Chapter 1 - The Betrayal

In Mussoorie, at night

A girl in a green dress stood with a blindfold over her eyes, at the edge of a high point that overlooked a vast cliff. A waterfall was visible in front, the view breathtakingly beautiful, though perhaps she hadn't yet seen it because of the cloth covering her eyes. She stood silently, seemingly waiting for someone.

She murmured to herself, "Where is he? He told me to wait here, said he'd come," and as she spoke to herself, her expression fell. She had been waiting there for about 10 minutes, but the person who had brought her to this spot, the one who was supposed to be with her, was nowhere in sight.

After standing there for a few more moments, the girl felt someone's presence behind her.

"Riddharth, is that you?" she asked.

Riddharth replied, "You called, and here I am, Miss Trishika Thakur."

Trishika immediately turned toward him and quickly said, "Then please, take off my blindfold now."

Riddharth looked at her face for a moment, then moved forward and gently removed the blindfold. Trishika immediately opened her eyes. Her caramel-brown eyes, those sweet eyes, were gazing into Riddharth's dark hazel ones.

Smiling, she said, "So, this is the surprise?"

She looked past him, her eyes catching sight of a large tent behind Riddharth. It was white, decorated with sidelights that illuminated it beautifully.

Trishika quickly said, "You did all of this for me?"

Holding her face in his hands, Riddharth replied, "Had to do this much for my girlfriend, my fairy. You know how much I love you."

Trishika smiled and said, "I know, and I love you too," as she suddenly hugged Riddharth tightly. Riddharth gently bent down and kissed her on the head, holding her even tighter.

Softly, he said, "Happy 18th birthday, fairy. This birthday will be unforgettable for you."

Trishika paused for a moment and said, "I know you'll make this birthday unforgettable for me," she said, looking up into his eyes.

Riddharth kissed her on the forehead and then, the next moment, lifted her into his arms. Trishika immediately held onto his collar, her heart pounding wildly. She probably knew what was about to happen next.

Looking into her eyes, Riddharth carried her to the tent. It was already open on one side. He took her inside and gently laid her down on the mattress, closing the tent securely. Trishika lay there silently, watching him. It was cold outside, but inside, the atmosphere was a little warm, perhaps thanks to the arrangements Riddharth had made.

Sitting beside her, Riddharth looked at her and said, "So, fairy, I want to tell you that…"

Trishika interrupted, "Riddharth, I need to say something."

Looking into her eyes, he replied, "I'm listening, fairy. Go on."

Trishika said softly, "I want you. I know that you also want me, just like… I mean, you understand what I want to say. With no distance between us, just you and me."

Riddharth placed his hand on her cheek and said, "Think about it, fairy. I don't want you to have any regrets later."

Trishika quickly replied, "I won't have any regrets. I know, I truly know, Riddharth, how much you love me, and I love you."

After a brief pause, Riddharth said, "Then alright, I don't have any problem, fairy. After all, I love you the most," he said, immediately capturing her lips in a kiss.

Trishika closed her eyes at once. Her fingers slowly began massaging his scalp. As they kissed, Riddharth gently laid her down again. Their lips didn't part as they continued exploring each other's mouths.

After a while, Riddharth released her lips, giving her lower lip a slight bite as he did. Trishika's eyes remained closed as she took deep, long breaths, her lips glistening with saliva. Riddharth began kissing her face and gradually moved downward. Trishika's dress, which was already sleeveless, allowed his hand to move across her body. He slowly slid his hand down, gripping her curves, while her soft gasps reached his ears.

Riddharth, losing control, suddenly tore her clothes to the side. Trishika, now in her bra and panties, opened her eyes slightly and looked at him.

Coming close to her face, Riddharth said, "Think about it, fairy. There's still time."

Looking into his eyes, Trishika said, "I've given up all my chances for you, for your love."

