In the south of Japan at Saga prefecture , there is a city called Tenko which are home to 53 961 people. This city also mean 'Old Paradise' due to some buildings structure are quite old.
Among the people that does their everyday tasks , errands and jobs , a girl by the name Tachi Mizuki is on her way to the meeting point where she meet two of her friends. Once she's arrive , her friends are already there waiting for her.
Mizuki: "Thank you for waiting , did I come here late ?"
Girl in yukata: "No , you just came here perfectly on time since we've just arrived 3 seconds early before you."
Cheerful girl: "Well , what's matter is you're here. So , let's enjoy our hang out !!!"
The girl who wear yukata is Tsubaki Hana. She usually spend most of her day in her family mansion. Today is exceptional because she were plan to go out with her friends to know more about current trends and trivials.
On the other hand , a girl with green one piece summer dress is Sentou Iruka. Her cheerful personalities to bright up the mood almost all situations are things that both Mizuki and Hana like about her.
They goes to the local mall for shopping then go to the arcade. They're having fun playing some arcade game but Mizuki notice that there is no any UFO Catcher type of arcade in the area.
Mizuki: "Hmm , that's odd..."
Iruka: "What's wrong , Mizuki-chan ?"
Mizuki: "It's nothing. I didn't realize that there's no UFO Catcher arcade here."
Hana: "UFO Catcher...?"
Iruka: "Never heard that kind of arcade before..."
Mizuki: "What !?"
Iruka: "Nee Mizuki-chan , would you mind telling us what UFO Catcher actually does ?"
Mizuki: "Huh...I don't mind...but..."
She begin to explain about UFO Catcher and how to play this type of arcade.
Iruka: "I see , so you use the crane that you control and it would grab the prize you want."
Hana: "I didn't know there's such an arcade like that."
Mizuki: "One day if you two would like to visit other cities, I can show you where we can play these arcade."
Iruka: "Alright !! , that's a promise then."
They continue to walk around the city until the sun is almost set.
At night after Mizuki goes seperate way from Iruka and Hana , she's going on her way to her home.
Mizuki: "Oh , I almost forgot. I ran out of dry seaweeds for lunch tomorrow. Might as well going to convenient store before straight to home."
She change her path along the way and come to the convenient store. After she bought stuffs that she needed , she continue to walk her way to her home. As she reach to three way junction , suddenly at the corner of her eyes , she see a little girl standing on her left side despite she want to go home right away on the opposite side. She ask the little girl who is not facing at her;
Mizuki: "Hey little girl , are you lost ?. I'm not quite well memorized with this city's street but I can help you find your way home."
Little girl: "....."
Mizuki: "Um..."
Little girl: "...."
Mizuki: "Hello-...!?"
She begin to notice that a creature is standing right in front of the little girl. This creature is completely covered with dark hairy body. Only the human face is featured and it's was smiling hideously at Mizuki this entire time.
Mizuki who is disturbed by the creature's smiled begin to engage her plan to save the little girl. So she begin to put her palm on the ground and immediately summon a tree trunk as it begin to expand toward the creature. She then press all the tips of her fingers to the ground then the edge of the tree trunk that reach toward the creature grow its spikes. As the spike reach toward it , the creature manage to evade then dash toward her with its wide hideous smile. She caught off guard by this turn of event , so she summon a whip out of her wrist and begin to swing around with it hoping that the creature will stop. It did worked as the creature stoped but the whip swing on its way to hit the little girl. All of the sudden , the creature jump on the little girl and manage to prevent from incoming whip. Mizuki is now confuse with the creature's intention but it begin to run away from her while holding the little girl hostage.
Mizuki: "Hey , hold it right-"
Hana: "What's the matter , Mizuki-chan ?"
She look on her left to see Hana suddenly appear beside her.
Mizuki: "Hana-chan !?"
She walk toward Hana and ask;
Mizuki: "Please call the cops , there's a creature currently kidnapping a little girl ahead of me."
Hana: "A creature ?"
Mizuki: "Yes !! , we don't have much time before it escape."
Hana start to grow concern for Mizuki;
Hana: "C-Calm down , you might've just seen things. It could be an animal or-"
Mizuki: "What do you mean an animal !? , I fought that things. I-"
Hana: "Very well then...how about we can -talk- about this tomorrow ?"
Mizuki: "....."
It just quiet for few seconds. Then;
Mizuki: "Okay then."
Hana: "That's reassuring."
Mizuki who is distressed few seconds ago suddenly change to her normal state. As Mizuki bid her farewell to Hana and went home , she just stand there and look at the night sky.
Hana: "Seems like there's an unknown intruder stepping into this city huh ?...."
