[Miss. Anna divorced Mr. Lucas for a reason.]
In all Lefah's difficulties, he still wanted to fight and work hard to complete his journey as a professional footballer in American football (NFL) with his best friend, Garriso-- in high school. Garriso is more than just a friend, he's like a brother to Lefah.
Garriso is Lefah's sidekick and his family. They've known each other since childhood. Lefah is the only son in his family and Garriso is the only son, but he has a little sister and stays with his parents' but usually spends a lot of time with Lefah in his house.
Yeah, Garriso always goes over to play with Lefah at his house after school, because Lefah's mother never wanted him to go and play outside with friends. Yeah, Miss. Anna was afraid that Lefah's dad would come for him one day. So, she never allowed him outside till his high school days. Garriso is the one who has always come around and played with Lefah at home since their old days.
Because Miss. Anna is a single parent to Lefah. Miss. Anna was always busy at work, yet she still managed to come home on time and prepare something for her son to eat every morning and evening before the day ended. So, it was just Lefah and his best friend [Brother] Garriso in the house always playing.
Miss. Anna divorced her husband, Mr. Lucas because-- Mr. Lucas never wanted to work, cheating on her and always on the street having fun with his bad gang, and playing NBA bet challenges with friends and smoking. Mr. Lucas never wanted to work and support his wife since they got married 6 years ago.
Mr. Lucas always comes home drunk and smoking. Miss. Anna advised Mr. Lucas to stay away from being friends with those gangsters because he's a married man, and she knew those gangs were the cause of Mr. Lucas' bad attitudes nowadays and aside from that, she gave birth just a week ago to Lefah, and she can't work like she used to work anymore.
The issue was over, Miss. Anna, to solve it alone, so she discussed the issue with both families, yet still Mr. Lucas never wanted to change and go back home, so, Miss. Anna divorced Mr. Lucas. Miss Anna tried working and also took Lefah to school at the same time. Till Lefah grew up 17 years old and Miss. Anna knew that Lefah was a grown-up boy, and he could do a lot of things on his own.
Miss. Anna was paid as a barista in a coffee bar, and she wasn't given enough payment at work because she was always late at work and her boss disliked how she normally came to work ever since she gave birth.
Her boss wanted to fire her because of her lateness at work every day. Because Miss. Anna had no work doing, so-- she begged her boss not to fire her. So, the only option her boss would allow her to work for him at the coffee shop was to reduce her work payment, and because she had no work doing but to agree to her boss's arrangements and still work there to manage the less payment.
When Lefah was able to take a shower, clean and do a lot of things on his own, Miss Anna went back to her boss's office to beg for her old payment because she could now work and also come to work like she usually did in the old days. But her manager refused to and asked her to live in his office and get to work.
[Miss. Anna] "So, this is my sad story, my love. I just wish you had been around when I gave birth, Sophia. But you were nowhere to be found. Why?"
[Sophia sighs]
[Sophia is Anna's best friend back in college, but Sophia traveled out of the country and Miss. Anna had no idea Sophia was back in town and also working in some coffee shop around the old town.]
[Sophia] "Hey Darling, I am sorry about all these years, not even calling you Anna. You know, your girlfriend was busy out there. I am sorry. Okay?"
"Hey, baby, it's past now and, besides, it wasn't your fault, so don't worry about it and-- hey, I am okay, Sophia, trust me. There's nothing to apologize for." [Anna]
[Sophia sighs]
"Hey, but I am sorry my dear. Like I am sorry for not being a good friend to you, Anna. Once I am back now, I promise everything is gonna work well again. Just forget about that silly man. You call him husband, my dear, and sorry to say. What a hell of him to treat my little sister badly he wants." [Sophia]
"Mm-hmm", I always pray about that, Sophia, just to have a better job. But one thing I don't understand right now, and I always think about it, is that-- you know-- Lefah's dad was a footballer just on the street and now my only son also wants to play football. Hey, tell me, do you think it's a good idea for my son to play football, Sophia?"
"Hmm." I am also confused here, my dear sister. Maybe it could be like, or let's say, like father, like son, just in football, but not Mr. Lucas stupidity. So, why don't you allow that little kid to play if he really wants to play football, Anna."
[Anna sighs]
" Hmm okay" but you won't understand my love." [Anna]
" Hey, hey, my sister. Yeah, I may not understand you, but I clearly understand how you feel about this, Anna-- and you're thinking about it badly that maybe the kid will end up just like his father, right?"
"Year my love and you know, I never liked the idea of his father playing football on the street with his gang and now my only son, too, wants to play football just like his father, Sophie. So, just think about how the picture will look like. Hey, Sophie, I want a better future occupation for my son, not like his father, Lucas."
