"I'm going to kill Liam" Faye yelled walking away.
Elena's heart burned with defiance.
Liam might not know what danger awaited him, but she would do whatever it took to protect him.
She just needed a way out. The chamber door creaked open, and two witches entered, their ethereal beauty masking the malice in their eyes.
"She's restless," one of them murmured, her emerald eyes narrowing.
"She should be," the other replied with a smirk. "Faye's plans for her aren't exactly gentle."
Elena glared at them, her crimson eyes blazing. "Why don't you untie me, and we'll see how gentle I can be."
The witches laughed softly, their voices a haunting melody.
"Soon enough, hunter," one said, her tone mocking. "Soon enough."
