Chapter 1 - The Day the Void Trembled

The planet Sphinx, a jewel of the Borysthenis Star System within the sprawling Eridanus Galaxy of the Cyus Universe, stood as one of the two largest planets in the galaxy. Known for its breathtaking landscapes of iridescent crystalline mountains and endless azure skies, it was also the central domain of the formidable McConnell family, one of the two reigning overlords of the Eridanus Galaxy. Towering citadels adorned with celestial runes dotted the planet's surface, a testament to the McConnells' dominance over cultivation and their unyielding ambition spanning millions of years.

Today, an oppressive tension blanketed the air, pressing down on both mortals and cultivators alike. Every living soul on Sphinx, from humble farmers in the verdant valleys to elite cultivators in their floating sanctuaries, knew that this was no ordinary day. It was the day a battle for ultimate supremacy—a clash of unimaginable power—was set to unfold. The head of the McConnell family would face the head of the Dervucror family, rulers of the legendary dragon lineage and their eternal rivals.

The enmity between these two families stretched back millions of years, an unbroken chain of conflict passed down from generation to generation. The McConnells and the Dervucrors had fought not just for personal glory but for the ultimate control of the galaxy itself. Their ceaseless rivalry had become the defining narrative of the Eridanus Galaxy, shaping its very destiny. Time and again, their confrontations had led to catastrophic destruction. Planets were obliterated, stars extinguished in violent conflagrations, and entire star systems torn apart. Mortals and weaker cultivators, caught in the crossfire, bore the brunt of the devastation, their lives reduced to ashes by forces far beyond their comprehension.

Now, in this generation, the two family heads had reached the pinnacle of cultivation, standing at the peak of the highest known realm. This final battle was unlike any of the skirmishes that had preceded it. It was not another cycle of temporary victories and losses. Both sides had agreed: this confrontation would bring an end to the conflict once and for all. The victor would cement their family's supremacy, while the vanquished would fade into obscurity.

Across the vast expanse of the Eridanus Galaxy, cultivators capable of withstanding the harsh void of space were converging toward its very center. The most powerful traveled under their own strength, streaking across the starry abyss like radiant comets. Others relied on spirit vessels, elaborate constructs imbued with ancient formations that allowed them to traverse the galaxy safely. Attendance at the event was no trivial matter—only cultivators of the Void Realm or higher could survive the harsh vacuum of space unaided, while those below depended on the resources of their prestigious families or sects to secure passage.

The upcoming battle between the McConnell and Dervucror family heads—the two overlords of the galaxy—had drawn attention from every corner of the Eridanus Galaxy. The scale of their influence was unmatched, but despite their dominance, other factions still thrived. Ancient sects, noble families, and rogue cultivators carved out significant roles within the galaxy. Though their power was a step below the McConnell and Dervucror families, their influence ensured a constant undercurrent of rivalry and ambition.

Cultivation in the galaxy was divided into two distinct tiers: the Mortal Cultivation Realms and the Divine Expanse Realms. The mortal path began with the Essence Gathering Realm, where a cultivator absorbed the spiritual energy of the world, laying the foundation for future growth. Progressing further, cultivators entered the Spiritual Foundation Realm, solidifying their base of power. In the Radiant Core Realm, spiritual energy was condensed into a concentrated core within their body, granting them greater reserves and potency.

As they reached the Spirit Embryo Realm, a cultivator's energy began to form a spiritual seed, a precursor to greater transformation. This embryonic essence matured in the Astral Soul Synthesis Realm, where cultivators refined their control and merged their spiritual energy with profound insights.

Beyond this, the Ethereal Fusion Phase allowed them to harmonize their energy with their bodies, elevating their strength and resilience. By the time they reached the Spirit Embodiment Realm, their spiritual energy had evolved into a tangible force capable of influencing their surroundings.

