After a while, Ezaki Kitazawa's parents tried to introduce their son in front of the reporters.
But unfortunately, the reporters weren't interested. For them, Ezaki Kitazawa had no selling points. However, because of the professional heroes being present, they pretended to interview him, but they would definitely cut him out later.
Ezaki Kitazawa only managed to say a few words before the reporters interrupted him and continued the interview with Ryukyu, completely ignoring him.
Ezaki Kitazawa gave a wry smile, greeted his parents, and then went home.
As for the system, Ezaki Kitazawa didn't fully understand it, so as soon as he got home, he immediately opened the panel.
Host: Ezaki Kitazawa
Quirk: Netherworld Flame (58/1000)
Generation Points: Chapter 100 (Met the requirements to generate Quirks)
Inventory: Beginner's Gift Pack.
Once the panel was open, Ezaki Kitazawa quickly noticed the Beginner's Gift Pack in the inventory.
"A Beginner's Gift Pack?"
After hesitating for a few seconds, Ezaki Kitazawa opened it.
*Ding dong...*
"Congratulations, the host has gained a new Quirk 'Vines.'"
"Vines?"
Ezaki Kitazawa paused for a moment, feeling a bit curious.
"What kind of Quirk will this be?"
To test it out, he went to his backyard.
Then, he activated his Vine Quirk.
Suddenly, several vines, about the size of arms, shot out of the ground.
All their movements were controlled by Ezaki Kitazawa's thoughts.
"Not bad, this Quirk can attack, control, and even restrain," Ezaki Kitazawa muttered.
He was quite satisfied with the new Quirk he had gained. Although it might not be very strong in the early stages, since he had the system, he could evolve this Quirk.
For example, his original Quirk was pretty useless in battles, like against the half-beast, causing only minor damage. But after evolution, it became the Ghostly Flame with an added feature: it couldn't be put out.
"Mm? Generation Points are enough to meet the standards for creating a new Quirk, let me try another one," Ezaki Kitazawa looked at the panel and quickly clicked.
However, the next second, a prompt box popped up.
"Ding-dong... There is a low-level Quirk in your list. Please evolve it to intermediate before generating a new Quirk."
"It seems I need to improve the acquired Quirk before I can get a new one," Ezaki Kitazawa muttered.
Looking at the updated panel, Ezaki Kitazawa had already become familiar with how the system worked.
Host: Ezaki Kitazawa
Quirk: Netherworld Flame (58/1000)
Vines (0/500)

Meanwhile, in the U.A. Principal's office.
Aizawa Shouta walked in holding a list.
"Principal, take a look. There's another person running for the recommendation list," Aizawa Shouta said as he handed over the list.
"Who?"
The principal took the list curiously.
"Both of his parents are outstanding professional heroes, but looking at the information, his son doesn't seem to meet the requirements. However, his parents strongly recommend him. This is a tricky situation, so I'll leave it to you, Principal," Aizawa Shouta said, sounding uninterested.
For troublesome matters like this, Aizawa Shouta's approach was to pass them on whenever possible.
"Is that so?"
The principal didn't respond right away. Instead, he focused on reading the list.
The name at the top right corner of the list was Ezaki Kitazawa.
"Name: Ezaki Kitazawa."
"Quirk: Ember."
When the principal read this, Aizawa Shouta added, "Ember... this Quirk is probably just a common one. The information says it's nothing special, probably just some fire-creating ability. It doesn't seem to be very useful."
The principal nodded, "But this list does say his physical condition is quite good."
"These days, if the Quirk isn't strong, good physical condition won't be of much use. Unless his parents are top-tier professional heroes, I generally wouldn't even consider applications like this."
"But those two heroes are hard to communicate with. If I don't handle this, they'll go through another process, and I'll still have to deal with it later."
Aizawa Shouta waved his hand, looking a bit helpless.
"Then let this Ezaki Kitazawa come to U.A. and bring his parents along. That way, if it doesn't work out, at least they'll give up," the principal said calmly.
Aizawa Shouta paused for a few seconds, then said, "Alright."
