Chapter 8 - 08. Date (1)

Dane admired Cassie from afar as she made her way towards him.

He took the time to appreciate the figure on the corporate dress of hers.

Cassie was proportionately endowed.

Nothing was too much or too little on her.

She walked with the elegance and confidence that was expected of someone of her calibre.

Several staff greeted her as she walked towards the exit and as she responded to them, she increased her pace on seeing a figure standing by a bike with a helmet.

She slightly bent her head, wondering if that was Dane since she could not see past the helmet.

She was not exactly sure.

Cassie knew that Dane rode a bike, but she did not consciously register the aesthetics of the vehicle deeply enough to remember what it looked like.

Regardless, she took out her phone as she continued walking, attempting to call Dane when she noticed that this helmeted person was waving at her.

Cassie smiled because she had then confirmed that it was Dane.

As soon as she reached where Dane was standing, she stood still.

Cassie could not utter a word and hoped that Dane would remedy the situation before it turned awkward.

Dane, on the other hand, expected her to be shy since it would be the first time they would be spending time together.

"Hello, Princess..." Dane called her, taking the leap of faith in believing that Cassie wouldn't take offence to the nickname he gave her.

Instead, Cassie blushed generously as she looked away from Dane.

Dane clicked the side of his helmet, causing the visor part of it to lift, revealing his eyes as she stared at Cassie.

Seeing his eyes, Cassie felt better at ease now that she knew for certain that it was Dane.

"N-Nice bike," Cassie mumbled, shifting her attention to the bike.

It was indeed a beautiful vehicle, especially with how the red and black colours complemented each other.

Cassie, however, did not think Dane would have come in a bike.

She had asked her driver not to bother picking her up today because she wanted to handle things on her own.

But Cassie had never entered a bike before and was hesitant to make this her first experience.

Dane patted the bike and chuckled.

"Yeah. This is my baby girl," he said with profound pride.

Cassie could detect in his voice just how much he loved the bike.

It was that obvious.

"Ready to go have lunch?" Dane asked, smiling underneath the helmet.

Cassie nodded.

Even though she was willing to spend time with Dane like she had always wanted to, she was sceptical because of the bike.

Cassie had never been on the bike before.

If she needed to go anywhere, no matter the distance, she always had a driver to take her.

Now, she was going to go from that level of status to riding a bike.

She was not exactly sure if she was comfortable with doing that.

Dane noticed this sense of doubt on her face.

"You haven't ridden a bike before?"

Cassie shook her head.

Dane immediately understood where this hesitancy was coming from and took her hand, placing it in between his as he reassured her.

"Don't worry about it," he said. "I'm here. You can always hang on tightly to me."

Cassie looked at him for a few seconds and then nodded.

While Dane's words did not quell her fear, he did provide some sort of solution to the problem and that was for her to grab on tightly to him.

Dane turned around and hopped on the bike, loosening the second helmet he had to give to Cassie.

"Here you go," Dane said as he handed her the helmet before helping her wear it appropriately.

Cassie gave both rider and vehicle a critical look again before taking a gulp and following suit.

She trusted Dane and believed he wouldn't ever want to put her in danger, at least not in this way.

Cassie was wearing a pair of corporate trousers that exhibited how thick her thighs were.

Because of this, it was easy for her to climb the bike and sit behind Dane.

Dane was yet to ignite the bike when Cassie grabbed him from behind, her arms wrapping around his lower abdomen.

He glanced down at them and smiled as he shook his head.

Her soft breasts pressed firmly against Dane's back, a sensation he seemed to cherish at this point.

He knew she was afraid and all he had to do was to calm her down.

It would take more than words to do so.

If driving slowly was what it was going to take, then Dane was ready to compromise.

After all, she hugged him very tight and he loved how it made him feel at the moment.

"Hang on tight, passenger princess," Dane announced as the engine of the bike revved, causing Cassie to hold him even more tightly as they drove off.

———

Ordinarily, Dane would have reached their destination in roughly about 10 to 15 minutes but considering that he had to go at a lower speed than what was normal for him, they arrived a bit later than the usual time.

All through the journey, Cassie never removed her arms from around Dane's waist as she held onto him tightly and pressed her bosoms against his back.

"Here we are," Dane announced excitedly after a 20-minute ride.

Cassie, who closed her eyes throughout, finally opened her eyes to observe her surroundings.

She was surprised as this was not the location they discussed.

This was not Dane's house like they planned to meet up.

Dane removed his helmet and locked his bike now before turning his attention to Cassie.

"Well, I had an unfortunate accident with gas at home," Dane began to explain, "and since I didn't want to cancel the date, I thought I'd take you elsewhere."

While Cassie heard everything he said, her brain decided to emphasise the word 'date' as she shone red with shyness.

"It's fine. I understand," Cassie answered.

She went ahead to examine the exterior of the place for a bit before deciding on what to say about it.

"Lemme guess. This is your favourite hideaway," Cassie bobbed her head rhythmically as she spoke, confident in her assessment.

Dane chuckled and then shook his head.

"Actually..." he replied. "This place is number 3."

Cassie was surprised by this, narrowing her eyes in disbelief.

"I can't lay all my cards bare now, can I?" Dane added.
