Chapter 2 - The genuine and false daughters of a wealthy family.(2)

At dinner, the eldest brother, Albert, also returned.

When I was still on the stairs, I could hear him loudly questioning Mr. and Mrs. Ellie.

"Mom and Dad, Anna is used to living in that room. Now that you ask her to change to another room, how can she adapt?"

I sat down in my position gracefully. When he saw me, he almost pointed at my nose and scolded me.

"You are so scheming at a young age to snatch other people's things!"

Mr. and Mrs. Ellie were criticized by him, and their expressions were not good at this moment.

Seeing him attacking me now gave them an outlet for their emotions, and their gazes at me became even more dissatisfied.

But that simple-minded Alex spoke up for me with an innocent look on his face: "Brother, it was Sister Anna who said she would give the room to her."

After being said by his younger brother like this, Albert, who originally wanted to continue criticizing me, was silenced.

But how could Anna let go of this opportunity? She used her green tea skill of crying at any time and anywhere, took Albert's hand and said: "Brother, I know you love me, but it is indeed I who want to give the room to Sister Elise."

Her words were one thing, but her expression on her face was another.

Albert gently touched her head and gave her a look as if to comfort her:

"Anna is generous to give you her room, but you can't just take hers directly."

"Later, you can choose another room and return the room to Anna."

I sneered and then looked at Mr. and Mrs. Ellie: "What's your opinion?"

Mr. Ellie gave Mrs. Ellie a look.

Mrs. Ellie pondered and said: "Elise, Anna has indeed lived in that room since she was a child."

"It's really hard for her to adapt if she changes rooms now."

"If she can't adapt, then adapt slowly." I looked at everyone with a half-smile: "If she can't adapt, should I adapt instead?"

As I said this, I took out my phone and opened the previous recording.

The conversation in which I repeatedly confirmed with them whether the room was really for me to live in echoed clearly in the room.

Mr. and Mrs. Ellie looked embarrassed. Even Albert, who just wanted to drive me out a moment ago, suddenly became shorter.

I looked around everyone at the table and said calmly: "Everyone should hear clearly. Before I moved in, I had repeatedly confirmed with everyone."

"Especially, Miss Anna."

"She clearly stated that it was her own will to give me the room. There is no situation where I threatened or forced her. Moreover, Mom and Dad are also aware and agree to this matter."

"So, I think there is no problem for me to live in that room."

But Albert still argued with me with his neck stiffened: "Can't you be a bit more emotional? Anna was just saying some polite words. Who knew you didn't know how to be modest?"

I made a gesture to interrupt him: "In any case, people should be responsible for their own decisions."

"Otherwise, going back on one's word and pushing the fault onto me will make me think that there is a problem with the upbringing of the Ellie family."

"Do you all think I'm right?" "And you, Albert."

"You must not know much about me, but I know something about you."

"Although you have always been a top student and are tacitly regarded as the future successor of the Ellie family. You have achieved some remarkable results in the internship stage of the company."

"But just now you were partial to Anna according to your own preferences without distinguishing right from wrong. You even used the word'scheming' to evaluate me when you didn't know me well."

"I think you don't have the rational judgment and calm analysis ability that a mature decision-maker should have."

I looked at Alex who was trying hard to follow my rhythm beside me and slowed down my speech.

"But in any case, it's true that you just evaluated me randomly. You should apologize to me."

"Also, I want to remind you that I am your real sister."

"If you think I am scheming, I suggest you also reflect on whether you have such a problem. After all, we are connected by blood."

My outburst directly stunned Albert.

Seeing that neither of us was willing to give in first, Mrs. Ellie started to mediate again.

"Elise, we are all family. Why make the relationship so tense?"

I didn't say a word, just looking at Albert.

And he stared at me defiantly.

Mr. Ellie patted the table with a a solemn expression.

"What's the fuss? Does a good family have to be in such a mess?"

When the head of the family spoke, everyone else shrank their necks.

But I stood up directly, took my phone, went upstairs in big strides, and pulled my unopened suitcase and left this villa.
