Chapter 11 - Purgatorian

"Master what should we do?" Kelphine said.

"Look for those that seek to betray me and make them suffer." A voice echoed in from the shadows of a dark damp cave. "First you must be punished for making me wait Kelphine." Yellow cat-like eyes glowed as the sinister voice began to move in closer to Kelphine.

"Master, please. I'll do better… Master." Kelphine began to get sucked into the shadows. He began clawing the floor, ripping rocks out from the floor. Kelphine looked frightened as his body disappeared into the darkness.

"It's surprising that even death is afraid of you Master." Dalphimare knelt down. With his head bowed. He did not dare look at the yellow eyes staring at him. "If I may Master."

"You may speak." The Master's voice sent a cool chill around the cave.

"The boy said the creature named Pops had found the secrets of our kind. The boy read his mind during the rift incantation. This Pops wished to kill us before we left. He could have killed me if Kelphine wasn't there. The boy would have given him trouble since he couldn't understand the boy's power yet. I ask, Master, to eliminate that group before it's too late." Dalphimare still knelt on the floor and could feel the gaze of the Master's eyes he felt as though the Master was going to punish him as well. "Out of respect Master, I sincerely think that this group is capable of holding the majority of us down." Dalphimare felt a stinging sensation on his arms. "Master, they do not have the power to kill you, but they are trying to free the one who can." Dalphimare spat out the sentence as fast as he could, grunting in pain.

"Call the others here at once. I wish to speak to them all. Kelphine will join you once he's finished with his punishment."

"Yes, Master." Dalphimare bowed and his head was pressed up against the cave floor so hard it began to bleed. He rose up with a bloodied forehead and began to exit the cave.

Ruins of a temple could be seen up on top of a mountain. A group of people in white cloaks and masks of animals could be seen meditating. "I found him in his room talking to his wife again." The man speaking tossed a man with a beard and a half mask covering his nose up. "This is the 100th time Gan has done this. He should be kicked out. If you don't tell the elders I will." The man who tossed Gan was wearing a mask that resembled a snake.

"Gan still has much to learn Tierain. His mask still hasn't developed, once it takes a form he will assimilate to the ways." said One of the disciples. He seemed different from the rest. He had the same kind of cloak, but he has a symbol on the back of his cloak. It was a figure with eyes that had the pupils shaped like a cross. "Do you know why the elders put me in charge of training Tierain?" The man paused waiting for a response. "They put me in charge because I had fought against the Other Master."

"Sorry Green Tiger." Tierain said looking at the man.

"Tierain you are so close to becoming the Diamond Snake. Your diamond is forming really well. Please take a seat with the rest and meditate." The Green tiger turned to look at the group, his face was green and had a head of a tiger with green skin and black stripes. His mask was not a mask anymore. He had merged with his mask to show the disciples that he was intune with it. "Your powers can only be as strong as your will. Gan stand beside me. I'd like to talk with you." Gan walked to the Green Tiger. "Gan I know you have been contacting that man in the prison. He cannot show you the way. He will be taken to the leviathan pit and they will take his soul. Focus on your training and assmulate to your mask." Green Tiger whispered to Gan.

"That Man is one of us. He isn't an NPC; we can't let him die. It's been 3 years since you saved me from that Master guy why can't you do the same for him." Gan began to back away from the Green Tiger. "I converted my religion from real life to become a monk of Purgatorians, and I'm sure that this man has that blood in him. My visions show me this man freeing us from purgatory." Gan looked determined.

"You will follow the will of the Elders boy. It is the elders that have visions. It is the Elders that command our hands. We do not disobey the Elders." The Green Tigers' voice became more furious like a tiger.

"I'm not a boy; I will not obey the Elders any longer if I have to prove to you that this man is the one who will free us by myself then I will…" Gans' mask fully transformed into a white wolf as he finished his sentence. "I'LL GO FREE HIM MYSELF!" Gan began running on all four fully changing into a white wolf.

Dalphimare and the boy in pajamas were walking out of the cave when they saw two figures approach them. "Vaxmind and Farten I guess you restored Masters powers to full." Dalphimare illuminating body seemed to shine very bright once he exited the cave.

