The Human Order Restoration RTA starting from the return from Singularity F begins now!
After resolving a Singularity, there's plenty to do: checking dropped items, allocating skill points, conducting stress checks for each character, building relationships, summoning Servants, customizing weapons, and more.
Stress checks are especially important—if you skip them, you'll have a tough time in the next Singularity.
So, until we locate the next Singularity, Orleans, I'll focus on the tasks mentioned above.
First, let's hand over the doll containing Director Olga Marie's soul to Da Vinci. After that, we'll have a discussion with Romani and Da Vinci about what to do regarding Olga Marie's body. While we're at it, we might as well run stress checks in parallel. I'll grab some sweets from Homo-kun's stash for that. Since we'll be discussing things anyway, I'll pick up Romani before heading to Da Vinci's place.
And so, let's head to Romani's place.
(> On your way, you encountered Fou.)
"Fouuu!"
Ah, this little beast. The moment it sees someone's face, it always goes for a surprise attack. Is there something about Homokun's face that draws it in? Well, anyway, we've arrived at the infirmary.
(> You entered the infirmary. )
"Pardon the intrusion~."
"Whoa, you're awake already?"
(> Romani looked at you in surprise. )
"I thought you'd be resting a bit longer, but I didn't expect you to show up so soon. Do you have some sort of resistance to it or something? Well, no use thinking about that now. So, you're here about Olga Marie, right?"
(> You nodded in response to Romani's question. )
That's right. Let's hurry up and have this discussion with Da Vinci-chan, shall we?
"Alright, let's head over to Leonardo's place. It'll be better to include him in the discussion,"
(> With that, Romani guided you to meet the person known as Da Vinci. )
"Hey, Leonardo. Got a moment?"
("Oh, Romani and… Nozomi-kun, right? Perfect timing, I actually needed to speak with you both." )
(> In front of you appeared a stunning beauty, as if the Mona Lisa herself had stepped out of the painting. )
Ah, Da Vinci-chan. A sight I've grown more familiar with than my own parents' faces. Always grateful for your help.
"Hmm, not surprised, are you? Not even a reaction to such a perfect beauty? You're a tough one."
(> Da Vinci playfully nudges your stomach with her elbow. )
"Leonardo, let's get straight to it. We need to discuss Olga-Marie's situation."
"Indeed, that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you both about—the matter of Director Olga-Marie's body. First, though, could you show me the doll that now holds her soul?"
(> You handed the doll to Da Vinci. )
"Oh ho, now this is something... The array of techniques used here is astonishing. Intricate, yet executed so well that Director Olga-Marie's soul has been perfectly transferred without a hint of degradation. Yes, this will make her revival far more manageable. But really, where did you even get something like this?"
(> You explained the purpose of carrying such an item. )
"A Displacement for emergencies? …Ah, I see! With your kind of magic, it makes sense. This doll could serve as a vessel to absorb injuries or curses. Clever, very clever. And judging by its craftsmanship, it could indeed hold a soul with a few tweaks. I'd love to delve deeper into the techniques used here, but let's focus on Olga-Marie for now."
"Here, we have a device to create homunculi, so there should be no problem with constructing Olga Marie's body. The problem is what to do with that body."
"As for me, since it's a new body, I think it would be best to base it on the previous body while also incorporating Master suitability and the ability for Ray Shift."
"I think it's fine to use her original body. Given her personality, dealing with the Singularity... Well, I think it would be better if she took command here. What do you think, Nozomi-kun?"
Okay, it's time for a choice. Whether you choose Da Vinci-chan's option or Romani's option will determine Olga Marie's future.
You can choose Da Vinci-chan's option and solve the Singularity with Olga Marie, or choose Romani's option and leave Olga Marie in Chaldea.
By the way, the advantage of choosing Da Vinci-chan is that you can conquer the singularity more easily. However, Olga Marie's stress levels will be off the charts.
