Chapter 1 - EARLY INTRODUCTION IN CAMPUS

It was an evening planned for many things travelling being one of them from the far end of Nyanza region. Raining being the reason of wearing heavy clothes covering our bodies from cold, George the father booked the"matatu" for overnight travel to the capital city of Kenya. As a man you're not supposed to eat hard food but smooth one mainly drinks. With that enjoyment and excitement, the journey immediately started opening my new life. As obvious doos, there must be music being played in the "matatu".I as a youth had expected the driver to play the new generation songs but as a shock to me the driver played the songs that pleased my father George and others in the "matatu" like Muia, Mali Mbichi, Felix Ogero, Lemaian and others more. As the itself sounds:Mali mbichi is so funny as the name sounds. He started saying"i know Joseph is not pleased at all but I guess when us old aged we'll get asleep your playlist will be played. Mine with that excitement I was not saying anything because my father would have judged me in my words.

As we reached the middle of the journey, Narok, we had to have a small break of having cores. Without knowing anything as a small growing youth, Felix Ogero the old man from his bag took out "BUSAA" for them to have a fun drinking it. There my mother Alice called me through a phone call in order to ask me where have we reached in our journey. "Mum am tired sitting" I replied :you are supposed to follow that because from Nyanza to the city is not a short journey, she said. After the end of a call it followed by a message of mpesa saying *you have received ten thousand shillings * then with a message saying "enjoy my son."

"Enter into the mat" I heard the voice from the driver David. There we had to resume our journey towards the honoured city of Kenya. As the word mahi mahiu sounds, it's not a good place totally because there the road is too narrow and with one lane. Here people were keen because it's said from past that mahi mahiu is where many accidents cases have been reported from and many deaths.
