"They didn't even tell me how I can meet Goddess Morrígan," Ritsuka muttered to himself, a hint of helplessness in his voice. "Maybe she will kidnap me, just like Goddess Nyx did."
He sat in the chair for what felt like hours, the weight of his new reality pressing on him from all sides. His thoughts were a tangled mess of questions and doubts, but there was one thing he knew for sure: he was no longer the Ritsuka Fujimaru who had come from Chaldea. This was a new world, one filled with gods and monsters, and he had a role to play in it.
Finally, with a deep breath, he rose from his chair, his gaze falling on the back of his hand. Four black dots, like tiny stars, had appeared there. They were barely visible, fading almost as soon as they had appeared. But Ritsuka knew that they were there, hidden deep within him, waiting to be awakened.
The feeling was unsettling, but he could not ignore it. He knew that something significant was stirring inside him, something that would shape his future in ways he couldn't yet comprehend.
"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest fear is the fear of the unknown," Ritsuka thought, recalling the saying as he felt the fear of the unknown gripping him in a way he had never experienced before.
There was an undeniable urge within him to seek out the mysteries of this world, to understand what was happening and what his role in it all would be. But at the same time, there was a part of him that wanted to escape to his world, to pretend nothing had changed, to return to the normalcy he once knew.
The conflict within him was overwhelming, but one thing was clear: he could not turn back. His fate, and the fate of the world, was now intertwined with these gods and their hidden agendas. He could only hope that, somehow, he would find the strength to navigate this strange and dangerous new reality.
"Nah I'd survive," Ritsuka said quietly, his resolve hardening.
With that, he turned away from the desk and began to pace, trying to think of his next steps. He sat on the chair.

[NOTE: YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REVEAL YOU ARE CANDIDATE OF GODS AND GODDESSES. ARE YOU WILL DIE.]
Ritsuka stared at the glowing Status Window before him, scanning through the array of stats, skills, he had acquired. His mind buzzed with thoughts as he took it all in.
Ritsuka leaned back against his chair, a soft exhale escaping his lips.
"Pretty decent," he muttered, rubbing his temple to ease the lingering headache. "Spirit Summoner class, huh? At least it's practical. Being a Caster is too much of a hassle in this world... too much mana cost and memorization involved."
Actually, In this World, other classes are more popular than magician unless you are really talented. That's why Many choose combat class with weapons.
He glanced at the "Skills" section, his finger hovering over the skills.
"Now this... this is powerful," he mused, eyes narrowing. "But manipulating my enemies into revealing their gifts? That'll be the tricky."
Next came [Shiva's Destruction Flames. Lvl.1], a dangerous yet terrifyingly effective skill.
Ritsuka's gaze darkened as a memory of Kama flickered through his mind. A single tear rolled down his cheek, but he quickly wiped it away.
"I'll have to be careful with this one," he whispered.
[Vishnu Absolute Preservation. lvl.1]
"Now this is best barrier skill. I can tank any attack but I could only use it for once per day. I guess this is equal exchange"
[Morrígan Empower. Lvl.1] caught his eye, a skill that increased luck in battle through summoning black crows and ravens.
"Not bad, but what will its higher-tier version look like?"
Finally, his eyes landed on [Heroic Spirit Summoner [Authority]].
"A thousand Karma Points to summon a servant. Ten thousand for a permanent incarnation. And I can borrow their skills for 1000 KP," Ritsuka muttered. His excitement rose. "I could wield Excalibur or even King Gilgamesh Gate of Babylon! That's insane. But I wonder how much time I can use them. Maybe it depends on individually based on weapons. "
"So that's how this works. I wonder what is the reason No one reveal they are avatars of gods and goddesses. And why they fight each other. I don't see any reason. Maybe Once I become avatar I will get the knowledge and I also need to know about Demon God. There is no information of him in outside world. Hero association must have stopped most information."
Ritsuka leaned forward, considering his options. "I have 2,010 Karma Points. Should I summon two servants or keep some points for skills?" He rubbed his chin, deep in thought.
Then, a plan formed. He activated [Morrígan Empower], summoning a flock of black crows and ravens. The room filled with the soft flapping of wings, and an otherworldly presence settled around him.
"Let's boost my luck before rolling the dice," he said, smirking.
He grabbed a pen and cut his palm, letting his blood drip onto the floor. Using his own blood, he carefully drew a summoning circle.
"This is it," he whispered, his heart pounding.
[Using 1000 Karma Points to summon heroic servant]
[Mysterious luck affecting the ritual]
The blood-soaked circle began to glow, a brilliant light filling the room. The summoning chant poured from his lips almost instinctively, words of power resonating in the air.
Suddenly, the circle erupted with energy. The light grew blinding, and Ritsuka shielded his eyes. When the light faded, a massive figure emerged-a colossal gray wolf, easily three meters in length, its presence both majestic and terrifying.
"Lobo," Ritsuka breathed, tears welling up as he recognized the wolf. Without hesitation, he rushed forward, wrapping his arms around the beast's thick fur. The wolf responded in kind, nuzzling his master with a deep, rumbling growl of affection.
[You have contracted with a Higher Spirit]
Ritsuka laughed through his tears, his hands gripping Lobo's fur tightly.
"It's been too long," he murmured. Lobo growled softly, a sound filled with warmth and loyalty.
If Lobo had a voice then he would say "I missed you, Master".
