Ethan Pov:
I woke up two hours later and found the most dead drop gorgeous woman beside me and decided to be a good host before she disappears once again. Went to the kitchen and made breakfast for her and my sis. Well, the two most important women in my life right now.
Kept sis own in the microwave and left her a note on the counter saying I had to leave early. I don't want her disturbing me especially since I want to score one more with the beauty on my bed.
'That looks better on you, than it does on me.' Found her awake and in my bath robe. I don't mind sharing what is mine with her. Not usually my thing but I love seeing her in my clothes.
Last night she couldn't sleep without any clothes on so we had to compromise by having her wear one of my t shirts and I will be damn if I don't say that turned me on.
"What is that in your hands?"
'What does it look like?'
"You can't possible answer a question with a question."
'I can and I did.'
"Alright, I give up. What did you make."
'Come over her and see for yourself.'
She did what I asked and I couldn't resist pulling her into my hands, kissing her like my life depended on it.
"The food is going to get col..." She paused as we heard my sis coming out of her room and going down the stairs.
'Don't worry, I left her a note saying I had to leave early. So, she won't be disturbing us. Go on. Try it and tell me if you like it.'
She looked at me with amusement dancing in her eyes. I did say I want her for myself and I mean every word I had said yesterday.
"Hmmmm. Tell me, is there anything you are not good at."
'Still trying to find out myself. I have a good teacher.'
"Your sister?"
'Yes.'
We paused when we heard the opening of the front door and the locking of it. Freedom.
'So, since it is just you and I now here. What do you plan on doing today?'
"You mean after breakfast?" I nodded and agreed with her. "Well, since my personal assistant is absent from work today, then all my meetings can be put on hold."
We ended up spending the entire day in bed and in the living. Made love in every part of the house.
"Ethan! Ethan! I heard my sister's voice from afar.
"Ethan, wake up you are going to be late for work."
Knock Knock
Are not going to work today?"
'I am going.'
The previous day scenes flashed through my mind and couldn't help but smile.
'Thank you for waking me up sis.'
"You are welcome. I will be on my way now."
'Okay. Have a nice day.'
"Less I forget, can you get groceries. We are running out. I would have done it myself but I will be late today."
'No problem sis.'
"Will you be going over to Tracy's."
'No. Tracy and I are no longer together.'
"What!? What happened?
'We just decided to go our separate ways since we no longer on the same level of understanding.'
"That explains why I have not been seeing her around here lately. And since when did this happen."
'Almost four weeks ago.'
"That long and you didn't think I deserve to know about it?"
'I am sorry. I planned to talk to you about it but it always skips my mind.'
"We will talk more when I get back, got to go."
'See you later.'
I quickly freshened up and left the house without having breakfast. The fact I have something going with boss doesn't mean I can be late. Got to the office and for the first time since I started working here Jullie was here before me.
"Good morning, Ethan."
'Good morning, Jullie.'
"Are you feeling better now?"
That question caught me off guard but I schooled my expression and played along with game my boss has started.
'Yes, I am. Thank you very much for asking.'
"You are welcome and oh by the way Ms. Grey would like to see you in her office as soon as you report."
'Alright, thank you.'
I went to my office and drop my bag before making my way to her office. Knocked on her door.
"Yeah, come in."
'Good morning boss.'
"How was night?" she asked and made her way towards me.
'Great boss, a little bit cold and lonely.' She stopped right in front of me. Placed her hand on my chest.
Looking into my eyes as if she wants to read what is on my mind.
Placed her hand behind my head pulled my face down to her level and gave one hell of a hot kiss.
"You can go back to your office right now." Honestly, she is going to be the death of me. I am standing here with a bonerafter she kissed me.
'What about this?' I asked pointing my fingers.'
"You have work to do, remember."
'I do and a lot to distract me from you.'
I was on my way to my office when she called me back.
"Oh, wait Ethan. I want the files I asked you to work on when you are done."
'Alright boss.'
'And nice skirt.' I said to her.
