Inside what seemed to be a living room, two beings sat facing each other, a table with two steaming cups of tea between them. One of them, looking somewhat transparent and ethereal, calmly picked up the teacup in front of him, took a sip, looked at the being he was facing, and said:

"So, I'm dead?"

The being replied, "Sure am," with a faint smile.

"Why am I so calm about it, about this situation?" the man asked.

"Why? Because I made it so, of course," the being replied with the same faint smile.

"Ah, makes sense." After a moment of silence, the man asked, "So, what happens now? Are you some kind of god, and I'm going to be judged or something?"

The being laughed. "Hahaha. Well, not exactly."

After a brief pause, the being continued, "You see, I was just like you at first."

The man tilted his head slightly and asked, "What do you mean?"

The being gestured toward the windows, which showed a vast expanse of space with twinkling stars. "This place... I don't really know what it's called, but you can call it the 'Sea of Chaos,' 'Origin Space,' 'Dimensional Gap,' or something along those lines. The important thing is, this is the place between all universes, realities, and planes of existence. Sometimes, stuff from those universes, realities, and planes gets flung into this place."

The being then looked into the man's eyes and said, "Yes, that 'stuff' includes souls too. Like us."

"Ah, so that's how it is!" The man said, then looked around his surroundings. "Why do you have a house, though? And how can you make me calm?"

"I was going to get to that." The being replied and after taking a few seconds to collect his thoughts, began his narration. "So, when I was probably flying through this place after being yeeted out of my universe after dying, I ran into this thing that I call 'Essence'. These are probably some essences of power, supernatural items and abilities that go flung off of some high power universes or planes. I call the essence I ran into 'The Sealed GOD'. It made me Omnipotent but I cannot leave this 'house'.

The man eyes widend and said in awe "Wow....." but he seemed to have thought of something and asked "Wait, how long have you been here, and doesn't it get boring? You can't leave here after all?"

The being laughed. "Haha, you don't really get what 'Omnipotent' means, do you?"

"Huh? What am I missing?" The man asked, confused.

"It's Omnipotence, man. With a capital O and everything. For example, I can create an entire multiverse in the palm of my hand, dive into it, and experience everything. So yeah, I'm actually having a blast," the being said with a big smile.

"Damn, that actually sounds pretty sweet," the man nodded. After a while, he asked, "So, what happens to me now? Do I just... like... stay with you or something? In fact, how did I even get into your house?"

The being shrugged. "Well, after I returned from a pretty good dive, I saw you stuck to my window. So, I let you in and made you calm with my powers. And here we are."

"Ah, good to know," the man nodded.

"As for what happens to you now... Well, you've got two choices. One, I just yeet you back out, and you'll probably float around for some time before landing in a universe and being reincarnated. You'd still retain your memories, though, because you got yeeted out before the cleansing took place. Oh, and fictional universes are real, by the way," the being said thoughtfully.

"Wait, really? How does that work, though?" The man asked, stars in his eyes.

"Well, it's complicated and not really your or my business. So, forget about it. The important thing is, if you get into those 'fictional' universes, it will erase all memories related to it. Don't ask why or how, just know that it does. You don't really lose out tho, in exchange, it will give you a 'blessing' of sorts. Higher talent in that universe's power system, better luck, you know, things like that. Overall, a good thing to have." The being said with a shrug.

The man pondered for a moment and said "Hmm, ok, that's fair. You said two choices, what's the other one?"

The being took out a tablet, smiled and said "The second choice is- I still yeet you out , but with some 'gifts'. In return, I get to watch your life."

"Let me guess, for entertainment?" Seeing the being nod, he rolled his eyes and muttered "Classic".

And looked at the being a bit cautiously "Just watch?"

The being nodded "Just watch."

"I still gotta ask tho, what happens when my life is not 'Entertaining' anymore?" The man cautiously asked.

"I stop watching of course, what else?" The being shrugged.

The man, after some moments considering pros and cons of the offer, "Fine, we've got a deal, but only if I like the 'gifts'. So, show me what you've got."

The being perked up and " Haha excellent. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be satisfied."

He handed the tablet over to the man and said, "These are the essences I managed to collect. They got stuck on my house just like you, so I picked them up—because why not. Now they're finally being useful. You get to choose 1,000 points worth of stuff."

The man took the tablet and after scrolling through for a while, said "Wow, I can get pretty good stuff with 1000 points from this. I'll be pretty much set for life if I don't land in a crazy high power world!"

The being laughed "Haha, I don't want you to die easily after all. Go on, knock yourself out."

THREE HOURS LATER

"Bruh...just choose something! It's been fcking three hours! How difficult can it be!!" The being half shouted, bored out of his mind.

The man looked up from the tablet with red eyes and said "Dude, it's a literal life changing decision, I gotta choose carefully! There are millions of choices.And everytime I'm about to choose something, an (arguably ) better stuff just comes out!"

"Hahhh....you are that kind of guy huh( extremely indecisive kind). Give me that." The being took the tablet and after tapping it for sometime, handed it back, saying "Here, check this out. It's a little over one thousand but I'll allow this. This will probably be in your alley."

The man checked the tablet and saw three abilities.

1=> Top Talent: You will have a very high talent in power system of the world you land in. If the world does not have a power system (a normal world), you excel in various arts and sciences.

2=> Easy Access Screen: All your powers, abilities and skill will be displayed in detail in this screen. There will be no such thing as unawakened abilities or hidden bloodline with this, your abilities cannot be sealed or stolen as well, all of your abilities will be for you know and for you to use to their fullest potential. All of your abilities will be very easy and convenient to use as well through this screen. This screen can also be programmed to perform simple repetitive tasks and continuous usage of your abilities as well.

3=> Copy: Permanently copy one of someone's abilities, talents or skills.

Note: This is a one time use ability.

The man stared, wide eyed at the tablet screen and whispered out "Woaaaaah".

"Yup, I knew you'd like that. Top Talent alone is already pretty good. Add to that Easy Access Screen will make your life just that much easier and more convenient. And if someone (most likely the protagonist) pops up with some batshit crazy OP ungodly skill or and abilities...Well, you've got Copy for that. How about it, pretty good huh. Ready to grab that and go onto your next great adventure?" The being asked with a smirk on his face .

The man looked at the being with a wide smile and said;

"Let's Get Started "