At the Tribulation Transcendence Realm, cultivators faced the most challenging hurdle of the mortal realms—the heavenly tribulations. These trials tested their will, endurance, and mastery of spiritual energy through destructive forces such as lightning storms. Those who succeeded ascended into the Ascension Realm, the apex of mortal cultivation, where they refined their qi to its peak, preparing for their eventual transformation.

The Void Realm marked the beginning of the Divine Expanse Realms, where a cultivator's qi transcended into divine qi, a purer and more powerful form of energy. This divine qi strengthened their bodies to an unimaginable degree, making them weapons unto themselves, capable of surviving even the harsh conditions of the void. Their lifespans extended significantly, and their mastery over techniques reached levels incomprehensible to those below. Void Realm cultivators no longer relied on the support of qi alone; their divine energy flowed naturally, providing them with both sustenance and resilience.

Ascending further, the Sovereign Realm was a milestone of unparalleled significance.

Sovereign cultivators commanded immense strength and began studying the minor laws of the universe . Their lifespans stretched even further, and they became akin to rulers, their influence spreading far and wide.

At the Eternal Heaven Realm, mastery over divine qi deepened, and cultivators honed their techniques to extraordinary levels. Their understanding of the laws became more profound, allowing them to wield power with precision and scale unmatched by lower realms. At this stage, they could extend their lives well beyond the natural limits of Sovereign cultivators.

The Eternal Star Realm signified a cultivator's transcendence over mortality entirely. They no longer aged or succumbed to natural causes, their mastery over laws beginning to manifest in tangible ways, influencing celestial phenomena such as planetary orbits or star alignments.

At the Mystic Void Realm, their control over the laws expanded to began to control the greater laws of the universe after the minor laws or try to evolve their current minor laws to a greater laws, allowing them to shape and dominate entire cosmic regions. Cultivators at this stage could be granted dominion over star systems, marking them as sovereigns of entire sectors of the galaxy.

The Radiant Sovereign Realm elevated divine qi into an even greater form: the Empyrean Zone, a power that allowed cultivators to influence the physical environment around them with their presence alone. Those who achieved this realm became unparalleled masters of their surroundings, their energy exponentially more potent than any seen before. Cultivators who began to sense and draw support from the Fundamentals laws—the very laws that govern the universe—set the stage for their potential ascension into the legendary Empyrean Overlord Realm, a realm no one in the Eridanus Galaxy had ever reached.

Near the galactic core, tens of thousands of light-years from Sphinx, a colossal gathering of cultivators had formed. Their figures dotted the void, glowing halos of spiritual and divine energy illuminating the surrounding darkness. The crowd ranged from wandering itinerants to representatives of prestigious sects and families. Their murmurs filled the void as they speculated about the outcome of the battle.

"Who do you think will win between Kaelion McConnell and Tharazen Dervucror?" a young cultivator asked, his voice carried by a ripple of spiritual energy.

A burly cultivator, his aura bristling with lightning, laughed. "It's obvious! Tharazen will crush Kaelion. With the Tyrant Domination Physique, his strength grows with his arrogance and domineering nature. At his peak, he's practically untouchable!"

A woman in silver robes, her presence radiating quiet confidence, countered, "Don't dismiss Kaelion so easily. His Heaven Devouring Physique is just as legendary. While we know much about Tharazen's Tyrant Domination Physique, Kaelion's physique remains a mystery. There could be abilities hidden within it that we've never seen before."

Another cultivator, cloaked in shadow, added gravely, "Legends say the Heaven Devouring Physique can consume anything—divine qi, laws, and even celestial bodies like planets or stars. If that's true, Kaelion may possess an advantage no one anticipates."

Waiting for the arrival of the two families for the beginning of the fight, many prestigious families, sects were already there.

KAELION!!!!!

A reverberating and dominating shouts that make tremble even the void and the surroundings planet was heard, making everyone who is not at least in the Mystic Void Realm tremble and wanting to spit out blood.

At that moment a man with a huge muscular body, two horns on his head, a square chaw and two black wings on his back appear. His chest was completely bareback with all kinds of red markings and symbols making all those lower realm cultivators feel lost when looking at it, a huge halberd on his hands looking menacing. Just his presence making everyone suffocating.