Romani's option increases the stability of Ray Shift. In other words, the chances of being thrown into the air or being sent separately are reduced. Additionally, Olga Marie's survival rate increases. Well, if there's a downside, it's that the number of people participating in the battle doesn't increase, so the singularity capture is less stable than Da Vinci's choice.
Here, we want to increase Olga Marie's survival rate as much as possible, so let's choose the option below.
(>You chose Romani's plan.)
"Okay, then let's go with the original body for the director."
Oh, right (suddenly).
I have a request for Da Vinci-chan, is that okay?
(>You took a bullet for an MP5 from your pocket and asked her if she could replicate it.)
"Leave it to me. There's nothing impossible for this genius!"
Thanks a bunch!
Also, let's make an additional suggestion to Da Vinci-chan. If things go well, she might come up with ideas for weapon modifications or improvements. Well, both of them do consume materials. The demand for materials is really high... isn't it?
(>You asked if weapon modifications were possible.)
"Hmm, weapon modifications, huh? The one you're using is... an MP5, right? Yeah, I think I can improve it using materials dropped by enemies. If we're going to do it, I'll try to see if I can improve the bullets too."
As expected, Da Vinci-chan's... technical skills... are the best!
(>Your suggestion made it possible to modify the weapon and generate and improve bullets.)
It would have been fine if only generating a bullet was possible, but it's great that weapon modifications also became possible. Additionally, the improvement of bullets is a big bonus.
Now, for a quick explanation:
If you bring the materials dropped by enemies and QP to Da Vinci-chan, she'll modify and strengthen your weapon. The DPS will increase, so if you have extra materials, keep bringing them to make your weapon stronger!
As for generating bullets and improvement, you can generate bullets with just QP. For improvements, you'll need both materials and QP. Getting improved bullets here is quite lucky.
Improved bullets can add additional effects to existing bullets. The strength of the effect is directly related to the rarity of the materials. Gold materials, in particular, offer some pretty amazing effects. You can deal damage to almost any enemy. Yes, "any" enemy. Even enemies that are completely invulnerable to normal attacks can be harmed. Truly, Da Vinci-chan, who created a Mystic Code that stuns any enemy, is amazing! Aren't you proud of that?
Well, in an RTA, you can't really afford to use a lot of gold materials like a rich player, so let's stick to using bronze and silver materials for battles.
As for my personal recommended improved bullets, I'd go with Dragon Fangs, which are relatively easy to obtain. These purely increase the power of the bullets. Also, you can generate around 30 bullets per Dragon Fang, making them cost-effective. So, they should be quite useful in the early stages.
Now, let's check the stress levels of the two before heading over to Ritsuka-chan.
Hmm, Da Vinci-chan's stress level hasn't increased. Romani's, on the other hand, has gone up a little. Just to be safe, let's give him some sweets to reduce it.
>You gave Da Vinci and Romani some wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets).
"Oh wow, this is my favorite sweet, red bean-filled daifuku! Thank you!"
"Oh, this is manju, isn't it? Quite cute, isn't it? Thank you."
I'm so happy to receive such precious sweets! So hurry up and lower your stress levels♡
By the way, giving Da Vinci-chan sweets is also for increasing affection. When affection increases, the QP and materials required for weapon modifications, bullet generation, and improvements decrease. Why, you ask?
Now, let's move on to Ritsuka-chan's room and allocate the skill points we obtained from this Singularity F.
The main skills to allocate are Displacement Sorcery and Endurance. To protect against "that" in Chapter 6, both of these need to be leveled up considerably. Magic power will be allocated as needed. If you're following the regular human route, it's good to allocate points to Agility to improve your escape speed.
By the way, as for the allocation ratio, I'd recommend 6 points to Displacement Sorcery and 4 to Endurance. As Displacement Sorcery levels up, the range of its interference will expand.
(>You arrived at Ritsuka's room.)
Knock knock, is anyone there?
(>You knocked, but there was no response.)
