Chapter 15 - VANISHED??!!!

I happily and joyfully skipped outside, feeling the warm sun on my skin and the gentle breeze in my hair. I was relishing the amazing scenery around me, taking in the vibrant colors and sweet scents of the flowers and trees. It was a beautiful day, and I felt carefree and alive.

But as I turned a corner, I noticed a woman looking at me with an intense gaze. It was as if she could see right through me, like she could see my organs and bones and everything in between. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I sensed a deadly aura around her. It was like nothing I had ever felt before - a dark and malevolent energy that seemed to be pulsing with an otherworldly power.

Despite feeling a strong sense of unease, I decided to act like I didn't see her or notice anything out of the ordinary. I kept half skipping and walking for a while, trying to maintain a sense of normalcy and calm. But I couldn't shake the feeling that the woman was still watching me, that her eyes were still boring into my skin.

And then, suddenly, I felt that same aura around me again. It was like a cold wind had blown in, sending shivers down my spine and making my skin crawl. I instinctively looked beside me, trying to locate the source of the feeling, and that's when I saw her again - the same woman, with the same intense gaze and the same deadly aura.

My heart skipped a beat as our eyes met, and for a moment, we just stared at each other. I could feel the air thickening around us, like the very atmosphere itself was charged with tension and anticipation. And then, just as suddenly as she had appeared, the woman vanished into thin air.

Vanished???? Can wolves vanish? I asked myself, my mind racing with confusion and alarm. I had never seen anything like that before. One minute she was there, standing right next to me with an unnerving intensity, and the next minute she was gone. Poof. Into thin air.

As a witch myself, I knew that only certain supernatural beings could pull off a disappearance like that. And wolves weren't typically one of them. Unless... unless she was a witch, too.

My heart sank as I realized the implications. If another witch had located me, it meant my hiding spell had been broken. I had been so careful, casting layers of protection around myself to keep my presence hidden from the witch realm.

But somehow, she had found me. And now, I had no idea what she wanted or what her intentions were. All I knew was that I had to be careful. Very careful.

I took a deep breath and tried to calm my racing thoughts. I needed to think clearly and come up with a plan. But as I stood there, trying to gather my wits, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in grave danger.

If the Alpha finds out about my identity, I would be killed. Oh no, not now. My revenge hasn't started yet. Noooooo, it can't end like this. I won't let some old-looking witch stop me from taking my revenge.

I've come too far, sacrificed too much. I won't let anyone, not even a powerful witch, stand in my way. I clenched my fists, determination burning within me. I had been planning my revenge for so long, gathering my strength, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And now, just when I was about to make my move, this witch appears out of nowhere, threatening to expose me and ruin everything. I won't let that happen, I vowed to myself. I'll do whatever it takes to protect my secret, to keep my revenge on track.

I'll confront this witch, find out what she wants, and make sure she doesn't interfere with my plans. With newfound resolve, I set off to track down the mysterious witch, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

But before tracking her down, I had a life here that I needed to maintain. I couldn't just drop everything and go chasing after the witch, not yet. So, I decided to continue with my daily routine, working in the day and doing my tracking at night. It was the only way I could keep up the charade, keep pretending that everything was normal.

As I went about my day, however, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in my stomach. Every little sound made me jump, and every stranger's glance made me wonder if they were somehow connected to the mysterious witch.

I could no longer take my walk peacefully, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. The birds singing in the trees seemed ominous, and the rustling of leaves sounded like whispers in my ear. I could no longer feel the joy that I had felt the first time I came out of that door, feeling the warm sun on my skin and the gentle breeze in my hair.

Everything seemed different now, tainted by the presence of the mysterious witch. I felt like I was walking on eggshells, waiting for her to appear again, waiting for her to disrupt my life once more. I tried to push the thoughts aside, to focus on my work and my daily routine, but it was no use.

The witch had left her mark, and I couldn't shake the feeling that my life was about to change forever. I felt like I was standing on the edge of a cliff, staring into an abyss of uncertainty. And I had no idea what lay ahead, or how I would survive the challenges that were coming my way.

All I knew was that I had to be strong, had to be brave. I had to face whatever lay ahead, no matter how daunting it seemed. And so, with a deep breath and a determined heart, I steeled myself for what was to come, ready to face the mysterious witch and whatever secrets she held.