"Thanks."
I met up with Jean for lunch just like every single day at work.Order for my usual drink and decided to have some mac and cheese today.
"I heard you weren't feeling too well yesterday. Called you, but I was not able to reach you."
'Wow! The rate at which information moves in this company is faster than a rocket.'
"True. And how are you feeling right now."
'I am good now. Sis made me some soup and I am all better now.'
"You want some?" She asked, passing me her fries.
'No, I am good.'
"You know tomorrow is Friday, right? Is it true that Tim will be coming here?"
'Where do you get your information from?'
"Stop being too professional. There is no secret in this company unless you pretend not to know."
'Like seriously.'
"Yeah, like seriously."
I couldn't get over the fact that Jullie has been passing down her boss's personal information to the stuff. Because if it wasn't her who else knows about her schedule. If not, how did Jean know about it and for the rest of the workers to find out.
I was walking angrily to Jullie's office to have a word with her when my phone rang inside my pocket.
'Tracy?' I said quietly and wondered why she is calling me now.
'Hey.'
"Hi, Ethan."
'Hmm.'
"How are you doing."
'Good. You?'
"Fine. I just wanted to hear your voice and ask how you are doing."
'Thank you.' Knowing her that is not just the reason why she called me.
"I am wondering if it is possible for us to meet tonight."
I just knew it. I changed my direction and went into my office rather.
'Tracy, we haven't spoken to each other for three weeks now. And you want us to meet up today, when you just called. What do want us to talk about. What do you really want from me. Just because you asked, you think I would drop everything and come running.'
"I am sorry Ethan. Please for the sake what we used to share. I just want us to talk. I love you and letting go is what I can't live with."
'Fine, eight. I will be waiting for you at the restaurant.'
"Alright, I love you.'
'Bye.'
I hung up the phone at the same time the adjoining door was open by Zephyr.
'Do you need anything maa.'
"I wanted to know if you are done with the flies." She said while pointing at the files on my table.
'Alright. Will finish and bring it to you when I am done.'
"Okay. I will be expecting to see it on my table tomorrow morning."
'Alright boss.'
I was done with the flies by 5:00pm and decided to drop them on her table before leaving. I opened the adjoining door without knocking because I know she went home an hour ago. Was surprised when I saw her behind her desk.
"Why are you surprised?"
'I thought you had already left; didn't know you were still around.'
"I came back not long ago."
'Alright then. I just wanted to drop the files, like you asked.'
"Go ahead." I promised Tracy I will meet up with her but why does it feel like I am cheating on Zee.
I dropped it on the table and said my bye. Turned around to leave. But before I could open the door, she called my name.
"Ethan!"
'Yeah.'
"Do you mind spending some more time with me in the office?" I will gladly do so if I hadn't given my word.
'I would love to do that but I have to go.'
"Do you have plans tonight."
'Yes, and I already gave my word, can't break it.'
"Okay, then, till tomorrow."
'Till tomorrow.' I walked up to her and gave her a kiss. Whispered Don't miss me too much before leaving the office.
I texted Austin on my way and explained everything to him. He asked questions that only Tracy can answer which is why I agreed to this meeting in the first place.
"What will you do, if she asks for a second chance dude."
'I don't know man.'
"What about your boss."
'She has a boyfriend. I don't know if I should take her word for it when she said they are just fuck buddies. The other thing I am worried about is that I want something serious with her not just sex but she isn't ready to commit to that.'
"Believe guy. People like her don't have a reason to lie. Why would she. She has the money and connections so why will she be lying to you, her stuff."
'Maybe. She came to my place the last time.
My phone rang right after I sent that text.
'Typical you. I knew you will call.'
"Tell me, what happened."
'We were just texting each on the phone forty-five mins later she was at my door step. Called to let me when she was and the rest is history. Oh, Rachel almost caught us.'
I explained how everything went down expect some details. The one-night stand was giving in details because I never thought I will meet her again. We said our byes when I got home.
