Chapter 8 - IX

As Father William's corpse began to move with unnatural force, the atmosphere of the church changed drastically. The air became heavy, filled with an evil energy that made everyone inside feel suffocated. Suddenly, William's completely broken body radiated a dark aura. His empty eyes turned pitch black, reflecting a deep and menacing emptiness.

With a single stiff but powerful hand movement, William released a wave of invisible energy. In an instant, one of the policemen who had been standing too close simply disappeared, as if he had never existed. Everyone in the room fell silent, watching in horror as someone's existence could be erased in an instant.

"He used existence eraser!" Maria shouted in a panicked voice. "We have to get out of here!"

However, before they could move, William raised his hand again. The dark energy now reached everyone in the room, infiltrating their minds like a spider's web. Daniel felt something cold and piercing enter his mind, disrupting his rational thoughts.

"Do not resist," William's deep, resonant voice sounded, though his lips did not move. "I am their will. Your minds are now mine."

Maria tried to fight back by chanting a prayer, but she suddenly froze, her eyes blank. Slowly, she turned to face Daniel, her face expressionless but full of hatred.

"Maria?" Daniel called out, but Maria did not answer. Instead, she raised the weapon in her hand and pointed it at Daniel.

"He... he's controlling our minds!" one of the team members shouted before he too stopped moving, his eyes losing their life's luster. One by one, Daniel's team members fell into William's control, becoming puppets that only followed his will.

Daniel, who was still trying to fight the influence, gripped his silver cross tightly. "William, if you're still in there, fight back! This isn't you!"

However, William's voice sounded again, this time in a colder and more evil tone. "The William you knew is gone. I am an extension of the will of Y'xerath-Molokh and Azazel. To fight me is to fight destiny."

Daniel knew that he didn't have much time. The energy binding his mind was getting stronger, and he was starting to feel tired of fighting. However, he did not give up. With the last of his strength, he raised his silver cross high and shouted, "In the name of the Almighty God, I command this darkness to retreat!"

The cross shone, emitting a bright white light that pierced the darkness inside the church. The light struck William's body, causing him to recoil in a violent manner. William's control over the minds of those around him began to weaken, and some of the previously controlled team members began to regain consciousness.

However, William did not give up so easily. "Do you think that light can stop the will of eternity?" He leapt forward at incredible speed, attacking Daniel with claws that radiated dark energy.

The fight was fierce. Daniel, though weak and wounded, continued to fight back using the power of his prayers and his silver cross. Every time William attacked, Daniel managed to block it, even though his own body was barely able to hold on.

However, one thing was clear: William's power did not come from himself. It was a direct gift from a greater entity, and as long as that entity remained, they would not be able to truly stop him.

"This is not over," William shouted, his body fading into the shadows before disappearing completely. But the sound of his evil laughter continued to echo, leaving them with a clear threat: this was only the beginning of greater terror.

When Father William's body reappeared, the already tense atmosphere of the church turned into one filled with panic. His body stood in the middle of the room, looking stronger and more terrifying than before. The wounds on his body no longer looked like ordinary damage, but like strange symbols that shimmered with dark energy.

His face was now covered in a terrifying grin, and his black eyes radiated a power that could not be captured by ordinary human reason. Around him, the air became cold like ice, and everyone in the room felt as if time had stopped.

One of the police tried to attack him with a gun, but before he could pull the trigger, his body suddenly fell to the floor lifelessly, his face filled with indescribable fear. Father William laughed softly, his voice filled with mockery.

"As I said," he said in a deep tone, "I am the will of Y'xerath Molokh. As long as that entity exists, I will never die. And now, I will show you the meaning of true power."

With a single move of his hand, a large building near the church, which had previously looked sturdy, suddenly collapsed for no apparent reason. A loud explosion echoed, and debris flew, leaving everyone in shock and disbelief.

"We can't stop him!" one of the team members shouted, taking a shaky step back. "He's too strong!"

However, that was only the beginning. Father William began to move at a speed faster than the human eye could follow. In an instant, he was in front of one of Daniel's team members, and with a light touch, the man instantly died, his body falling to the floor like a lifeless puppet.

"Cause and effect are my toys now," William said with a cold smile. "I decide who lives and who dies. And all of you are just pawns on my chessboard."

Daniel, still holding his silver cross, tried to fight back. "God won't let this continue!" he said in a loud voice, though fear was clearly visible on his face.

William simply laughed. "Your God left this world long ago. Now there is only power and will. And I am the embodiment of that will."

With his power, William controlled the reality around him. Every step Daniel's team took seemed futile, as William was always one step ahead. He turned the objects around them into deadly weapons, and every wrong move ended in an unexplained death.

Maria, who had been trying to protect Daniel, was suddenly thrown into the wall with enough force to shatter bones. "We have no hope against this," she muttered weakly. "He is no longer human."

But Daniel did not give up. "There is one thing you cannot destroy," he said in a shaky but determined voice. "And that is faith."

He began to chant a prayer in a louder voice, and for a moment, Father William seemed to stop. The energy around him shook, as if something were trying to fight the power he had.

"That prayer will not save you," William said, though for the first time, there was a hint of uncertainty in his voice.

