"Well? What's your name? And what class are you from?" Kendo asked, her voice confident as she leaned slightly forward. Her curious blue eyes locked onto Shiro, observing his every move.

Clearing his throat, Shiro sat up straighter, adjusting to the sudden attention. "I'm Shiro. I'm from Class 1-A. Sorry about intruding on the party," he said, giving a polite nod.

The rest of the girls at the table exchanged glances before turning their focus back to Shiro, their curiosity piqued. Their gazes followed every subtle shift in his posture, making the situation even more awkward for him.

At a nearby table, Kaminari, Mineta, Kirishima, and Jiro were watching the interaction unfold with varying degrees of interest.

Mineta, fuming with jealousy, lifted his plate and began shoving food into his mouth aggressively. "How come he gets to sit at the table with all the ladies?!" he whined through a mouthful of food.

Kaminari chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Shiro's quite the player. I thought he had a thing for Uraraka."

"And I thought he was a cool guy..." Jiro muttered, rolling her eyes and shifting her focus back to her food. Her disinterest was almost palpable.

"So manly! He's going for all eight at once!" Kirishima said, his voice filled with admiration as he leaned forward, watching like an excited schoolboy.

Shiro could feel their stares drilling into him from across the cafeteria. His face tinged pink, much to his dismay.

"Class 1-A, huh? That's pretty cool," Kendo said with a bright smile. "These are my classmates. We're all in Class 1-B. I'm Kendo. Nice to meet you," she said, extending a hand.

Shiro, trying to keep his focus on more pressing matters, like talking to Uraraka, feigned a polite smile and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, Kendo. I'll see you guys around." He waved at the other girls before beginning to stand.

But just as he was about to leave, Kendo grabbed his arm, stopping him mid-motion. "You didn't even let the others introduce themselves. That's pretty rude," she said, raising an eyebrow.

Shiro sighed quietly, casting a quick glance over to Midoriya's table. 'This is getting ridiculous,' he thought. Resigned, he said, "Sorry about that. Continue."

One by one, the girls at the table introduced themselves, some taking their time and adding details, others keeping it short. Shiro gave each of them a small nod, but his mind remained elsewhere. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the introductions ended. Shiro stood up again, offering a small wave as he excused himself.

Walking back to his usual seat, Shiro caught Uraraka's gaze for a fleeting moment before she abruptly looked away, crossing her arms.

'She seems more animated now. Looks like she'll be more willing to talk to me,' Shiro thought, taking his seat.

Just as planned, Midoriya stood up. "I'm heading to the bathroom. I'll be back!" he announced, leaving Shiro and Uraraka alone at the table.

At the nearby table, Mineta watched with an audible groan. "He got done with those other girls, and now he's back to Uraraka? How greedy!" He began scraping his fork against his plate, the shrill noise grating on everyone's nerves.

"Cut it out, will you!" Jiro snapped, snatching the fork out of his hand. Mineta slumped forward, his head hitting the table as tears of exaggerated suffering streamed down his face.

Back at the table, Shiro turned his attention to Uraraka. "Did I do something wrong?" he asked, his voice calm but probing.

Uraraka didn't respond, her lips pressed into a thin line as she stared at the table.

"Hey, how long are you going to keep this going for?" Shiro asked again, his tone tinged with irritation.

"As long as I want to," Uraraka replied curtly, still refusing to meet his eyes.

Shiro leaned back, crossing his arms. "Fine. I won't talk to you either," he teased, mirroring her stance.

Uraraka glanced at him briefly, her lips twitching as if she was trying to suppress a smile. She uncrossed her arms and grabbed the edges of her chair instead.

Noticing her reaction, Shiro mirrored her action again, his deadpan expression making the gesture even funnier.

"Stop it, Shiro!" Uraraka complained, her tone half exasperated, half amused.

"I will if you tell me what's wrong," Shiro countered, raising an eyebrow.

Uraraka's expression softened slightly as she looked down at the table. "You're always keeping secrets from me... It isn't fair. I trust you and tell you everything, but why don't you trust me? Today, I was just like everyone else. I had no clue you had more than one power. The second one doesn't even seem that destructive, so you could've shown me that at least!" she said, her voice tinged with hurt.

'That's what this is about...' Shiro thought, leaning forward slightly. 'Uraraka's like a younger sister to me. I do trust her, but my secret isn't something I can just casually tell someone...'

"I unlocked the second part of my quirk later on down the line. I never intended to deceive you," Shiro began, cringing internally at the lie but keeping his expression sincere.

Uraraka's frown eased as she absorbed his words, nodding slightly.

'Good. She's falling for i—' Shiro's thoughts were abruptly cut off when Ida arrived at the table, sitting down next to Uraraka.

"Greetings! How are you two doing? That English class was so inspiring I had to stay back and discuss all the different literature that intrigued me with Sensei Present Mic!" Ida exclaimed, his usual enthusiasm back in full force.

"Ahh... I see," Shiro and Uraraka said in unison, their voices carrying the same dry tone.

They looked at each other for a moment before breaking into laughter.

"Who's the copycat?" Shiro asked through a chuckle.

"You copied me!" Uraraka yelled back playfully.

Even Ida joined in on the laughter, finding their banter amusing.

Suddenly, the blaring sound of alarms filled the cafeteria, cutting through the lighthearted moment.

"BRRR! BRRR! BRRR!"

The speakers blared a stern announcement: "Security Level 3 has been broken. All students please evacuate in an orderly fashion."

"Security Level 3? What's that?" Ida asked, standing and turning to a nearby upperclassman.

"It means someone has infiltrated the school!" the upperclassman explained, their expression tense. "This hasn't happened in all my three years here!"

Panic swept through the cafeteria as students scrambled to the exits, their shouts and hurried footsteps echoing off the walls.

"We need to get going too! Hurry!" Uraraka urged, grabbing her tray as she and Ida rushed toward the emergency exit.

Shiro, however, remained seated, his expression calm as he watched the chaos unfold. 'There's no actual threat,' he thought, leaning back in his chair.

In moments, the cafeteria was completely empty. Shiro glanced around, the silence almost eerie in its contrast to the earlier frenzy. 'This kind of makes me look suspicious,' he thought, standing up and scanning the room.

The sound of hurried footsteps caught his attention. Turning, he saw Midoriya entering the cafeteria, his face pale and filled with fear.

"Yo, Midoriya," Shiro called, waving casually.

Midoriya's gaze snapped to Shiro. He rushed over, his panic still evident. "What happened?!" he asked, his voice urgent.

"Apparently someone infiltrated the school," Shiro replied, his tone flat.

Midoriya tensed, his breathing quickening. "I- I- Infiltrated UA? N- no. It can't be. UA has amazing defenses, doesn't it?!" he stammered, his voice trembling.

Standing, Shiro placed both hands on Midoriya's shoulders, giving him a firm shake. "Calm down."

Midoriya blinked, his breathing slowing slightly. "Why're you still here? Shouldn't we be evacuating?!" he asked, his voice still tinged with urgency.

Shiro sighed, facepalming. He pointed out the window. "Does that look like a threat to you?"

Midoriya turned to look. Outside, a swarm of reporters was rushing toward the building, cameras in hand as they fought to gain entry.

"Reporters…" Midoriya muttered, his panic shifting to confusion. "But how did they get in?"

Shrugging, Shiro replied, "No clue."

'Shigaraki did it,' Shiro thought, his internal monologue betraying his words. 'That means the USJ incident is exactly a week away. I'll try and farm as many XP points as I can during the event. It's been a power drought recently...'