A raspy voice began to speak "Dalphimare called upon the other sins. Don't let pride get under your skin this time." a swarm of locusts began to surround the body of Farten.

A deep voice coughing began to speak "Keep that Glutton... *cough*... away from... *cough*... me. He makes me sick." The man kept coughing hard after he finished his sentence.

"The temple should be a great place to summon them all." Kelphine said as he appeared through the entrance of the cave. His boney hands were shivering with fear as he stepped out to the light. A man exited the cave after kelphine. He was covered in a moving black shroud. The only thing visible was a yellow cat like eyes. He hovered over the ground.

"Get your horses and proceed to the temple. Hevian, use your pillow to teleport yourself and I to the temple." The man seemed to have everyone there scared.

"Yes, Master," said the group in unison.

The Green Tiger ran through the meditating group to chase after Gan, but it was too late Gan had disappeared before he could catch up to him. The Green Tiger yelled at the others to sound the alarm. So that the other monks will stop Gan. The monks ran up the steps and saw a green pillow with sleeping sheep blocking their way up to the bell tower. The monks grabbed the pillow and tossed it aside. A man shrouded in black was blocking the steps now.

"You shouldn't have touched Hevians pillow." The shrouded man said as he turned his back to walk up the stairs. A little boy passed through the man's body, and he looked terrifying. His eyes were black like a void his face wrinkled. The boy grew looking like a man in tiny pajamas. His teeth were sharp and serrated like sharks.

"Thats my pillow!" Hevian yelled at the monks. The pillow began to float behind the group of monks. The pillow ripped open like it was possessed by a demon and began to devour the monks. Hevian jumped up the wall and began running down towards the monks slashing and killing them all in one hit. "You are all sleeping now."

From a distance the green tiger could see four floating horses coming towards the temple. He yelled for the group still meditating to go inform the elders about the four horses. They did so in a hurry. The Green Tiger told Tierain to stay watching the rest of the class. Tierain nodded as the green tiger transformed into a half human half tiger. The Green Tiger jumped out from the temple and a Blue Falcon grabbed him in the air.

The four horses looked like creatures out of the world. The first horse seemed like it was sickly. The second horse seemed to have been created by insects, the third horse galloping on flames it looked like it was strong. The last one was a skeletal horse that flew with wings made of bone.

"This can't be, they can't be here. They were myths. I thought it was just a story to scare people from here." said the Green Tiger.

"You know when the elders said they fought them they were lying right." The blue falcon spoke. "We need to leave now, it's not safe if these guys are real, they will kill us all."

"The Elders are the strongest of the group and they should be able to handle these guys. We should get the disciples and retreat," said the Green Tiger. The Four horses were drawing near. The Blue Falcon and the Green Tiger flew back to the temple. "We must leave the temple. NOW!" The Green Tiger yelled at the disciples. They all began to run toward the door.

"*Cough cough*... where are you going?" Farten said.

"These guys aren't old enough to fight, leave them alone." The Green Tiger said to Farten.

"I can't help it, orders are… *cough* orders" Farten looked at the green Tiger and saw the symbol on the cloak. "You know too much you will all die." The cough seemed to abruptly go away. Farten raised his left hand as gas seemed to surround the disciples and Green Tiger. The Disciples began coughing and looking sickly. The Green tiger quickly took a deep breath and held it in. He proceeded to break all the windows on the other side of his disciples and let out loud roars that forced the gas out of the temple.

"You will not harm my disciples!" The green tiger roared.

"Too bad they are already dead," Farten said as he closed his fist and all of Green Tigers' disciples coughed up blood. Their eyes had become bloodshot, and they seemed to have trouble breathing. Some of his Disciples had died instantly, others were suffering. "I see not all of them were weak." Farten looked at the dying disciples.

"I will make you suffer." Green Tiger laid his hand on the floor and fully transformed into a tiger. He ran with intense speed and clawed at Farten. Farten dodged, ripping the cloak of the tiger's body. Farten looked at the cloak and it began decaying.