But Daniel knew that this was their only hope. With the courage he had left, he continued to chant, hoping that there was a power out there enough to fight the will of Y'xerath Molokh, and save the world from greater destruction.

Just as Daniel's hopes were about to be dashed, a figure emerged from the darkness. The figure appeared unexpected, a man in tattered clothing, wearing a worn cowboy hat and boots that looked like they had been through many battles. His face was partially hidden by the shadows, but there was a sharp glint in his eyes that seemed to indicate that he knew exactly what he was facing.

William, who had previously been focused on Daniel and his team, turned sharply toward the man, his black eyes full of hatred. "Who are you?" William asked in a deep, deadly voice, as he raised his hand and created a wave of dark energy that swirled around his body.

The man did not answer, but his gaze remained firm. With slow steps, he stepped forward, seemingly unaffected by the dark energy that surrounded them. "I don't care who you are," the man said in a low, hateful voice, "But you threaten the world, and that is my problem."

With incredible speed, William struck first. A wave of black energy shot toward the man, but with a barely perceptible movement, the man dodged, moving like a shadow. Every attack William launched hit nothing but empty air.

"You have no idea what you're facing," William said with a wicked smile spreading across his face. "I am the undefeatable will!"

The man paused for a moment, as if thinking about something, then smiled slightly, seemingly unperturbed by William's threat. "Your will may be strong, but I have one thing you don't," he said, and with a swift movement, he pulled out a weapon hidden beneath his clothes. An ancient pistol, gleaming with a strange light.

The man fired without hesitation, and the bullet flew at high speed, hitting William's energy wave. However, the bullet seemed not strong enough to penetrate the dark power surrounding William's body.

"No one can stop me!" William shouted, now furious. He raised both his hands, creating a storm of energy that made the entire church tremble. Stones shattered, the ceiling cracked, and the floor shook violently.

However, the man remained calm. With a swift movement, he gripped his pistol tighter, and this time, he pointed it at William without hesitation. Before William could launch another attack, the man pulled the trigger once more.

But this time, the bullet shone differently. A white light accompanied the bullet as it shot towards William. Like a massive explosion, the bullet penetrated the dark energy and hit William's body. Unlike before, the attack injured William's body, reducing the dark power around him.

"What is this?!" William shouted, shocked. His body shook, and for the first time since the battle began, he looked a little weak.

The man approached, his steps calm but confident. "I know your strength, William. But no one can fight fate forever. Do you believe that will is stronger than the truth that exists out there?"

With a powerful hand movement, the man aimed his ancient weapon once again. However, this time, it was not just a bullet that came out. A bright white light containing unimaginable power shot towards William at a speed far beyond what he could avoid.

William tried to fight back, using all his strength, but the light hit him with a bang, destroying the darkness that enveloped his body. Instantly, William's body staggered backward, feeling the impact of the incredible attack.

"This is not over," William said, his voice trembling, but still full of hatred. "I will return... stronger than ever!"

But the man only nodded slowly, as if understanding that this was part of a greater destiny. "You will return, William. But in the end, all evil must fall."

With a final movement, the man pulled the trigger once more, this time with complete calm, and aimed it at William's heart. A blast of brilliant white light erupted from the gun, destroying the darkness surrounding William and shattering him into a dissipating dust.

William fell, his body disintegrating into forgotten energy fragments. And even so, the man knew that this was only one battle in a greater struggle. The darkness may have been defeated for now, but the threat of Y'xerath Molokh and Azazel was not over.

The man turned to Daniel and his team, giving them a small, knowing smile. "This task is not yet complete," he said. "But you have done your best."

With that, the mysterious man disappeared into the darkness, leaving them with a great question.

The mysterious man who appeared to confront Father William turned out to be not only a great warrior, but also possessed abilities far beyond ordinary comprehension. In that terrifying battle, the man used a very rare and extraordinary power, which not only defeated William, but also nullified all the powers and abilities that the priest had possessed.

The dark power possessed by William, which had been mastered through Y'xerath Molokh and other entities, turned out to be unable to withstand the man's abilities. He not only eliminated the dark power, but also absorbed it completely. Every black energy that had previously enveloped William's body was drawn into the man, as if he controlled the universe and changed the laws of cause and effect.

With that power, the man not only destroyed William's will and abilities, but also neutralized all forms of magic and other supernatural abilities that followed him. All the energy waves created by William be it manipulation of reality, the ability to control minds, or influence time no longer worked. They were destroyed and absorbed, leaving William helpless, staggering, and finally crumbling into dust.

But more than that, the man also has the ability to absorb the power he has absorbed. By absorbing this power, he not only temporarily gained control of William's power, but also gained control over the power that comes from Y'xerath Molokh and even greater entities. While the man may not have used it fully right away, he still has control over this powerful energy, for reasons that are unclear. Most likely, he is preparing himself for a greater threat, one that comes from the power he has absorbed, and one that may emerge in the future.

The man's power, which surpasses even his supernatural abilities, provides hope for those who fight against evil. However, the fact that he is able to control and absorb such power suggests that there are more mysteries yet to be revealed mysteries that will be key to fighting the greater threat to come.
