A tall dark young man heard the sounds of his pager, he ignored it walking around the street. This is not a natural disaster he thought to himself. The young detective was already at the supposed crime scene that is why he ignored his pager.
"Detective Dub'oi, you are here"
A colleague shouted, he walked straight to him and asked what was happening.
"Sir it's strange, it started raining and there was a girl dancing in the water, all of a sudden these building started collapsing"
Could that story his grandmother grew up telling him be real? If it is then he has to get the girl before the government did. He knew what they do to people with super powers.
"The girl has nothing to do with this. Take her to my car l will find her parents"
He said this with his deep manly voice that noone dared to go against. They took the girl to his car, he left the crime scene going straight to his house. The girl was unconscious, he ran her a warm bath and bathed her. She looked young and pretty. Her little body felt like a mere paper in his arms since he was stronger, taller and obviously hit the gym.
After 2 hours. The girl woke up looking lost and the first face she saw was that of a stranger. Panic took over . Who is this man?
"My name is Reymond Dub'oi"
She kept quiet not understanding the language
"What are you doing in our world?"
Dub'oi decided to question the girl straight to the point, using his grandma's story. According to the tale, The Falibans are sea creatures who sometimes shapeshift into humans they have the power to destroy or build. A long time ago the Falibans and the humans lived together in peace and harmony, though it is unclear which species started to attack the other for the "unknown reason" . The Falibans killed a lot of humans till the government saw a way to destroy these creatures. Destroying the water was the way, putting chemicals and drilling oils causing noise in the waters made the Falibans cry at the mercy of Humans. The humans did not stop they continued to capture and slaughter them till it was said the Falibans do not exist anymore.
"Answer me dammit!!!"
He shouted because the girl was not cooperating. She stood up , smiled and kissed him unexpectedly, whats crazy is he didn't stop her or even try to. After the kissing session the girl smiled again.
"Now l know your language, this is my first time here"
He just looked at her tongue tied. So she was just learning my language through kissing me ? This is crazy he thought.
"It's not crazy heyy. That's how we do it My name is Kaila and I'm The princess for my people, I'm not here to cause any human harm but I'm here to get what's ours"
Dub'oi replied a little agitated
"So you mean destroying all those buildings was 'not causing any human harm'. I knew you are not one of us you Falibanss killl!!"
He roared the last part
The young girl didn't seem scared
"If you were there when your fore fathers slaughtered us you wouldn't be saying that"
The girl replied
"So you justifying killing innocent people?"
He asked with his 1 eyebrow raised.
They went on verbal fighting with each other till the girl said
"Am l late? Where is your grandma,she the one I'm here for"
Full of confusion Dub'oi just looked at her like how did she knew my grandma lived here.
"She didn't tell you,did she?"
"Tell me what? "
This all thing was pissing him off now, what did his grandma had to do with sea creatures
"Your grandma was one us, she was a warrior . She fought for us here. She was once captured by the Government but she managed to escape because she was too powerful. She never came back because the waters were being watched, if someone goes to the water or comes out they would be slaughtered so I'm sure she just blended in with humans and started her own family."
Dub'oi just looked at the girl blankly.
