The Restoration of Humanity RTA, which begins with joining Chaldea, has begun!
Well, we've finally completed Director Olga Marie's vessel. It's a doll that's small enough to carry with one hand for convenience. Next, we'll make the final adjustments over there, and once Olga Marie's soul is stabilized using the Soul-House Displacing Curse, the construction will be complete.
Once we return to Chaldea, we can create a clone of Director Olga Marie or whatever we need, transfer her soul there, and it will be like nothing ever happened. This way, we will have successfully prevented Director Olga Marie's death.
Now, it's getting late, so let's head to the front entrance of the Chaldea Gate. I'm sure Ritsuka-chan is fast asleep.
We'll meet Lev, but either way, we'll meet him during Olga Marie's briefing session, so there's no issue with running into him now. However, let's make sure to conceal this doll before we go.
If it's discovered in any way, the survival flag for Director Olga Marie might be shattered. Therefore, it's best to hide the doll in a location where it can be retrieved when heading to the control room after the bombing.
Also, let's sneak some sweets into our clothes. After the bombing, we'll head straight to the control room and then perform the Rayshift to Singularity F, so we won't have time to go get the sweets.
The reason we're taking sweets is due to stress levels of others. It's Ritsuka-chan's first Rayshift, and on top of that, we're heading to the hellish situation in Fuyuki, which will cause significant stress for Ritsuka-chan and the others. The sweets will help alleviate that stress. There's also the purpose of nutrition replenishment, of course.
Many of Chaldea's main characters enjoy Japanese sweets, so I used some leftover money from weapon procurement to buy quite a large amount. Some types of Japanese sweets can last a long time, after all.
In addition, I have bought a variety of other ingredients to help with stress levels during the initial period when the infrastructure is unstable. It will be a very tight squeeze until the infrastructure is restored, but I think it will be enough to last.
For now, I plan to take the Japanese sweets I bought in large quantities, starting with those that spoil quickly. Singularity F itself will end soon, after all.
So, I'll take a decent amount of fresh sweets—namely, manju, ohagi, and anko mochi. These are filling, and once they've eaten enough, they should calm down a bit.
With the sweets hidden in my clothes, it's time to move. Alright, let's go!
(> You headed towards the entrance of Chaldea.)
■□▪▫■□▫▪■□▪▫■□▫▪■□▪▫■□▫▪
(> You arrived at the front entrance of Chaldea Gate.)
(> There was someone collapsed on the floor, another person trying to wake them up, and a small animal nearby.)
(> It seems that the person on the floor is your childhood friend Ritsuka, and the one trying to wake her up is Mashu, whom you met earlier.)
You've arrived at the front entrance, just as predicted. Ritsuka-chan is asleep on the floor. Apparently, if you're not used to the spiritual dive, it can be tough on the brain.
And near the sleeping Ritsuka-chan, there are Nasubi-chan and Fou-kun. They seem to be trying to wake Ritsuka-chan up. Hmm, seeing this, it finally feels like it's truly begun.
(> As you approached them, the small animal noticed you first.)
"Fou Fou!"
(> The small animal leapt onto your face, then moved to your shoulder, settling there as if it were its designated spot, relaxing comfortably.)
What a bold little creature. And it's even wrapped its tail around Homo-kun's neck to make sure it won't be shaken off.
"Fou-san? Wait, you are…"
(> Mash's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at you.)
"Uh, you're Nozomi-san, right? What are you doing here?"
(> You explained that you came to pick up your friend, who was happily sleeping over there.)
"I see, so you were friends with Senpai."
"Mm, mmm…?"
(> Perhaps due to the conversation, Ritsuka began to wake up.)
(> After rubbing her eyes a few times, she looked up at you and let out a surprised exclamation.)
"Ah! Nozomi! Why are you here!?"
(> With those words, Ritsuka leaped toward you and hugged you tightly.)
(> She did so with quite a bit of force, and you nearly stumbled over.)
Please stop with the aggressive tackles.
And, to think that the initial affection level would cause this kind of reaction. Normally, she'd be surprised, but wouldn't jump at me like this.
(> You pried Ritsuka off of you.)
"Ah, it's our long-awaited reunion. You could've hugged me a little longer, you know?"
"You two seem really close. ...And it's the first time I've seen Fou so affectionate toward someone other than me."
"Fou-san?"
"Fou"
"kyaww!"
(> At the sound of Fou's call, Ritsuka finally noticed the small animal and let out a surprised exclamation.)
"Wow, it's an animal I've never seen before."
(> Ritsuka gently petted Fou's head.)
(> Fou seemed to enjoy the petting, closing its eyes in contentment. However, it suddenly hopped off shoulder and wandered off somewhere.)
"Ah, it went somewhere. Do you think it didn't like me?"
"No, I don't think that's it. In fact, I believe it likes you. Fou doesn't usually get close to anyone other than me."
"I see."
"Yes, now there are two more people taking care of Fou-san. This is certainly a cause for celebration."
Oops, Fou-kun ran away. That means that that jerk, Lev, has arrived. Let's get on with the story, please.
"Oh, so you were there, Mashu. It's not good to move around without permission... Hey, Nozomi-kun, is he there too?"
(>It was Lev coming towards us, his boots tapping on the ground.)