Bwahaha, Kaelion, today l will show you who is really the strongest in this galaxy and reduce you to ash completely! Shout Tharazen.

At that moment, a blinding refreshing light appear and illuminate the void dissapating the pressure put by Tharazen on all the cultivator. In this light appear, a man wearing an all whites clothes with tinge of gold on the arms and legs. His face was divine, with golden eyes, a little round face with white hairs all synonym of the McConnell family. His body scuplted like it was completely calculated without any error. He appears, Kaelion McConnell floating in void with a serene smile looking like a saint.

"Tharazen, why oppressed the mass with your aura, l see that you will never change and continue with your overbearing attitude." Said Kaelion with a gentle smile.

" You can stop with your hypocrite smile with me, you can fool the other but not me, l know you are not as benovelent and good as you show. Now let's not waste time anymore, l will make you feel despere!" said Tharazen while shouting.

"After you then." answer Kaelion.

A huge pressure descent on everyone when Kaelion and Tharazen focus to begin their fight. Kaelion put himself in a sort of boxing posture with gold aura surrounding him making the void tremble. Tharazen was brazen, excited with a big smile on his face with his arms outstretched, and a halberd in one of his hands ready to fight. The fight to become the overlord of the Eridanus galaxy was about to begin.

...

...

In an instant an uncountable streak of golden light and crimson light intertwined and collided followed by thunderous shockwaves and explosions over the distance in the void making tremble and almost shatter many planets. Among the onlookers those of lowers cultivation realm than mystic void realm couldn't even follow the fight and they just saw a bunch golden and crimson light collided and intertwined then later they hear immense explosions.

At one point in those intertwined light, Tharazen directly appear on top of Kaelion with his halberd. Gravity Maelstrom! Shouts Tharazen.

In. That moment his halberd descended, mashing on Kaelion with an uncountable weight. Before the halberd touched Kaelion, time froze—so briefly it escaped the grasp of reality. In that imperceptible instant, his fist blurred into motion.

'Chrono Blitz!'

A storm of strikes erupted in his proximity, each punch leaving behind streaks of searing light that vanished as quickly as they appeared. To the outside world, it was as though the halberd was still falling, but in that frozen breath of time, the fury of his attack had already been unleashed—too fast for any mortal eye to follow, yet too real to deny.

What ensuing was Tharazen taking an uncountable numbers of hits on his body launching strashing on a nearby planet that completely ruptured and exploded not supporting the weight of Tharazen and the force with what he was launch. Despite that Tharazen streaking through the void after that stop himself and grin with a streak of blood on his mouth and marks of punch all over his body that completely heal immediately.

Bwahahahaha!!!! Incredible! Kaelion! So, you've managed to touch upon the fundamental laws of time. Good, very good!" Tharazen roared, his voice booming across the void, causing the surrounding space to crack and shudder under the weight of his power. The fractures spread and healed in an endless, chaotic cycle, as if the void itself struggled to withstand him.

"Since you dared give me such a good beating, let's see if you can withstand this move of mine!"

Tharazen lifted his halberd high, and at that moment, space warped violently. The void bent and twisted unnaturally, and suddenly, countless figures of Tharazen appeared all around Kaelion, surrounding him like a closing net. Each one wore the same chilling grin, their halberds gleaming with murderous intent.

With a voice that shook the very air, Tharazen bellowed, "Infinite Dominion!"

Kaelion's eyes narrowed, and with a calm yet forceful voice, he uttered, "Halt!"

Time froze. Everything stilled within the zone around him—every figure, every weapon, every fragment of motion. But then, a flicker. The eyes of the Tharazens began to move, glowing with a wicked light. Slowly, their bodies followed, breaking free of the stasis.

Kaelion's heart pounded as the smirking figures advanced, their crushing aura pressing down like an unstoppable weight, warping the very space within the frozen zone.