"You preach about the Purgatorians while you have no knowledge of them at all. Those eyes on your cloak are lies. A disease that is brought by mere creatures like you. I will let you live to see your friends die one by one." Farten looked at the tiger as he raised his hand once more. Green Tiger jumped toward him swiping at his arm. Farten dodge and swiftly moved to the Green Tigers disciples. He began shoving his fingers down his throat and vomited all over the disciples. The ones with the full effect of the vomit began melting including the bones. The others had burn marks. The Tiger jumped forward towards the disciples and roared once more. The roar pushed Farten back near a broken window. Tierain ran toward Farten with his newly formed fang. He bit into Fartens arm as he transformed into a giant snake. Tierain wrapped his body around Farten trying to squeeze the life out of him. The poison seemed to affect Farten as he knelt down in pain. "You are all fools." Farten said weakly as he stood up. "When you creatures die your mind stays stuck in the game." Farten looked like he was gaining muscles. "Well, The Director of the Fantasy-Sphere program created a fixated universe for those that died in the game during testing. People that died in the game wouldn't suffer and they would be taken to another place. These people were the Alpha testers…"

"There was only beta testing for this system. I read that in the article." The Green Tiger said.

"You shouldn't believe everything people tell you. Anyway…" Farten looked ripped as he grabbed the giant snake. "You are fighting against the Alpha's in the game. Immortals are what we are. You will be sacrificed to bring about the apocalypse of this world. Defy us and you will suffer in the next life." Farten crushed the giant snaked neck and tossed him out the window. He began walking to the Green Tiger as he lifted his hand once more.

Sound of a fight outside of the room echoed as six golden animals sat around a round marble table. The room was elegant and royal like with statues at every window of men and women with golden masks.

"We must go. Leave the disciples they are of no use." said a golden bat.

"We need to stop these men. They will kill all of them." A golden bear slammed its hand to the table.

"For once I agree with the bear." A golden shark floating in water that was suspended in the air.

"It has been a long while since I felt a presence like this." a golden owl hooted.

"It must be him. We should fight him. I can sense he is weakened." a golden ox snorted.

"Yes, he is very weak compared to the last time we met." a golden fox hopped on top of the broken table. "We need to stop him." The golden foxes voice seemed sweet. The double doors swung open and the only visible thing at the doors were yellow eyes.

"You should have joined me. You would have gained more power than you have now." The man cloaked in black said to the group of animals.

"What you are doing now this isn't what the President…" The owl began to speak but suddenly stopped.

"You will not speak his name. The man slowly began to uncloak himself from the darkness. "He did not create this world. I did. I have worked for him for years and I will never stop until I rule this world. You think it's just a game. It is a new reality, a reality that will adapt to your minds. When you link your minds into this world you already had thoughts about beating the Purgatorians. What you didn't know is that only Two of them exist: myself and the president of Radiation Inc. He will be dead soon and I will be the only one to manipulate the world." The room became pitch black. The eyes of the animals could be seen. The cat-like eyes had disappeared.

"Bats where is he?" The golden Owl called out. The Golden bats' ears were moving.

"Bear behind you!" The Golden bat yelled out. The bear quickly swung behind him but hit the man in the chest.

"I see you are all very strong… but not strong enough." The man opened his eyes and began fighting the bear. The bear blocked every attack, but his body was still getting injured. The fox yelled out to the bear to retreat but before the bear could jump out of the way the man grabbed the bears face and ripped it off. "Your masks give you power. Take out the mask and you're just a regular human with no power. The man began crushing the mask into dust. "Weak like your faith in this world." the man wrapped the darkness back onto his body. An elderly looking man was laying on the floor. "It's sad that my coworkers had no faith in my program, now you will all die." The cloak surrounding the man with the cat-like eyes opened up and flung itself to the rest of the golden animal's faces. The man ripped the masks off the animals, and they all were laying on the floor.

"If you all wanted to live you should have left." The man said as he summoned six black spears in the air.

At the top of the tower three horses reached the top each with their respective horse men. Vaxmind, Dalphimare, And Kelphine were at the top casting a spell. Dalphimare at the center holding a sword down into the floor while both Vaxmind and Kelphine spun around him chanting. A bright beam of light shot outward. Illuminating the sky as 4 figures slowly descended.
