Chapter 2 - Old Sun Group

Sun Zan did not bother with these guys, they wouldn't learn even if he beat them to death.

He made his way into the company building under the curious gazes of several employees and went directly to the top floor.

The Old Sun Group was a very controversial existence.

The type of business it did seemed to be very vague and you could not trace its profitability at all.

First, it was fully private.

There were shareholders, but most of them were family members of the Sun family while the rest were senior employees who had stayed in the company and were critical one way or the other.

This alone made the Sun family a turtle that is hard to deal with.

Not to mention, most projects were related to military or strategic projects that were hard to mess with.

With this method, the Sun family has accumulated years of merit and has become as stable as an old dog.

This made Sun Zan speechless.

What is the point of inheriting such a company?

For the Sun family, profitability was not as fragrant as trading favors.

The company itself was more like a tool man and a hidden hand for the military that could be contracted at any time to provide manpower and machinery.

Most of the expertise was provided directly by the government as and when needed.

In short, the company is private and autonomous enough, but not so much that it could do whatever it wanted.

But this is a good thing.

Putting aside the fact that no one dares offend the Sun family, just the privilege that the family and the company enjoyed was enough to make others crazy with envy.

Not just anyone could use military-grade vehicles for transport and have a few dozen guards armed sufficiently.

But Sun Zan still felt that it was too showy.

First, he did not have this much security abroad but still, no one troubled him.

It might be that someone was fighting in the dark, but he was more inclined to believe that even if he was captured or something, it would have little effect.

On the contrary, there would be crazy pursuit after the fact. Not worth it at all.

Second, this was Dragon Country. Who dares be presumptuous here?

But the main reason he did not like having so many guards is that it prevented him from pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger.

Da'Er alone is enough to intimidate 90% of the ordinary populace. Not to mention there were 12 such giants around him all the time.

"Young master, welcome to the Old Sun Group. The rest of the senior executives are waiting in the conference room as instructed."

Sun Zan's attention was directly drawn by the smooth and silky voice.

Looking up, he found that there was a lady standing in front of him at some point.

First impression, beautiful and graceful.

Sun Zan immediately thought that whoever was in charge of the human resource department deserved a raise.

"What's your name? Who are you?"

Although he was curious, Sun Zan did not slow down at all.

You can be beautiful all you want, but it has nothing to do with him. Can they be more beautiful than the women in the Sun family?

Can they compare to the ladies from other families he interacted with on weekends?

"Hello, my name is Xiao San and I will be your personal secretary from now on. You can ask me anything and everything. If I know, I will do it, and if I don't, I can learn."

"Oh, interesting. Are you also from the Sun family? One of the Xiao sisters?"

"Yes. I am the third sister."

"That's good. I don't have to worry so much if it is you."

Sun Zan admired this way of doing things even more.

The twelve Da brothers are in charge of security while here the twelve Xiao sisters are responsible for helping him run things.

This treatment… even his cheap father did not enjoy it.

"Where are the other Xiao sisters?"

"8 of the younger sisters are responsible for overseeing the various businesses before your takeover is stable.

No. 1 and 2 have yet to return to the country. They should be back soon now that you are here."

Sun Zan nodded in understanding.

Xiao Yi and Xiao Er went with him abroad. It is just that he never had a clear understanding of what they were doing there.

Don't ask.

He would naturally know if he needed to know.

Sun Zan did not go to the conference room directly but headed to his office.

The Old Sun Group headquarters was at the center of Skyview City with a 632-meter-high 108-storeyed building and his office occupied half of the 108th floor.

The other half was the conference room and a small area for Xiao San and the other secretaries.

Sun Zan could see most of the city from the floor-to-ceiling window and the view was breathtaking.

But he did not have the mind to look carefully.

He was still considering what category he should choose for a critical strike.

The monthly strike could only be used once a month and once used, it would be gone.

But why keep it? He could not think of anything else to use it on.

Maybe on himself? But he was willing to wait a month or so. It was not a good idea to experiment with himself first.

The other option is the weekly strike.

No matter how he tried to differentiate them, he did not know what was so different between the monthly and the weekly strikes.

All in all, his imagination was not enough to imagine what kind of product would result from a 1 billion times increase in quality let alone 100 trillion.

But this problem was rather good.

If you think about it more simply, there was actually no problem with using all options now.

First, the system did not say that an item could only be crit once.

Even if it was only once, there was no restriction on using the crit units for the subsequent strikes.

At that time it would be nestled exponentially.

Thinking here, Sun Zan directly chose to start with the least option first. Anyway, a phone was only a couple tens of thousand yuan…
