Leah got up to the loud clapping. She looked at the girl sitting beside her, who had forcefully shaken her out of her dreamland.

"What?", said Leah, "Cant anyone sleep quietly in this place?".

"Speech's over, dummy. They're announcing the 'Best Actress'", said Riley, shaking her head and then disbelievingly added ,"How do you sleep when Mina is there in front of you?".

"Nobody intercepts my sleep, nobody ", Leah said, as her head drooped again.

"Oh my god, Mina is looking right at us . What do I do? I need to look beautiful ", said Riley, suddenly in a high pitched voice.

"Yeah, shes wondering whos the major source of noise pollution in the area", said Leah and then looking up, added ," Shes so thin that if that fan was placed behind her, she would fly to us".

"Yeah, thin and gorgeous ", said Riley.

"I dont think she's changing to a lesbian soon, you dont have a chance with her", said Leah, smirking.

"Come on, be serious for once", said Riley, " Maybe I will get the award and get the chance to meet her".

"You were a tree in that play ", said Leah, " So unless the category is talking trees, youre not getting anything. Just shut up and let me sleep,my other job starts within half an hour"

Despite her choice, Leah's ears perked up at the announcement, from a distance she could see the head cheerleader Rachael gossiping with her fruends as they edged her, and then slowly as if in a haze....Mina opened her thin leafy lips....
