Chapter 4 - Chapter Four

Ricardo's POV

On my way to Amelia's company, I didn't bother to greet the receptionist and the workers around because they knew me. I entered into her office, seeing her sitting beautifully. Her stunning face made my desire for her undeniable. I wanted her, and I want her now.

I moved closer to her; she stood up, a hint of concern in her voice. "Ricardo, what are you doing?" I kept moving closer, my eyes locked on hers, without answering her questions.

Then, I saw the mark around her neck. A surge of anger coursed through me. "Who did this to you, Amelia?" I asked, my voice low and menacing. But she looked disturbed, unwilling to answer me.

"Amelia, who f**ing did this to you?" I shouted, my anger boiling over. She whispered a single word: "Ethan." I was livid. "I will destroy that old hag," I told her, my promise hanging in the air.

She shook her head. "It's not your problem, Ricardo. It's mine." But I wouldn't let it go. I held her cheek, my fingers caressing her skin. "All your problems have become mine, Amelia, ever since I set my eyes on you. I will ruin Ethan, make sure he never thinks of hurting you again."

I kissed her forcefully, my lips claiming hers. I grabbed her ass, feeling its softness. She tried to resist, but I wouldn't let her. I wanted her, and I would have her.

As we broke apart for air, I gazed into her eyes. "No one dared to leave a mark on you, except me," I said, my voice husky with emotion. With that promise, I turned and left her office.

As I left Amelia's office, I couldn't shake off the image of the mark on her neck. Ethan would pay for what he did. I made a mental note to investigate more about Ethan's background, to find out what made him think he could hurt Amelia.

I walked out of the building, my mind racing with thoughts of revenge. But as I stepped into the cool evening air, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I knew I would protect Amelia, no matter what it took.

As I drove through the city, my mind kept wandering back to Amelia. I couldn't believe that Ethan had dared to hurt her. The thought of it made my blood boil.

I pulled up to my office building and parked my car. I got out and walked inside, my assistant greeting me with a nod.

"Sir, I have the information you requested on Ethan," he said, handing me a folder.

I took the folder and opened it, scanning the contents. Ethan's background was more complicated than I had thought. He had a history of violence, and he was connected to some shady characters.

I closed the folder, my mind racing with possibilities. I knew that I had to be careful, that I couldn't just rush in and confront Ethan. I needed a plan.

I looked up at my assistant. "I need you to set up a meeting with some of my associates," I said. "I want to discuss Ethan and come up with a plan to take him down."

My assistant nodded. "I'll set it up for tomorrow morning, sir."

I nodded, feeling a sense of satisfaction. I was one step closer to taking down Ethan and keeping Amelia safe.

As I walked back to my car, I couldn't help but think about Amelia again. I wondered what she was doing right now, and whether she was thinking about me.

I got into my car and started the engine, feeling a sense of anticipation. I knew that tomorrow would bring a new challenge, but I was ready. I was ready to take down Ethan and claim Amelia as mine.

Amelia's POV

I sat at my desk, focusing on the paperwork in front of me. Suddenly, Ricardo burst into my office, his presence commanding attention. I rolled my eyes, slightly annoyed, and stood up.

"What are you doing here, Ricardo?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.

He moved closer, his eyes scanning me until they landed on the mark around my neck. I had tried to conceal it with makeup, but I could tell he saw it.

"Who did this to you?" Ricardo's voice was low and menacing.

I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But Ricardo's intense gaze made me feel like I had no choice.

"Ethan," I whispered.

Ricardo's expression turned furious. "I'll destroy that old hag," he snarled.

I tried to calm him down, telling him it wasn't his problem, but he wouldn't listen. Ricardo's presence always made me feel a mix of emotions - fear, excitement, and a desire to surrender to him.

He caressed my cheek, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "Your problems are my problems, Amelia," he said, his voice husky. "I'll ruin Ethan for daring to hurt you."

Before I could respond, Ricardo's lips claimed mine in a forceful kiss. He grabbed my ass, his anger and possessiveness radiating from his touch. I tried to resist, but he was too strong. I found myself kissing him back with the same energy until I ran out of breath.

Ricardo stopped, his eyes blazing with intensity. "No one dared to leave a mark on you, except me," he said, his voice dripping with possessiveness.

With that, he turned and left my office. I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I hoped Ricardo wouldn't do anything rash.

I walked out of my office, looking for my receptionist, Tessa. "Why didn't you call me when Ricardo arrived?" I asked her. "I know you can't stop him, but you should have warned me."

Tessa looked apologetic. "I'm sorry, ma'am."

I sighed. "Just stop him next time, and tell him not to come to my office without prior notice."

Tessa nodded. "Okay, ma'am. Yes, ma'am."

With that, I left the reception area, my mind still reeling from Ricardo's intense visit.

As I walked back to my office, I couldn't help but think about Ricardo's intense visit. He was furious about the mark on my neck, and I knew he would stop at nothing to find out who did it.

I sat back down at my desk, trying to focus on my work. But my mind kept wandering back to Ricardo. Why did he care so much about me?

I shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I had to focus on my work, not Ricardo's vendetta against Ethan.

As I delved back into my paperwork, I couldn't shake off the feeling that Ricardo's actions would have consequences. I just hoped that I wouldn't get caught in the crossfire.

I worked for a few more hours, trying to push the thoughts of Ricardo and Ethan out of my mind. But as the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held.

Would Ricardo really destroy Ethan? And what would happen to me if he did?

I packed up my things and headed home, my mind racing with questions and doubts. One thing was for sure, though - my life was about to get a lot more complicated.