Tharazen's laughter erupted, wild and thunderous.

"Did you think your flimsy grasp of time could stop me?! You don't even control its true power yet!"

Crack!!!

The time-stopped zone shattered like glass, the fragments scattering into nothingness. Freed from its hold, Tharazen's figures all struck at once.

Kaelion's defenses crumbled under the assault. Blinding slashes rained down from every angle, each strike landing with bone-shattering force. His body staggered, blood spilling into the void, as the onslaught continued mercilessly.

And then, the final blow.

The real Tharazen emerged from the storm, his halberd slicing cleanly through Kaelion's midsection.

Slash!!!

A spray of blood erupted into the shattered space, Kaelion's strength faltering as he was left broken and bleeding—battered by the relentless fury of Infinite Dominion.

The weaker cultivators among the onlookers stood frozen, their faces pale with shock. To them, the battle had become an incomprehensible blur—first, streaks of light flashing through the void, then Tharazen battered and beaten, followed by Tharazen attacking with countless copies of himself. And now, they had just witnessed Kaelion being sliced cleanly in half.

On the Dervucror family's side, a roar erupted as their onlookers cheered wildly. They shouted Tharazen's name over and over again, their voices brimming with reverence. "Tharazen! Tharazen! The strongest!"

Yet Tharazen did not smile. His gaze remained locked on Kaelion's broken form, his expression dark and calculating. He knew that a move like this—without fully obliterating Kaelion—could never kill him.

Sure enough, moments after being sliced in half, Kaelion's body began to reform. The severed halves fused seamlessly, flesh knitting itself together as though nothing had ever happened. Within seconds, Kaelion stood whole again, unscathed and radiant.

"I see I'm not the only one who has improved," Kaelion said, his voice smooth, carrying across the void with effortless power. A faint, enchanting smile curved his lips. "That's good. If not, it would have been disappointing to find that my rival of so many years couldn't even retaliate."

The female onlookers gasped and erupted into frenzied cries, their voices rising in admiration as they called out Kaelion's name, overwhelmed by his dazzling presence and that smile.

But there was no pause. With neither gaining the upper hand, the two titans clashed again. Streaks of light tore through the galaxy as their battle resumed, each movement an explosion of unimaginable force. Stars shattered, planets crumbled into dust, and each strike they exchanged sent shockwaves rippling through the void. Supernova after supernova erupted across the void, their brilliance illuminating the endless battlefield, a testament to the ferocity of their fight.

The galaxy itself seemed to tremble beneath their might, as Kaelion and Tharazen waged their war without end.

...

...

For over a century, Kaelion and Tharazen had fought, their battle stretching across the galaxy like an endless storm. Stars were shattered, their light snuffed out as if extinguished by unseen hands. Planets crumbled into dust, whole systems reduced to nothing but fragments drifting through the void. The galaxy itself groaned under their relentless might, space splitting and mending over and over again, as though it struggled to contain the cataclysm unfolding within it.

At first, the McCollen Family and the Dervucror Family, proud and ambitious, watched in anticipation. Their champions fought not only for supremacy but for the chance to surpass all limits, to ascend to the mythical Empyrean Overlord Realm, said to hold the power of an entire galaxy.

But as the battle dragged on for decades, then a century, that pride turned to dread.

The void cracked apart with every strike. The shockwaves rippled across the galaxy, erasing stars and destroying countless worlds. Entire civilizations were obliterated in moments, unaware of the forces that had doomed them. Those who dared approach the battlefield—whether out of desperation or arrogance—were vaporized the moment they came near.

Now, at the heart of the broken galaxy, the two stood across from one another.

Kaelion's golden aura flickered faintly, a pale shadow of its once-magnificent brilliance. His body was torn and bloodied, his bones visible through gaping wounds. Across from him, Tharazen loomed, his crimson light sputtering like dying embers. His face, once regal and commanding, was now sunken and twisted by exhaustion, but his arrogance remained unshaken.

Tharazen's voice, hoarse yet thunderous, broke the silence.