Yes, Lev has arrived, so the rest of the story will be like I saw it more than my parents' faces. To be honest, after this, I'll just move to the central control room with Ritsuka and take a bold shortcut by skipping Director Olga Marie's story by Ritsuka sleeping, and then I'll just take advantage of her and run away, so I'll double the speed. Super speed!?
In the meantime, I'd like to give a brief explanation about the game of tag with Lev.
As I mentioned last time, Lev wanders around Chaldea if Homo-kun is alive, but there are patterns to the route he takes. After testing, we have confirmed that there are a total of five patterns. So, if you take a route that doesn't overlap with Lev route, you can easily reach the control room.
However, there is no route that is completely uninterrupted. No matter which route you take, you will inevitably overlap with a route that Lev takes at some point.
So that's the first hurdle. If Lev isn't there, it will lead to a shorter time, but if he is there, it could lead to a loss of time. Be careful of that.
But don't worry. Unless you're exceptionally bad at sneaking, you won't be noticed.
Why, you ask? Because Lev field of vision is incredibly narrow. Why? Well, it's because, after the bombing, he's been smiling contentedly the whole time. What a weirdo.
So, his vision is pretty much wide open. As long as you get behind him, you can follow him without being noticed. You could even dance just behind him at an angle, and he wouldn't notice. What's up with your vision being so bad? No wonder you've been called a "blind fool."
However, if you use magic, he'll react instantly, so don't do that! (1 loss)
Oops, while I was explaining, Ritsuka-chan got slapped and thrown outside. I should briefly explain to Director Olga Marie, then follow up with Ritsuka-chan and say I'll accompany her as I go out.
(>You explained to Director Olga Marie that Ritsuka fell asleep because it was her first time doing a spiritual dive, and you mentioned that you would accompany her.)
"I see, so she fell asleep because it was her first spiritual dive... That's a bit unfortunate. I understand, I'll leave her care to you. However, once you're done, make sure you return here right away."
It's alright, don't worry~? I'll definitely come back, for sure (Big lie).
Alright, now that we have permission, it's time to move. By the way, I'd like to prevent a rare event that sometimes happens during the bombing.
Yes, now that I've received the director's permission, it's time to move. By the way, I want to prevent a rare event that sometimes happens during the bombing.
(> You left the central control room and headed towards Ritsuka, who seemed to have finally woken up from the slap earlier, blinking her eyes.)
"...Did I fall asleep?"
"Yes. If you're asking whether you were asleep, it seemed like you were in REM sleep, I suppose..."
Oh, Nasubi-chan is here too! Ritsuka-chan is surprised by Nasubi-chan's sudden appearance.
"Oh, I'm sorry to have startled you. But I thought you might not know where my room was after you left, so I decided to show you around."
...That was close. I almost made a mistake there. Now that I think about it, Homo-kun didn't know either. That was a slip-up. I almost mindlessly guided Ritsuka-chan without thinking.
Thank you!
"Senpai has been removed from the first mission and ordered to stay in her room. So, I will guide you to your room..."
"Kyah!?"
"Fou!"
(> You were unable to react to Fou's sudden appearance, and as before, it stuck to your face.)
Fou really loves attacking Homo-kun's face. What is with this creature... (confused)
"Fou-kun is attacking Nozomi face...!"
"Oh, I'm surprised. Normally, Fou-san ambushes my face, then circles around to my back, and eventually settles on my shoulder... You're really fond of him, aren't you?"
"Did you perhaps name Fou?"
"That's correct. There's no particular reason, but the word 'Fou' just came to me intuitively. But to figure that out, you're truly sharp, Senpai. You must have quite the intuition."
Ritsuka-chan can be really sharp at times. It wouldn't be surprising if she had an intuition skill. But please, don't apply that to Homokun... (earnestly)
"While we were talking, we've arrived at our destination. This is your personal room, Senpai."
(> You have arrived at Ritsuka's room.)
This is Romani's room where he slacks off. After parting with Mash-chan, the usual bombing terror begins immediately, and Chaldea shakes violently. There's a possibility that Ritsuka-chan and Romani might get injured from falling debris during that time, so to prevent that, I'll tell Nasubi-chan that I'll check on Ritsuka-chan's condition first (Big lie) and send Nasubi-chan ahead.
(> You told Nasubi-chan that you'd check on Ritsuka for a bit and then head out.)
"Is that so? Understood. I'll inform the director as well."
"Kyuu... Kyu!"
"Fou-san is also going to keep an eye on Senpai, I see. Well then, I'll be off. If we're lucky, we might meet again."
+> Mash said this and ran off towards the control room.)
(> After watching Mash leave, you entered Ritsuka's room.)
"Yea come in—wait, whaaat!? Who are you!? This is a vacant room, my slack-off space! Who gave you permission to enter!?"
Oi oi! Has Romani-kun, who got upset when Director Olga Marie removed him because his vibe is too relaxed been doing well? Homo-kun has come to slack off as well.
"Is this person someone you know, Nozomi?"
(> You were asked by Ritsuka, so you shared what you knew about Romani.)
"Ah, he's the head of the medical department here."
"What's this!? You've just arrived, and you've already become friends!? Damn it, I wish I could share in that social skill!"
Romani-kun is still as sulky as ever...
Now, as for what happens next, while chatting with Romani-kun, the bombing terrorist attack by Lev will start. At that moment, the lights will go out, signaling the beginning. Once the debris starts falling on Ritsuka-chan and Romani-kun, use the Displacement spell to protect them.
And that's it for today. Thank you for watching.