A faint smile appeared on Riddharth's lips. Leaning down, he bit her neck, making her gasp aloud. She tightly bent her knees and grabbed his hair with her hands. Riddharth continued moving down her upper body, leaving marks along the way. When he reached her cleavage, he paused briefly, then gave it a soft bite.

Trishika cried out and quickly said, "Riddharth, it hurts."

Looking at her, he replied, "You'll have to bear it, fairy; it's only fair."

Trishika watched him quietly, her breathing still fast, her chest heaving with each breath. Riddharth lifted her up suddenly, unclasped her bra, and set it aside. His gaze darkened as it rested on her bosom.

Riddharth laid her down again, intent on leaving his marks across her upper body. Their sounds carried outside, but there was no one around to hear them. It was just the two of them, alone in the moment. Gradually, the remaining clothes slipped off their bodies, leaving them scattered beside them.

Riddharth intertwined his fingers with Trishika's, gently placing her hand to the side. He moved close to her face again. Beads of cold sweat appeared on Trishika's forehead.

Looking into her eyes, Riddharth asked, "Are you ready, fairy?"

With a slight smile, Trishika replied, "I'm ready for you."

Riddharth gazed into her eyes for a moment. He held her lower back gently, pulling her closer, and in a swift motion, entered her. Trishika screamed, the pain intense. Riddharth immediately captured her lips, helping her focus away from the pain, which it did. Trishika's attention shifted from the pain, and slowly they lost themselves in each other's kiss, with the pain Trishika felt fading away. After that, neither of them stopped.

From outside the tent, their silhouettes could be seen, revealing what was happening inside. Inside, their intensity showed no signs of diminishing. About an hour and a half later, Trishika was utterly exhausted.

She looked at Riddharth and said, "I'm tired."

Looking at her, Riddharth replied, "That was bound to happen, fairy. You're not in too much pain, are you?"

Trishika looked at him and said, "Not at all, not for you… I mean, for you."

Without saying anything further, Riddharth held her close to his chest, running his fingers through her hair as he said, "We still have to cut the cake."

Trishika softly said, "Do you think I'm in any condition to cut the cake? I won't do it, you cut it yourself and eat it yourself. I just want to sleep with you," and with that, she closed her eyes. Riddharth looked at her face for a moment before giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead.

The next morning, Trishika suddenly opened her eyes. She looked beside her, but there was no one there.

She murmured to herself, "Riddharth must be outside," as she sat up. Trishika stretched and looked at herself.

She was wearing Riddharth's shirt from last night—the white one. White suited Riddharth well, and it was her favorite; she thought he looked amazing in it.

Trishika immediately went outside to look but didn't see Riddharth. She quietly stepped out, feeling a faint ache between her legs, but it wasn't bothersome—she didn't mind the pain. She muttered to herself, "Where has he gone?" as she walked forward. Within moments, she was standing at the edge of the cliff. She glanced down toward the valley below, then gazed at the waterfall ahead. The view was stunning.

Softly, she said, "It's all so beautiful."

Just then, Riddharth wrapped his arms around her from behind, one hand resting on her stomach.

After a pause, he asked, "How much do you love me?"

Trishika quickly replied, "What kind of question is that, Riddharth? I love you so much I could die for you. I'd do anything."

Riddharth suddenly turned her around. Trishika placed both her hands on his chest, looking into his eyes. Riddharth paused for a moment before saying, "You could die for me?"

With a smile, Trishika said, "Try me—I'd die for you."

With an expressionless face, Riddharth replied, "Then die."

Before she could understand, he pushed her forcefully. She couldn't catch herself and began falling, screaming as she looked up at Riddharth. His hands were in his pockets, a twisted smile on his lips, as if this was what he'd wanted all along. Watching him, a single tear escaped from Trishika's eye.

After two years

Gurgaon, Haryana…

In a two-story house, a girl was standing in the balcony of a room on the first floor, looking out. The moonlight was falling on her face, and the weather was quite chilly.

Her entire focus was on the moon, when suddenly a voice came from behind, "Trishika."
