Chapter 2 - Second Entry, Unforgiven.

As soon as Skelm slips on the ring, the statue starts to crumble apart, old stone falling from the statue, Skelm watches as this unfolds right in front of her. But as the stone continues to fall, her eyes widen, what she once thought was a lifelike statue of Móðr was now the actual lesser god standing in front of her. once the stone falls completely, Móðr wakes up and looks over to Skelm "I see, so you must be my liberator then," he examines her carefully and approaches her. "And what exactly is your name?" Skelm is still a bit disoriented and stammers a bit before trying her best to speak, "Oh!.. I.. I. My name is S-Skelm, Fenhymm.." Móðr raises his brow and continues to examine her. "Skelm? Well, Skelm. I wonder, how have you found me?" He looks at her dragon like features, "I.. fell down here and I.. just found you I guess."

She sees the way that he's looking at her and feels a little insecure at how he's looking at her features. "Yes, anyways, I suppose you want to get out of here now. If I remember clearly, there should be a lever.. up there!" He points towards a lever on the ceiling, "I.. I have to climb up there? But how am I supposed to get up there?" Móðr laughs softly and shakes his head, he looks up towards the lever and floats towards it, as he reaches it, he pulls it and a wall starts to open up. "Ah, you forget, magic." He floats back down and walks through the opening in the wall with Skelm, "Ms. Fenhymm, where do you come from?" Skelm had been looking at the ground before, though as she heard her name she looked over at him nervously "Oh.. umm, Nightshear.. it's a small village," she said shyly. She was still a bit disoriented from her previous fall and still in disbelief that a lesser god was now walking beside her.

They walk through a series of turns until they reach a light source, the exit. "Now then Ms. Fenhymm, let's go." They exit the cave out into a deep forest, it was now early morning, Skelm discarded the torch since it was no longer needed. "Say.. Ms.Fenhymm, mind if I accompany you to the nearest town?" He looks towards Skelm, she's surprised by the question "I-.. I suppose so.. but why?" A curious look appears on her face as she leads him to Autumnhill. "Well, there are some things I need answered." Skelm is still a bit curious but just leaves it, Autumnhill is a mild distance away from them. The sun is rising, and the more it does the better it illuminates her face, she has ginger hair which is wrapped in a ponytail with bangs and braids on either side of her face. She has pointy ears and horns coming out of her head, brown eyes, a cloak and some armor. She is nearly nine feet tall at around eight feet and nine inches tall, which is about a foot and seven inches taller than Móðr.

"Ms. Fenhymm, I'd like to know of your story." Skelm is caught a bit off guard but thinks for a moment, "My story? I guess it starts when I was born two decades ago, my parents were smiths who often worked all the time, so I was left with all the time in the world to do whatever I wanted. I used to read and play with my friends, it was boring back then.. it was peaceful though, until I was about nine or so. A group of orcs purged my village and took me and my friends. I managed to escape before I was subjected to do 'activities' like they did to my friends, they violated them. I trained everyday to save my friends, but when the time came.. it was already too late, my friends were killed. All that was left was me and bodies everywhere, my friends and orcs. Then.. This sudden fear had left me trembling, if I was weak.. I would end up like them." Skelm said with some sorrow in her voice. Móðr had been listening intently to her story and sighed "I'm sorry you had to go through that, Ms. Fenhymm. You've endured much and I'm sure you know of my story aswell? I, the once golden child of my bloodline, exiled and thrown away because I was falsely accused of treason by my brother.. it wasn't true.. I don't know why he did it."

"Sibling rivalry, I see. Well don't be sorry for me now, it was in the past." Skelm says while crossing her arms around her chest. Móðr looks up at Skelm before asking "Ms. Fenhymm, what is the year? Surely it's been some time since I was exiled, right?" Skelm looks down at him and sighs a little "it is the 5th Era, 147. It's been nearly five thousand years since your era." Móðr gasps a bit and thinks about how long he was a stone statue for. They walk for a while before stepping foot in Autumnhill. "We're here, the closest town like you said, what did you want to do here?" Móðr looks up and smiles softly, "A drink, and also I wanted to ask a few more questions." Skelm just looks at him before walking into the closest tavern. "Well then, shoot."

Móðr and Skelm drink as Skelm answers Móðr's questions. "Right, is that it for your questions or are you done with them?" Skelm says while sipping on her drink slowly, it's only her second one, as for Móðr it's his sixth. "Well, I think that was all, well now, actually.. one more, would you like to perhaps become my companion?" Skelm sips again with a raised eyebrow, she finishes the drink and places it to her side "What do you mean your companion? Are you planning to go on an adventure now? I suppose I will then," Móðr finishes his drink to and places it to the side aswell, "What I mean is that I want you to help me on a journey, to help me restore my glory back as a lesser god and prove I am not treasonous." Skelm's eyes widen in surprise, to Skelm he sounds crazy and she stammers a bit "W-What?! What d-do you m-mean 'Restore your glory'? Are you mad," Móðr chuckles at her reaction and gets up, holding his hand out.

"Well you already accepted, come on Ms. Fenhymm." Skelm grumbles a bit and grabs his hand to get up, she quietly cursed him under her breath and walks with him. "Fine but.. how are we even going to do that? It seems pretty impossible to be accepted back like that." Móðr thinks for a bit before smirking confidently, "I just have to prove my worth to the gods, or my family, by doing something incredible that they can't miss, that's how. And if that doesn't work, I must confront them personally." Skelm sighs and thinks about what she got herself into and just shakes her head in disbelief. They walk out off the tavern and Móðr takes a look around, "Maybe.. I know where to start, have you heard of the Blades of Poisongarde?"

Skelm takes a second to think of what it was and remembers for a second, "Aren't they those sacred group of blessed knights?.. you aren't trying to say that you want to fight them right?" Móðr nods with a smile on his face "Yes, they are those blessed knights, they're also enemies to my people, we will fight them and they are a small group.. the only matter is.. they're all scattered around this planet. So it'll be hard to find them, but that's the thrill isn't it? The chase," Skelm groans but goes along with his plan since she did agree to helping him on his journey.