"Kaelion! I am destined for supremacy! I am the one and only sovereign of this galaxy! How dare you stand against me? How dare you equal me?"

The crimson aura around him surged one final time, spreading like wildfire across the void. His body trembled, and then it began to transform. His humanoid form melted away, replaced by his true self—his dragon form.

Tharazen's colossal body emerged in a blaze of red light. His scales, gleaming like rivers of blood, reflected the dying remnants of stars. His wings stretched across light-years, blotting out what remained of the heavens. His claws could tear planets asunder, and his eyes—massive, blazing orbs—radiated pure, unrelenting dominance.

With a roar that shook the broken void, Tharazen opened his maw. The space around him distorted violently, collapsing inward as an immense force gathered within him. The energy he had drawn from stars, shattered systems, and even fragments of the galaxy itself coalesced into a beam of crimson light so dense it seemed to pull the surrounding void into its path.

"Sovereign Tyrant's Cataclysm!"

The beam exploded outward, a torrent of annihilation that tore through space, pulling everything into its wake. Shattered planets, remnants of stars—everything was dragged into the path of destruction, leaving nothing behind but emptiness.

Kaelion stood still, his body trembling with exhaustion. His golden aura, weak and wavering, suddenly steadied. Blood dripped from his lips, but his expression was calm, unyielding. Slowly, he shifted into a stance—timeless and deliberate. His legs bent, his body coiled, and his fists drew close to his chest.

For the first time in his life, Kaelion felt it—absolute focus.

His golden light flared brighter than it ever had before. Something within him stirred, deeper than he could comprehend. His mastery over the fundamental law of time expanded as though a barrier had shattered. In that moment, he felt his limits collapse, his body surging with clarity.

Time stopped.

Not just between them, but across the entire galaxy.

Stars halted mid-explosion. The fragments of destroyed planets hung motionless in the void. The shockwaves froze as if suspended in glass. In that moment, the entire galaxy became silent and still, a vast mural of devastation captured in perfect stillness.

And within that frozen eternity, Kaelion moved.

His fist shot forward—once, twice, a thousand times. Each strike erupted with blinding golden light, faster than the eye could follow, faster than time itself. His arms became a blur of motion, each punch converging into a single, devastating force.

"Heaven-Rending Fist!"

The galaxy-shaking blow collided with Tharazen's Sovereign Tyrant's Cataclysm.

The explosion that followed was unlike anything ever seen. The golden storm of strikes tore through the crimson beam, and the resulting impact spread outward in a wave of destruction that consumed the galaxy. Stars exploded into blinding supernovae, planets crumbled, and entire systems vanished into dust. The shockwave spread for countless light-years, erasing everything in its path.

At the center of it all, Kaelion's broken body floated in the void, unconscious. But as the energy of destruction surged around him, his body began to change.

The Heaven Devouring Physique, a power whispered of only in forgotten legends, awakened.

The energy of destruction—shattered stars, planetary fragments, and the very remnants of laws—spiraled toward him. His body became a vortex, devouring the chaos. Golden cracks spread across his torn flesh, mending wounds, healing bones, and restoring his form. His aura pulsed brighter and brighter, like the rebirth of a dying star.

A crack in space appeared nearby—a wormhole born from the unimaginable forces unleashed. Kaelion's glowing body drifted toward it, carried by the golden energy as though guided by fate. His unconscious form vanished into the fissure, the light of his aura flickering steadily as the wormhole swallowed him whole.

Silence followed.

The galaxy, once teeming with life, was no more. All that remained was the empty void—cold, silent, and lifeless. Tharazen's form had vanished, consumed by the very power he had unleashed.

And Kaelion, the lone survivor, had been carried into the unknown.

For those who might have spoken of this war, there were none left to tell the tale. The galaxy's final battle had ended, leaving behind only whispers that might one day echo across the stars—a legend of two titans whose hatred brought ruin to the heavens.

In the void, where silence now reigned, the cosmos moved on.
