Chapter 12 - chapter 12

Jayesh tells the judge that he believed Bhawani would improve with time, allowing him to take her out to meet people, but she didn't change. He calls her an illiterate person, saying she has only been consuming free meals.

Amrita responds, agreeing that Bhawani stayed with him, but it was she who cooked those meals, which Jayesh ate. She then states that her mother would sign the divorce papers once Jayesh compensates her fully, amounting to thirty-three lacs. Jayesh is shocked.

Earlier, Ishika mentions the third girl is here, and Virat is pulling Amrita, which shocks Babita and the rest of the family. Shekar signals Virat, but he doesn't understand. Babita angrily calls out to him, and he complains that he always gets into trouble because of Amrita.

Ishika hands Amrita a plate of flower petals, and a worker announces that Mr. Shekwats has arrived. Babita asks everyone to come and greet them, signaling Amrita to start throwing petals on the guests. Babita praises Ishika for the fabulous arrangements.

After meeting other guests, Rajeev compliments Amrita, calling her beautiful, but he also mocks her for doing a job she doesn't want, even though she's a banker. He then calls her a joker. Virat wonders what Rajeev is doing, but Amrita tries to defend herself. She recalls Virat telling her not to look for a job but to find a wealthy man. She becomes upset, deciding to confront Rajeev.

Rajeev is with the Ahuja family when they take him away, and Amrita throws the petals at Virat, who questions her actions. She replies that it's part of her job, but Virat dismisses it, telling her to ask Ishika.

Amrita then stops him, explaining that she doesn't like Ishika, and tells him not to mention her name again. Virat praises Ishika for picking the dress Amrita is wearing, but Amrita counters that she's not interested in getting close to him. He accuses her of only being interested in money, to which she responds that she only wants what she earned.

Amrita then asks why he accused her of demanding money from Rajeev. Virat leaves, saying he doesn't want to spoil the mood of the day. Amrita, frustrated, nearly falls while chasing after him. He suggests she should thank Ishika for what she did, leaving her feeling even more confused and angry.

Shekar explains that Rajeev's friends gave Amrita a drink and tried to misbehave with her. Amrita is shocked to hear that Shekar thinks she would demand money from Rajeev.

He admits he doesn't trust Rajeev, but Virat does. Meanwhile, the Ahuja family takes a photo with the Shekwats, but Rajeev slips away, and Nimrit talks with Rajeev's mother, telling her that Virat will teach Amrita a lesson, as per her wedding gift.

Rajeev heads to the terrace where Amrita confronts him. She warns him not to threaten her, stating that she still has thirty days left on her notice period and will keep an eye on him. She tells him she'll expose him and take revenge for what he's done to her. Amrita leaves, leaving Rajeev tense and worried.

Later, the Ahuja family celebrates with the Shekwats, but Rajeev remains distant, caught up in his own concerns. Babita notices and urges him to join the celebration, but he remains visibly troubled.

Bhawani, meanwhile, resists sitting in a wheelchair, but Harshad insists, reminding her that the doctor advised bed rest. Amrita arrives with food for Bhawani and reassures her. Amrita expresses her frustration at being stuck in a job she doesn't want but does so for her family.

Bhawani apologizes for making Amrita feel burdened, and Amrita comforts her, promising that they will handle the situation. Jahan then receives a letter announcing a court hearing for the divorce the following day. Harshad and Bhawani are shocked as the reality of the divorce sinks in.

Shekar brings Virat a drink, and they talk about their worries. Virat is emotional, unsure of the future. Shekar reassures him everything will be fine. Meanwhile, Amrita prays for a sign and gets one when she sees Virat blowing balloons.

She smiles, feeling comforted. Virat, though initially unsure about the childish act, is happy to have made Amrita smile. He notices Amrita walking away, still furious about him, but they have an awkward moment when Amrita accidentally hugs him.

She quickly steps back, flustered, and tries to explain her frustration. Virat teases her about always falling, but they share a lighthearted moment when he helps her remove a wire stuck in her shoe.