Alright, let's just go in. I knocked, so it's fine.
(>You entered Ritsuka's room.)
"Fou!"
(>Fou smacked you across the face with his tail.)
It's fine since Homo-kun and Ritsuka-chan are childhood friends, it's all good!
(>Ritsuka is lying on the bed.)
(>It seems she is asleep.)
".....c.....please.....stay....."
(>It looks like Ritsuka is having some sort of nightmare.)
>It looks like Ritsuka is having a nightmare.
Hmm? This is an event that occurs when stress levels are relatively high. If she continues having this nightmare, Ritsuka-chan's stress will increase further, so let's gently wake her up.
>You gently held Ritsuka's hand and called her name.
Good morning!!! Knock knock knock! Wake up!!! It's morning!!!! Such a bright morning!!!! It's so bright outside!! Knock knock knock knock knock! Good morning!! Knock knock knock!! Look, look!!!! It's bright outside!!! Outside!!!! Look!! Knock knock knock knock knock! Wake up!! Wake up quickly!! Knock!
"...Huh?"
(>It seems that Ritsuka woke up at the sound of your call.)
(>After staring at your face for a while, she suddenly hugged you.)
Wh-what the!? What are you!?
"I'm sorry... just for a little, just for a little, please let me stay like this."
(>Looking closely, Ritsuka's body was trembling.)
Hmm, it seems like it was a pretty bad dream. Her stress level has gone up quite a bit. Let's fulfill her request for now. Calm down, it's okay, take your time.
(>You gently pat Ritsuka's back to calm her down. )
(>After a while, Ritsuka seems to have calmed down, and the trembling subsides.)
(>Ritsuka pulls away from you and, embarrassed, blushes.)
"Hehe, sorry for suddenly doing that, okay? I don't really remember much, but I had such a scary dream... Wait, why is Nozomi here!?"
Eh... are you really just reacting to that now? (confused)
"Well, even though we're childhood friends, it's still a girl's room, you know? Next time, make sure to come in when I'm awake!"
Yeah, I'll think about it. (not really committing)
Now, let's check on Ritsuka's stress levels. Since this was her first time going through Rayshift and almost getting killed, her stress was pretty high. Plus, that nightmare event made it go up even more. Although my actions earlier helped bring it down a little, it's still quite high.
So, it's time to give her some of her favorite sweets.
(>You ask Ritsuka if she's feeling hungry.)
"Hungry? Now that you mention it, I am kind of hungry..."
Alright, I'll just stuff it in there!
(>You hand Ritsuka some sweets.)
"Ah, this is my favorite snack. You sure brought a lot, huh?"
Yeah, I brought plenty, so feel free to eat as much as you like.
While Ritsuka enjoys her sweets, let's talk about the flag that got triggered for her post-Singularity F. This is essentially a protagonist power-up event, or a "main character strengthening" moment. After completing Singularity F, there's a chance for this event to occur, where Ritsuka starts to show an interest in both magic and combat. The probability increases as you progress through the singularities, though after F, the chances are relatively low, so we got lucky.
Of course, Ritsuka is just an ordinary person, and her magic circuits are garbage, but even a little bit of training can allow her to take on a more active role.
For her development, I'd suggest focusing on training her in Gandr and attack-strengthening magic. Gandr improves her hit rate, and attack-enhancing magic boosts her spell potency. Both are highly useful, and I'd prioritize Gandr, especially since it directly impacts her survival rate. It should definitely be the top priority.
Oh, it looks like Ritsuka finished her snacks. Now, let's go ahead and talk about magic training. The actual training will be done later, because Da Vinci-chan will come to call Ritsuka soon.
(>You talked to Ritsuka about magic training.)
"Magic training, right? Yeah, got it. I'll do my best to learn. So, please take care of me, Nozomi."
*sigh* (Goku voice) Alright, I'll teach you properly.
And that's all for today. Thank you for *watching.
